To many varibales to considered to make this concept viable What if dust 514 isn't popular? What happened to eve after the gloss of a new fps wears off the screaming kid a Mic community. Does the integration of this concept leave a hole in the eve system. What if people aren't that organized on the 360 we are talking about eve online, this is a high level thinking intercit community. I see to many problems when incorporating an food player base with the complexity of eve.

@DeHumanizer91 as far as i understood you will be a part of our world fighting ground battles and such. You can fight matches regardless of us.. but we can f.eks hire you into our corp to help claim a region of space.. (Really hoping for the possibility of bording and sending the Dust guys in) CCP also mentioned something about player housing for both Eve and Dust players, wich will allow us to directly interact on spacestations and such (If you google this there is alot of exciting info mate!)

What I don't understand about this PI is what use you can put these materials you extract from them. What the hell do you use with noble gases/base metals/bacteria? What can you refine them into if you can refine them etc?

@dkhalevskyy You can buy a Pilot's License Extension (PLEX) using in-game currency. These are items bought by other players using real-life currency and are sold for in-game currency. PLEX prices fluctuate with player-driven market events. Generally it's between 300million and 500million ISK, also depending on the region in which you are looking to purchase.

placing the extractor nodes in the 'hot zones' do not yield you the most resources possible. As the 'hot zones' are constantly changing. thats why when you survey, it's never the same twice. CCP really needs to tell us how this works as PI has changed from calculable logic to dumb luck

So what happens after the extractors are built and they start mining? I assume you can come back and collect the minerals? Are other players able to destroy you extractors? Steal your minerals maybe? Give more details :)

@Hytekdk They start depositing minerals into a warehouse/spaceport like normal. Other players cannot mess with your shit - yet (that's a Dust 514 thing, and still a ways off).

@TanithAmberdemon yea but youve had to do change the settings through the Nvidia control panal and it hasnt worked properly for many objects, plus you have to turn off hdr, so yea, it was useless. Now its finally supported by Eve.

Thanks for upload. This version of PI looks much better than building 20 extractors and clicking 80 times. But i have a question, what happen when the cycle finishes, do you have to put new extractors on the different place or what?

@Venirto Good question! I wasn't sure, so I logged back into the test server to check it out, but the client exploded and then the repair tool failed... So I'm not sure. I would imagine that the cycles finishes that it will keep the extractors, but allow you to move them around if you wish. But I don't actually know, so your milage may vary!

Thanks. Admittedly the learning curve for EVE is much steeper than with many other games. Other people just don't find it fun. I've given up trying to determine who will find EVE fun and who won't. Some folks I would never have thought would have liked EVE love it, and some folks who I thought would love EVE hate its guts. Go figure.
