  • Nice video.

Please feel free to subscribe to our SAVE8 channel and stay tuned to our latest videos about the power of saving up to 8 lives by becoming a registered Organ Donor.

    Thank you.

  • I would be happy to have someone carve up my body for spare parts to help Someone in need .. BUT .. Only on the explicit condition that no health insurance companies profit from it !!! ..

  • All very well, but how can we ensure we are not prolonging the lives of TORY B.A.S.T.A.R.D.S

  • Hello everyone, PLEASE CONSIDER ORGAN DONATION! My best friend is 13 and is in hospital. She needs a new heart A.S.A.P! Please don't leave it too late! Please contact my youtube page if you are considering or know someone who wants to. thanks :'(

  • @TigerDuckTheSponge Pfft. Honestly, I'd give my heart without getting another one, gladly. But, I'm not 16 yet,so I can't decide that my parents can :( <3. Like,I'm 100% healthy and everything , just sick of life.I guess. But yeah, I honestly would help your friend.I'd love to :\ . P.S., I'm only 15, going to be 16 in June 21st.

  • I've been an organ donor my whole life and so have my immediate family. It's so important to donate so that when your life ends another's can go on!

  • It's a great video! I liked too much! It show the real life...

  • I am 22 and have CF and recieved a double lung tx when I was 16 and am now in rejection.

If I could scream for poeple to donate organs I would. My sister is 11 and needs a lung transplant, and we are waiting. We just need one person to take the choice to donate.

It's a beautiful and moving movie that you have there. Thanks for posting.

  • Great video, they put me on the heart transplant list said within the next 2 years I should be in the hospital dieing waiting for a heart.

  • Very powerful.

  • Great video. I'm so glad you got your transplant Emily and are doing so well.

More people should sign up to the Organ Donor Register on the UK Transplant website. Cards aren't good enough, only being on the register makes sure your views will be known for sure.

  • thank you so much for this video...god bless u

  • If anyone is thinking of donating a kidney. Go for it. I gave my Sister my left kidney 3 March 2000 in the Western Infirmary in Glasgow. Here I am 24 August 2008. I can do everything now that I could do before 3 March 2000. Last year on the 8th March 2007, my Sister gave birth to Sara Elizabeth. The most beautiful Bairn you ever saw. Words can't describe how I felt holding her. You can make a difference. One is all you need. Please help someone. My op was painful. Was it worth it? HELL YEAH

  • People become organ donors not because they have to, but because they choose to.

  • There is a great project to increase DONOR AWARENESS that ends Septemebr 1, 2008. American Express (the credit card company) will fund the project with the most votes and I would LOVE for it to be the DONOR AWARENESS project.

It was written by a girl that received a transplant and is living with CF cystic fibrosis.

GOOGLE IT. It is called Member Project "Second Chances" Mobile Organ Donation Awareness.

Please vote, pass the word to everyone and increase DONOR AWARENESS!

  • When you get to the American Express Member Project home page type UZHKO0 into the search box...it will take you right to it.

Come on people, $1.5 million could be AWARDED for ORGAN DONOR AWARENESS if we can win the VOTE!

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME, CAST YOUR VOTE AND PASS THE WORD.

  • enjoyed this video very much im going through the heart transplant deal, im scared everyday of dieing, but I just hope and pray one day I can get that gift of life.

  • Thank you so much for making this. I showed it to my family and friends and got another 20 or so people to sign up. Its awesome the work you guys do. Keep it up!

  • Great video! Awesome. I'm going to put a link to it on my website! I'm a HEART&DOUBLE-LUNG TRANSPLANT RECIPIENT in Canada and we have the same kind of shortage. It's tragic considering how EASILY it could be fixed (or at least drastically improved). Keep up the great work!

  • song is extrem more than words

  • beautiful. Go Emma!

  • Beautiful video- always brings tears to my eyes, and emily im so glad you got your transplant! Anyone know what song this is? Its very eye watering!

  • glad to see you got your transplant Emily and are doing good :D

  • Did you write the description yourselves?

  • Interesting! Check out this page where I have compiled some of the most inspiring videos of all time.

  • Excellent video, keep up the great work!

  • I am a organ donor and have always wanted to be one! I registered and got my card last year after making the decision that if no-one could contact my family the doctors would still know. I hope that when i go, i will help keep many people alive to see the beauty of the world! Great vid!!!!

  • Brilliantly done. Haven't seen this for a while and had forgotten how moving it is.

  • it should be manatory to take organs from dead people i do not understand why we have to ask or sign a card...your dead...

  • 17 yrs old Cf sufferer.. anyone with cf?..

    Goood video

  • i have CF, diagnosed at 6 weeks old. Great video girls. keep up the good work.

  • Keep yourself in your best condition and hang on!!

greetings 21year old CF guy from holland.

