Personally i think that zanessa were the best! I'm not sure if there is a zashley or not but judging on the pictures i've seen latley i'm starting to believe there is.Ashley tisdale seems pretty cool and i like her even if she is dating zac (which i hope not).I would never do that to my best friend but, Vanessa seems happy lately with Austin Butler sooo... i doubt very much that zanessa will get back together, so we might aswell let them move on. She's still friends with both Zac and V, and I dont think there's nothing wrong with that. Zac & V may be over but that doesn't mean Ashley needs to stop seeing both of them just because they broke up. They're still friends.

I think you can interpret either as in they're all friends when she mentioned 'they're friends still too" as in vanessa and zac are friends with the whole cast of HSM or as in they did break up and they're still friends. Either way, even though I love Zanessa, if they need to and feel like taking a break so be it. They're still young and probably still need to figure out a lot of things in their lives :)

In my point of view, she said it like she and the cast are all friends, Zac and Vanessa are her best friends and they are friends too so it's not weird for them to be "competing" against each other on the same category. I don't think she meant "they're friends" as "they are friends and nothing more", like, she was saying it wasn't weird for her to be up to the same category as her friends and she spoke for them saying they are friends too so they don't mind it either, you know?
