I still think if u suspect your opponent is map hacking, do things that are completely obvious. Like, if your toss build a death ball of zealot archon or something. Or if terran do standard builds like 12 rax, 13 refinery, 16 orbital command.
I'm not sure if I trust this video. I'm watching on a cell phone, so the video quality is low. But it looks like the camera movements are sudden and jerky. When following a player's camera in a replay, the motions are more fluid. However, I can't be sure about this observation until I watch the video at higher quality. Just keep this in mind as you judge the evidence.

he wasn't maphacking at all. He didn't fly his vikings to your medivacs: he flew his vikings to your mineral line because he wanted to kill your SCVs, and happen to see your medivacs. The reason he didn't scout is because he's a poor player. Honestly you shouldn't of kept your medvacs exposed like that, and you should of gone for a drop when you realized he had no army. When you attacked, he obviously didn't know or else he would of put his tanks on the high ground. You had a terrible army.

In my opinion, it's more fun to gain your league level by playing. Why get into Diamond, for example, to get your ass whooped cause you rely too much on hacks? It's fun to win at any level. I firmly believe Starcraft 2 sucks. These are not the only hacks as well. No one should have 20 Battlecruisers and a well defended base 8 min. into the game. Especially when I had double his economy for the whole game, which ended at 9 min.
Right. Maphacking and mineralhacking are two different things. Maphacking is basicly hacking the software on your comp. The SC2 client knows whats behind the fog so you just tell the client to show it for you.
Mineralhacking is more complicated, you need to hack blizzard to do that.
That said, you jsut suck and in order to be taken seriously provide us with a replay
most of the top players in sc 2 either cheese their way to victory or hack blizzard is stupid for not hiring better people to make a program that can detect 3rd party programs enabled during play to stop this from happening you'd think they'd learn from sc 1
Getting maphacked sucks, but you shouldn't have been on 1 base 15 minutes into the game with all of your units in dropships. With a better economy you could have won the game.

This is pretty stupid. Of course there are hacking diamond players. There are undoubtedly hacking masters players. For the same reason that there are Olympic level athletes that use steroids, people want to win things that they compete in, so some people who really want to win but feel they can't do it on their own cheat. There will always be dishonest people, in all facets of life, and at all levels of activities.
I really liked this video. People often say their opponent was hacking but here it's actually very clear that he was. Looking in the right place at the right time every time. I'm glad that Blizzard take such a dim view of cheaters. It's up to observant people to catch the hackers and report them.

@Jarv1178 Good joke. Blizzard has a terrible habit of controling maphacking. For example, wc3 tft, wc3 roc, sc1, sc1 bw. They will ban people for the first year, but this is merely the calm before the storm. I gaurentee SC2 maphacks will be rampant within at most 2 years.

most of the top players in sc 2 either cheese their way to victory or hack blizzard is stupid for not hiring better people to make a program that can detect 3rd party programs enabled during play to stop this from happening you'd think they'd learn from sc 1

Getting maphacked sucks, but you shouldn't have been on 1 base 15 minutes into the game with all of your units in dropships. With a better economy you could have won the game.

This is pretty stupid. Of course there are hacking diamond players. There are undoubtedly hacking masters players. For the same reason that there are Olympic level athletes that use steroids, people want to win things that they compete in, so some people who really want to win but feel they can't do it on their own cheat. There will always be dishonest people, in all facets of life, and at all levels of activities.

I really liked this video. People often say their opponent was hacking but here it's actually very clear that he was. Looking in the right place at the right time every time. I'm glad that Blizzard take such a dim view of cheaters. It's up to observant people to catch the hackers and report them.

@Jarv1178 Good joke. Blizzard has a terrible habit of controling maphacking. For example, wc3 tft, wc3 roc, sc1, sc1 bw. They will ban people for the first year, but this is merely the calm before the storm. I gaurentee SC2 maphacks will be rampant within at most 2 years.

I see that this is diamond league, but I get beat by some of the WACKIEST shit in bronze (I just got the game and I never played SC before so I'm terrible) but like...how rampant is map hack? Would it be fair to say maybe 1/5th of the players in bronze might be using it?