  • What's great is the words of the song used. Having people love us isn't going to keep us alive... it takes more than words. We need donors, and also, we need our freaking cure. There's like nobody left in my age bracket. It's ridiculous. More than words is what we need non-cf-having people. Pony up. Don't just get misty at this video and pat our heads and call us angels, write to a politician or something. Stem cells and stuff. (a 32yr old cystic in usa)

  • awsome job! That slide show was great! My name is Andrew Oliver and I have Cystic Fibrosis, thanks to everyone that has signed their donar card, I to recieved a double-lung transplant 3yrs ago and I'm doing great! Thanks again!

  • Same problem in France. Young french singer Gregory Lemarchal died last week.

  • I am in Canada and have been on the transplant list now for 6 years. Not enough people sign their donor card. :(

    This is a good video!!

  • i want to become an organ doner..but I have CF also so they probably wouldn't be able to donate a majority of my organs....

  • You can donate your heart! Im 15 with cf and think its awesome that although ill be gone, my heart is still beating, and my life wouldnt have been as worthless as drug takers and smokers because i gave the gift of life.

  • I'm an organ donor. Wishing you all the best.

  • Well done. thank you

  • aww! I love this video! its sooo great! I had mary on my mysapce friends list. or I mite have added her after she passed I'm not sure. but either way! as soon as I'm 18 (which will be in 17 days) I'm becoming an organ donor!

  • Im a 28 year old male with cf,this vid is tip top!

  • Great Stuff Im a 16 year old girl wth CF and had a liver transplant 2 years ago-and doing awsome

  • There should be so many more people like you. I'm from Vancouver BC, and nearly had to go to Toronto, due to shortage, after waiting for 1 1/2 years. I had one week left to live, and then, I was given the breath of life of a double lung transplant. I will celebrate 2 years in a few months. I have talked to the health mininster, and any one I can about organ donation. Dont take your organs to heaven. People need them. You both should be very proud of yourselves for this amazing video.

  • Very powerful. Thank you for sharing this video.

  • Hi emmie :o) thank you so much for everything you do to promote donor donation. I received the 'gift' 8 months ago today and it has completely changed my life. It has been years since I felt this good :o) I've forwarded this (and lucy's slideshow) to everyone I know. Send my love to emily and I hope she gets the call she so need soon. love Mike (kpg)

  • What a powerful, beautiful, moving video, well done. My little grandson Max (17 months) is one of the sweethearts waiting for a heart - he is the baby with the big smile in sepia in the video. Now of to pas this round to as many people I can around the world.

  • I also signed up for US donor registry. My sis in law died in a car wreck, but since she was an organ donor, now her eyes are helping someone else see the beauty of this world. I send you all my positive thoughts and best wishes, my hopes and prayers.

    Superlunary

  • I live in the US and I have my driver's license marked as a "donor" . I think everyone who can should do this.

  • Very well done video :D a wonderful cause too! Keep up the awesome work. Peace & Health to you and Loved ones

  • Fantastic - well done. Pictures really are worth a thousand words.

Pete - Lucky and eternally thankful recipient of a donor heart, Feb 2005.

  • I am glad they are changing the law in this country as i have a donor card and have told my family my wishs but i am not sure that those wishs will be followed

  • Wow nice video, great cause for people to see I am a liver receipiant. I would have died in Febuary of this year if not for the kindness and thoughtfulness of my donor and his family. My kidneys had shut down and it was the end. I have a niece that has cystic fibrosis and she also need a lung TP. My prayers go out to you all that need that gift of life. May those donors hearts be touched.

  • Very beautifully done! So touching, I've got chills! We're in the US and I've worked the last six years to promote donor awareness over here. I think people in the general population really have no clue about those waiting for transplants, they don't see the many patients who are hidden away in the hospitals. Media like this can reach so many and help people learn. Good job! :)

  • Emmie, the slideshow is brilliant and making such an impact - congratulations! And Em, I'm thinking of you and hope that you get the call very soon. With much love Rose xxx

  • WoW! Em & Em! Welcome to You Tube and well done on the slide show.

  • great work girls. this slideshow has me sobbing everytime. i get so happy seeig lucy and justines faces beaming out, then see Peter and the others still working, and it destroys me each time.

never lose hope, that call will come in soon.

  • As soon as i saw this video i went and changed my license to an organ donor, this was eye opening and extremely well done

  • beautiful. please sign up everyone, it doens't take long xxx

  • This video is making it's impact around the world(not just UK) and having the effect it's intended to do...Excellent news!

Without the selfless thoughts for others by a mother upon the tragic loss of her little boy my son and other kids would not be here with us today doing the mad and wonderful things kids do!

Emily still got my fingers 'n' toes crossed you get "the call" (((massive big hugs)))

    Cat x

(Mum to Aaron liver & small bowel transplantee at the age of 3 now 10 and wild!!!)

  • Well done girls! As you are aware we have first hand experience of what a gift a transplant is. Lucy is 2 1/2 months post heart transplant and it has changed her life so much. Thanking the Donor and their family for this very brave and very special gift.

Emily, still praying hard for your gift of life.

    Bev xx

  • Beautiful video and very touching. If this dosent make people become donors, i honestly dont know what will. Kepp up the fantastic work girlies. Yous are the best x x
