But it is a lot of work to make this vid with music and soundeffects. The music is no problem but find the good way with a begin and the end. But there are still loads of bugs anyway :) However we have to think outside the box - whole world is more or less available for play with tens of thousands of real airports - it is a huge game and its brilliant :) But thats just my humble opinion
In the demo i am having problems landing the jet. Cant reduce thrust so flying on one engine. Is it possible to be in the cockpit and raise my eye level so i can see out of the window on final approach? Approach has to be very shallow with alarm going off all the way thru. Any ideas whats wrong?
I meant cant reduce thrust sufficiently. Even after landing and the engines are cut with f1 it wants to move forwards and it is more or less impossible to stop it with the breaks on.
All the engine and braking controls can be switched on and off via the keyboard, so you can have a better view. When you want to land, set the flaps to full (F8) and press (F1) to put the engine into reverse thrust. Remember that you can only land the plane safely when you are below 150 knots. When you are about 200 feet off the ground or less, pull the plane to an angle of 2.5 degrees. Once you have touched down, set the spoiler to full (/) and brake (.). Hope this information helped you.

yes i got over 50 plane on demo but demo is bad because if u play like 1 hour or 1 hour and 30 minutes then it shut downs and says demo time has experid but its cool
well i have it and my version of the demo looks blury on the words and outsides of the plane. it sucks! but it is still fun to play regardless of poor graphics. :)
with my old computer i have run this game with 512ram and an old 7300le at medium and highest setings with no lag:P now with intelcore2duoE6700+2*OCZ PC2-7200 XTC NVIDIA SLI 900MHz and 2*sli 8800gts329mb ANd the game run very well :P so i think you can play the game with great settings
according to the demo readme a lot of things will be improved but im afraid that your gf5500 will be choking at higher LOD settings. My 6800 definitely needs a companion of second gf for smooth flights :(
dude i got the same card, shader model 2.0 is turned off by default for that card u gatta go to the fsx folder and the display.cfg file, open it with notepad and look for nvidia geforce fx 5500 and put shader20plus=1 or shader20plus=2, but this really takes fps i dropped from 12fps to 5fps with it set to 1
not in the demo in full ver you gonna get tens of thousands of real airports all over the world. If theres a small private airstrip somwhere around you it surely will be included..
The best part of the demo is that you are able to download other airplanes, boats cars, and girls for the demo. In my fsx demo, I have 4 Lexus is series cars with "secreTARIES" IN THE BACK. i HAVE A MIL HELICOPTER ,FEDEX ATR 50, FINNAIR DC-10, and a delta md88
gf 6800 gt 256mb, 1.5GB RAM, level of details is at ultra high for aircraft and special effects but at medium high for terrain and i got around 15-20 fps. Hope it will do better with full version.

go to the engine console and apply the speed beaks to reduce the trust sufficiently. and use the parking breaks at touch down
