  • Is there a video of this anywhere?

  • Yes I agree Elvis was a true gentlement. He treated women by the way they aproached him. He could tell the difference between and nice lady and one who was coming on toward's him.

  • elvis was a true gentleman

  • the song is its midnight during a live performance he says listen cilla check it

  • he sounds like he's in a good mood.

  • He's says right here that the divorce was a mutual agreement........So why is everyone mad at Cilla cliamin she left him?

  • wow, amazing..I heard this on bootlegs but been a awhile, thanks for sharing this my friend..... BUT I think he Does think of her while singing it..even though he tries to say no..I doubt before thousands he could tell the whole truth about that song or their relationship ( Elvis An Priscilla )...Just my opinion Joe Esposito says the same thing though..

    WadeElvisMan

  • is it on a vido or cd? would love to see it

  • Thanks for sharing this,it enlighten some truth regarding all the crap that have been said regarding his divorce, specially in the book writen by his former bodyguards.

  • How sad that he was raging about Mike Stone in front of his six year old daughter. He sounds jealous, pissed off and high as a kite here. No wonder Priscilla split.

  • elvis hated stone! stone was a crud and still is die mike stone you prick!

  • He was talking about ' You Gave me a Mountain'

  • noj, your not a stud, but she likes stuudds

  • He's talking about "This time you gave me a mountain."

  • what song is he talking about when he says its the nicest love song he has heard - then he goes on and tells a story- and then the video ends but he doesn't sing- which song is he talking about

  • "This time you gave me a Mountain" was the song. It was writen by Marty Robins. That iss the song his is talking about.

  • At least this version includes the part where Elvis tears into Mike Stone! The Elvis worshipers who want to believe that Elvis & Priscilla's relationship was perfect, and never look at the fact they were BOTH having affairs, cut that part off! That's the best part!!

  • What song had he sang before this? The one that wasn't personal?

  • @PhantomMystique08 Pretty Sure it was " You gave me a mountain"

  • Awesome! Thanks

  • You are putting words in my mouth. This is my final word on this stupid topic. My definiton was: "An affair is a romantic & sexual relationship between two people who are not married to each other." I did NOT connect with marriage at all.

An "illusionist" is just who you are!! I have a lot to say on my channel comments about the so called fans who go around calling people who do not lock step with their ideas of a "good Elvis" not "real Elvis fans" Go to "deflections."

  • I chose to defend Elvis as the heterosexual man that he was, and as a man who LOVED WOMEN! How are Elvis's many women a "negative" or "bad" aspect of him? That is NOT negative at all because Elvis's women were a very important part of who he was! It is the jealous people wanting to demean him as a man who don't want to hear that he was FOR REAL a very sexual and sensual man who LOVED WOMEN all his life and had a lot of them!

  • Also, just what "good" aspects of Elvis are you focusing on? I haven't seen it. Most of the women who have chosen to talk about their relationship with Elvis it IS to DEFEND him against the hater's accusations! If we didn't have the wonderful stories from his women, then all we would have is the HATER'S grotesque LIES!

  • Elvis met, had a torrid affair with, & fell in love with Ann Margret just a few months after Priscilla moved into Graceland in March 63. Ann says it lasted over a year--the first year Priscilla was at Graceland, & Priscilla knew because Elvis told her. The promises Elvis had to make to Priscilla's father when she moved in kept him from Ann. He did go to Ann in 67 before he was to announce Priscilla's pregnancy to tell Ann how he still felt, & tried to get her back after his separation.

  • Him being Honest in part..

  • hello I want to ask them for a favor, they can write to me here what elvis says in this dialogue, I am of Hispanic speech and only to be translated in writing and do not understand when they speak English, thank you very much I am a big admirer of elvis

I did this comment with a translator, forgive for the errors that my comment could have. adios

  • Just my opinion but anyone think maybe Elvis started figuring out what kind of woman she really was and she saw the writing on the wall and decided she better move on, Elvis was sounding here like he was boosting his ego, and well he should, no man could compare to him.

