IT IS SAD TO KNOW THAT WE LOST PERNELL ONLY SON IN 1998 AT THE AGE OF 38, 12 YEARS LATER ON JANUARY 24, 2010 AT THE AGE OF 81 PERNELL ROBERT LEFT US AND HIS FIRST WIFE AND MOTHER OF HIS ONLY SON FOLLOWED HIM ON JANUARY 31, 2010 EXACTLY 7 DAYS AFTER HIS DEPARTURE AT THE AGE OF 94.

Pernell Roberts was a classy and extremelly talented gentleman. The Bonanza show was made of four handsome men in their own way. When Pernell Roberts left, Bonanza was never the same. I still can not watch the series without him. The Cartwright family was loved all around the world. This is an amazing tribute to one of the american´s greatest singer, poet and actor. Pernell Roberts lives now on a place high on the mountain. We love you and miss you always my darling. Rest in peace

Thank you very much for your compliment it means so much to me. My mother passed away when I was 15 she was only 39 years old.. So many songs remind me of her & someday I hope to make a tribute to her .. By all means borrow it.. Your father will never truly be gone because he lives in your heart same as my mother. She died in 84 but after all these years she is still with me as your father is with you always.

@AdamCartwrightILoveU What a difficult thing to lose a parent at such a young age. Your mom would have been not much older than me. Time may make it easier but we never stop missing them. But we do have our beautiful memories. I wrote my dad a note today and told him I was dedicating this video to him from my heart to his. Thanks.

This video in a word is spectacular. You my friend have outdone yourself. The music and choice of pictures are perfect. I especially love to see him ride. To think that he could barely ride prior to filming "Ride Lonesome". I read that the person who taught him said that he took it so seriously that by the end of filming he was a pro. You can see it when he rode on Bonanza. He sat a horse like he was born to it.

@nyspats , I love this song and have been planning on making a Tribute with it for a long time, I just had to wait for the song to hit me just right because that's how I do all my Tributes, the song alwats has to hit me just right at the right time.Intresting, I had no idea that Pernell had no experience horse back, he sure does look like he has been doing it for ever and he sure looks good doing it.I think he look extra sexy when riding Sport. Very Yummy indeed.
