I think it was very good that Rachel wasn't in Glee in this epsode, cause I bet that she would get the lead in this song, and her voice don't match with this song, she is very good in dramatical big musicals song, but Tina is more playfull and her voice is PERFECT for this song. Ok, glee charaters are officaly overreacting. Mercades is making a huge deal about how glee was terrible on her, and that she never gets a solo. She should be thankful tht she ateast gets a big part of it, and/or the huge note. So thats stupid about how shes acting. Santana, she complains to but not as much, yet she gets solos. While Tina, Mike, and Brittany never get solos, that long note or anything. Do they complain or join the troubletones? No. They each get about 2 lines a episode. Really

I love how in this episode they really show off Tina and Mike. I love them. Actually this whole season, they've been showing off the voices that they haven't in the past and they are amazing voices. I'm glad they are having more than just Rachel and Finn, not that I don't love them, I think they just get too many solos at a time. Thumbs up if you agree.

K... Rachel is the main character because glee started out with very strong broadway/musical influenced music. Now she's not well-liked anymore because glee starts to go mainstream and explore pop music which is not her strength. Still, she gets the lead, because she can learn FAST. Let's face it, glee releases like 10 songs after every episode. Lea either sings solo or do the background music for half of them. Sure she is not charismatic, but she is very capable of keeping up with her work.

@neversayhello Lea barely sings this season. She had 2 solos. Besides that only duets and group numbers. And her screen time is not that big, compared to Santana and her poorly written story. And Lea sounds AMAZING in everything. "Not charismatic"? Really? Are you blind? I don't get it.. she is way more charismatic than Naya for example, but because she is being herself, not a fake plastic doll, people hate her. Why are we talking about her anyway - its Jenna's song!