  • ElvisFreak77 I think Elvis found out about Priscilla's first affair with her dance instructor in '68. He started an affair with Susan Henning at about that same time, but he was always discrete and then suddenly in '69 he appears in the casino of the hotel playing blackjack, French kissing a beauty on each arm, and when told how good he looked said "That's what a bad marriage will do for you." This made all the gossip columns and started all the tabloid rumors about their marriage being over.

  • @ElvisFreak77 even as a woman i have to agree. priscilla presley has based her total existance around the ledgend elvis presley.

  • Only word I never heard him say is fuck. Haha.

  • i totally hink he's telling the truth. I mean its from his mouth, n I think he was an honest man. He doesnt seem lik the kind of man who'd make up a story, esp 2 his fans....... ARTISTS NEVER LIE 2 THEIR FANS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He was very old fashion.

Men in the 50's and 60's never really lied,

They were sneaky, but they told the truth.

    Elvis especially told the truth.

  • he metioned mike stone twice he his pissed but keepin his cool

  • she left him for mike stone? who is sheila? why she didnt give elvis another chance?why was elvis takin demoral painkillers? and eating like a pig? why he didnt see everythin he had?count your blessins

  • Sheila Ryan - he was dating her while also dating Linda Thompson and Kathy Westmoreland

Priscilla left Elvis for Mike Stone - the karate guy

Elvis and Pris were both done with each other - Elvis was not the marrying kind

  • Elvis had been sleeping with Kathy off and on since 1970. On her DVD she says they were still lovers when he was with Ginger. He also started affairs with Barbara Leigh and Joyce Bova at about the same time in 1970. Yes, according to Guralnick, Joyce did have an affair with Elvis, but only she know if the abortion was real. Barbara Leigh has the best book "The King, McQueen and Love Machine" with a forward by Joe Espositio and he plays himself in her new audio version.

  • Your first sentence says a lot. Anyone who makes a DVD about her affair with Elvis is a stupid money-grubbing bitch.

  • Are you talking about Priscilla? She has done the most amount of money makers on Elvis starting with her denigrating book, hateful movie, numerous DVDs and interviews changing her story each time. Yes what she had with Elvis was an affair since she lived with him from 63 at age 18 until marriage in 67 at 22, what would you call it? She has refuted those stupid "tech" virgin bride claims in later interviews at least! Making it look like not an affair is one of several reasons for those claims..

  • It's not legally or morally an affair at all. Learn what the definition of an affair is. An affair has to have married people doing it. Neither Priscilla or Elvis were married. It's not an affair.

  • No, that is adultery that has to have one or both of the people involved married. An affair is a romantic & sexual relationship between two people who are not married to each other. They may or may not be married to someone else. Since "affair" is used as a generic term for extra-marital or adultery, you could call Priscilla Elvis' live-in girlfriend for many years. If you go by your definition, what Elvis & Ann Margret had was NOT an affair either because neither were married at the time!

  • "If you go by your definition, what Elvis & Ann Margret had was NOT an affair either because neither were married at the time!"

    Exactly.

  • No, your definition said they had to be married for it to be called an affair. I call what Elvis and Ann had an affair, and what Elvis and Priscilla had an affair because both were romantic and sexual. No cheating was involved because there was no commitment beyond the promises Elvis had to make to Priscilla's dad to marry her some day. Both Elvis and Priscilla had extra marital affairs during the marriage which was cheating except if they really had an "arrangement."

  • "No, your definition said they had to be married for it to be called an affair..."

Exactly. That was why I "exactly" to your point. Reread it.

Anyway, you're obviously a fake fan who chooses to FOCUS on the negative aspects of Elvis while I choose to look at the good in him. Any WHORE who makes money off of writing about "affairs" with him or any sexual encounter is focusing on the bad and thus is of no use to any real Elvis fan.

  • the king a love him forever .r.i.p elvis

  • Elvis was the man, guys idolized him and women worshiped him. To be honest he loved women just like he loved his mom. I could care less that he cheated, if you were Elvis and could have any women you might give in to temptation too. This does not mean he did not love Priscilla or Linda or any of the beauties he dated. People think from their shoes and would never think of cheating on women so gorgeous, but they are a dime a dozen when your the King!

