The auditioning is from "The Plays the Thing" I do believe (correct me if I'm wrong anyone), and I used it to create a joke based on her lip syncs - playing with the Xena/Gab subtext on the show. So Gabby rejects the Gabrielle-actor (she ends up thinking only she should play Gab lol), but is deliciously intrigued by the smexy Xena-actor.
