While thus far I prefer the American SYTYCD hip hop routines, the UK is only on its 2nd season right? It'll get a lot better! If you look back the at the American broadway routines from season 2 they were...much to be desired. If you have talent you have talent, regardless of nationality and citizenship. And if I recall, they're have been plenty of talented dancers from abroad (who did hip hop spectacularly too) on American SYTYCD (i.e. Pasha, Anya, Gev, Hok, etc.)

I for one loved this dance. I thought the idea of using heely's in the dance was a good idea. The show is new to the UK. It'll get better soon. I'm American and I honestly watch more British shows than American. X factor, Britains got talent, etc. I love them :)

Hayley and Alastair never claimed to be hip hop dancers, so this was one of their weaker performances. The hip hop contesants were actually pretty awesome so shuppp about British not being able to dance hip hop. Tis just not these guys forte.

I think most of the source of their problems was the fact that they probably needed a little more time to practice, because they strike me as more contemporary dancers, and Hip Hop is so different from what they normally do that they both ahd to learn completely different work than they are used to, on top of the timing.

I think they gave a valiant effort. Hip Hop is not a British thing. It's a Black American thing. But it has been embraced by so many people and cultures and we should give people props for putting their best foot forward. I think it was pretty good.

The dangerous thing about attempting a mirror/reflection (or whatever you call it) dance is things can go dangerously out of sync. And in some parts they did lose it, but it's extremely difficult and on the whole they kept it up pretty well.