  • Elvis wasn't upset about losing Priscilla to Mike Stone -- he was upset that his fairy tale version of marriage -- grooming a young "virgin" (NOT) into his exact ideal woman while being allowed to continue to sleep with other women on a regular basis -- just collapsed. Also, he was afraid his public persona would be damaged -- although it wasn't. Priscilla pursued Mike Stone for years. She was also ignorant about money eventually filing suit to change the terms of divorce which she had agreed to

  • Yes, you're right. Anita Wood understood Elvis had girls on the side, but her claims to virginity are negated by his love letter to her! A girl had to lie then or not get married. My opinion is since Elvis and Pris. were apart and dating others for 3 yrs after he left Germany, and he had Anita at Graceland until 8/62, Pris and Elvis both fell for an idealized image--she with the star and him with the ideal good girl he could put on a pedestal. Ann Margret is the one he should have married!

  • If Elvis was so upset about losing Priscilla why didn't he do whatever it took to win her back?

Instead he lost her to a man who was virtually penniless (Mike Stone).

  • yup...wat do u said its really true...

when priscilla said she's leaving (i read from her book), why he never stop her...

i mean really beagging her not to go?

  • wasnt the money, and it wasnt the fairy tale version of marriage. Cilla had enough and at the end of the day she is still a woman and needed to be treated with class, not material class. Secondly Elvis' ego blew up when she left him for Stone. yeah he lost the closest thing to his mom, and it hurt him. But the drugs kinda magnified his mood swings ..thats what you hear in this clip.

  • @hermanglimsher Mike Stone might have been penniless but he was with Priscilla who was and still is living off Elvis so he probably got on that gravy train ride with her for awhile, nasty sob

  • elvis was never the same after losing priscilla.

  • The song was "You gave me a mountain"

  • its midnight is the song he was talking about!

because he had said listen cilla in it

  • what song was he speaking about in the beginning?

  • he's talking about the song ' Softly, as I leave you"

  • I dont think thats the song, cause he said it was by Marty Robbins and Marty didnt write that song. but thanks

  • @MemphisRocksReturned

He is talking about "You Gave Me A Mountain" originally by Marty Robbins.

  • @MemphisRocksReturned I believe he's talking about "You Gave Me a Mountain"

  • @MemphisRocksReturned it's actually "You gave me a mountain"

  • @MemphisRocksReturned he is actually talking about the song: You gave me a mountain

  • @ennovash88 sorry 2 interupt, but i wonder who needed who most? elvis>priscilla or priscilla>elvis, i think elvis was just fine without 'cilla. what do u guys think?????

  • @kazzie26 I agree 100%. He would be better without Priscilla! She was his disgrace. What a shame.

  • @MemphisRocksReturned he is not talking about softly as i leave you, he is talking about you gave me a mountain!!!!!!

  • @MemphisRocksReturned no he is talking about "You Gave Me A Mountain"

  • @MemphisRocksReturned i think that he is talking about you gave me a mountain

  • He had just sung "you gave me a mountain"

  • @KaDe381 You gave me a mountain!

  • Yes, he did write a couple of songs. But you are missing the point. He wasn't a SONGWRITER. SONGWRITERS WRITE SONGS. SINGERS SING THEM! Alsoyou need to learn how to spell and use proper grammar. Punctutaion helps. Also, why are you prejudiced against southerners?

  • maybe you should ask BRUCE about that statement.

  • breaking up with priscilla killed him.

  • im only 29 i have been an ELVIS admire for 22 years and have never herd this be for and i thank you 4 posting this. It truly shows how much of a good man he realy was . thank you and much love God bless you Harlan Huff

    \

  • which song is he talking about? "Take Good Care Of Her'?

  • Always wil Love the guy, no one can replace him , the voice or the personality!

  • If you listen close he takes a couple of shots at Mike Stone "cilla's" boyfriend

"Mike Stone wishes he was a stud" is one

  • Well Mike had big shoes to fill, so what do you expect. Any man would feel a tad insecure. Wouldn't you? If I was a man I damn sure would.

    =)

    love you Elvis!!!

my personal opinion is that Mike was really an unattractive man!

  • He never humiliated her publicly by discussing his affair with Kathy Westmoreland, which happened long before Priscilla left him.

    What a gentleman.

  • Elvis is the best! Alexei of Alberta Canada

  • "MANY ~ THANKS"!!!

  • This is really sad to hear. He sounds high as a kite. I wish he'd gotten his life together.

  • This is not a "dialogue" it's a monologue. Two in a dialogue, one in a monologue.

Elvis has a beautiful voice. But I didn't like him when I was a teenager.

  • The Mike Stone that he's talking about when he says "Mike Stone ain't no stud,he's a...nice guy"is the Karate instructor that Elvis had sent Priscilla to learn karate from. She had an affair with him(Elvis had affairs too, plus, if Priscilla is to be believed Elvis never wanted to have sex with her after she got pregnant because he didn't think that mothers should do that kind of thing). I've read that it was the amphetamines that Elvis was taking that caused him to go on like this and I wonder.

  • I believe that we will never understand, what it was to be Elvis Presley Him self.

I also believe, that we will never understand wat it was to be Priscilla Beaulieu Presley

So no comment about private life for my self,

but on this version of it.

You can hear how Elvis was Hurt!

You also understand how the Money was a way for him, to forget how Hurt he was!

Money can buy evrything, to make your mind buzy! Right? EVERYTHING!

And than, We know the Story!

    We love you Elvis!

    Franck, Belgium.

  • Divorce not Devorse

  • Really interesting. What a sweetheat.

  • Czy ktoś mógłby mi wytłumaczyć co mówi Elvis?

  • WHAT CD IS THIS ON?????

    THANKS!

  • this is on the cd called desert storm

  • This is truly Elvis, I have the entire CD. He often talked very openly with the fans.Shiela is Shiela Ryan he dated both Shiela and Linda at the same time.

  • who on earth is shilah? I thought he dated linda thompson then

  • I kinda this this is fake. Why on earth would he talk about such a personal thing? I know he talked a LOT on stage, but I doubt if THIS subject was ever disclosed so openly.

  • this isn't fake this is from the desert storm concert in 1974 priscilla and elvis were just divorced so he talked about his relationship what happend and everything

  • @MemphisRocksReturned He is right , meaning>MemphisRocksReturned I have the 2 cd set Desert Storm and this IS on IT. Yet I think Elvis thought of Priscilla with many songs, and as I already said, I doubt before thousands he would say the 100% whole truth of whats in HIS heart as he sings certain songs.

    WadeElvisMan

  • @WadeElvisMan I stand corrected, the song was "You gave me a Mountain" was the song BEFORE the Priscilla dialog NOT, "Softy as I leave you" that song is sang after the dialog, sorry folks, pain meds sure can confuse you, LOL but I just listened to "desert Storm" 2 disk cd set, an "You Gave Me A Mountain" was sung before, and Marty Robbins wrote it.

  • nope not fake......

  • @indresx83 It's 100% real!!!

  • @indresx83 Pretty sure this is real. Some of the members of the Memphis Mafia have written about this incident. Priscilla and Sheila were both embarrassed by his speach, they were all shocked by his directness. These conversations happened more than one night during this appearance in 1974.

Elvis was talking about "You Gave Me a Mountain" by Marty Robbins.

  • @indresx83 The famous "drug rumors" rant also happened around this time. There is famous audio of Elvis onstage yelling about rumors around the hotel that he was strung out on drugs during this appearance in Las Vegas.

  • what songs are he talkin about at the beginning and end?

  • Always on My mind

  • Thank you :)

  • sad

  • Too bad things didn't work for them! :(

  • Thank you for sharing this I have never heard this..awesome was he in Vegas talking or where?

  • Thank you for sharing this I have never heard this...how awesome...was he in Vegas saying this?

  • yeah, Vegas!

  • One of the most interesting things I heard from him. Thanx for posting. It`s nice...
