  • You can tell that the kids wanted to do this, im pretty sure kids don't make a bed in side somewhere with a carpet, the would make one in an area with concrete and loads of tables. Don't worry, it's FAKE

  • You can te

  • Im ready for both the right and left wing hatemail guys. Bring it on.

  • If we want to change the world in favor of human beings instead material goods we have to change the way we consume and live a lot simpler and without much hesitation i can speculate that most you people complaining here would start crying when your stuff is stripped away from you for the better of humanity instead of your selves. The world has problems and its up to us and our future generations to solve them. Not through complaining but through leadership and excellence.

  • Perhaps it should be noted as well that the general rule of thumb now a days with globalization is that unless you have some big bad evil corporation or foreign investment into countries virtually nothing gets done in a peaceful well organised manner. You want the world to change? Then maybe redesign a failing capitalistic system which is oriented around the idea of producing surplus and low cost products to out compete other countries goods. The ugly truth is that we are responsible for this.

  • Heres some food for thought as well for you other bitchy people. It was you who elected your goverments which designed the economic policy of your countries. Which allow transnational corporations to go into developing countries and treat people like shit. You enjoying your life America? Imagine when your currency gets liquidated because of your years of greed. Now so called savage China owns half your foreign debt. Tired of seeing kids in factories over there? BUILD YOUR OWN INDUSTRY.

  • dude why you and a girl at background laughing? you and that girl are stupid because yal are laughing at those children are been mistreated. So I guess yal think it's ok to mistreated a child. Yal make me sick.

  • I think this video is a shame and defamatory of the hard/cheap labor being done around the world to do business with the triad, developed countries.

You use you innocent kids and exploit the cruel happening going on while making fun of t and laughing in the back ground? Your now better than the corporate pigs who run the bad economy to the ground.

I'm sorry for you sir, you're a sick man.

  • dumb yank ..havent got a clue about the real world....stay in your little fairyland america..

  • Sometimes you have to know when not to make fun of something because of the pain and reality of those effected......this is one of those times. Bad choice, not funny. You should remove the video.

  • This is not something to joke about asshole

  • @kellykinsellives I totally agree with you.

  • I can see they're hard at work

  • ill admit i giggled a little...

  • @catklyst are you stupid or what. Laugh at something like this. I guess if someone work your little kids to death it's ok and you probably think it's funny. YOU MAKE ME SICK TO MY STOMACH!!!!!

  • @dmeiske1 this video is a joke and this man obviously loves his children. If your taking this too seriously you need to remove the pole from your bottom. Im pretty sure all of us are fully aware of the problems that developing countries are going through, but if your going to spout your save the world bullshit every time you get the chance to then maybe you need to go live in bangkok like i did and watch the leppers crawl around on the ground as limbs rot off their bodies. Things could be worse.

  • sorry you joke of things that are HAPPING

  • god damn it China

  • Oh hey this is really funny! You should use your kids in a holocaust video next!

    You're sickening.

  • Your children are adorable. =]

  • How can you make fun of something that is realy happening world wide, with kids less fortunate as yours ? Is this what you as a father call humor ???

    You disgust me.

  • @Nasira777 I get the feeling we are on the same side. However, you probably think screaming at foreign governments to change is going to work. Since I have kids, I know the more you scream at someone to do things your way, the more they rebel. My mother-in-law screams at the kids to go to school, eat, etc. and that makes them NOT want to go to school. What I do is say in a happy voice, "Hi kids! Time to go to school! It's going to be a lot of fun!" Showing people subtly works much better.

  • @robthunder If you look for video under "ChinaBlue", you'll recognize that it's far more serious then you think and no matter how much underpaid workers are force to make irrational decisions under bad working conditions, it would take much more to make a change.

Finding a job is so scarce it's almost a blessing to make any money in the first place but under what cost?

  • your kids would form the CUTEST baby union ever. and the littlest one trying so hard to read the manual.. just adorable! ignore the comments from the assholes without a sense of humor.

  • the father **person talking is a loser ......

  • @imassage1212 I volunteer at my kid's school, teach them how to treat other people nicely to give them "warm fuzzies", I show them how to deal with bullies, show them how to protect their friends and even people they don't know from bullies. You on the other hand are a 39 year old who "favorites" foot fetish videos. Which one of us here is the loser? Look at yourself in the mirror before prejudging others.

  • This is a disgusting video if it is not acknowledged to be a guilty episode of dark humor. If the intent of those filming is to mock the claims of those who expose the vast army of oppressed sweatshop child slaves in China, then they ought to be subjected to the same tortures.

  • @musicalidea We didn't force them to do it. Actually it's the opposite. I woke up early hoping to get it done before the kids woke up. Unfortunately, the 3yr old boy heard me and started crying that I was trying to have all the fun and not let anyone else have the chance. Then the little girl wanted to join in the "fun". We aren't mocking anyone except for our own two kids. Because they have Chinese faces and the boy is coughing, they do look like Underage Chinese workers.

  • I cant see the funny in it.

kids are really working for ikea in china

    for disney

    for nike

and kids no more bigger than them

  • @darksidebluebox Just poking fun at my own kids. Any parent knows what it's like when you try to get a task done, but your kids insist on "helping".

Someday they'll realize how lucky they are getting cool stuff from IKEA to assemble themselves because they think it's FUN to assemble. They actually have become very good at assembling stuff. Must be all the training they had with all the LEGO sets.

  • So did the kids just come in the box with the product? xD

  • When I saw those comments how ashemed u should be I was laughing guys. The subject is really controversial but feel sorry for those with limited imagination and common sense. However not expecting much as 90% would not get that. Maybe there could be another way of showing the issue.

I think the idea of recording those two sweet children playing and I feel enjoying themselfs is fantastic. It shows the real problem behind that.

    Great.

    Thank u

    Great idea.

    Thank u

  • LOL. They seem to be enjoying themselves. It would be more cruel to stop them. Adorable kids by the way.

  • hahahaha lol!

  • quit coughing bak to wok HA HA HA

  • dude are these your kids?

  • to bad they dont get the joke. Not much carpet on a factory floor. lol

  • asshole, find something to do

  • sick basterd, i would cut youre throath

  • fail. what if the thing falls down and hurts the kids. Irresponsible much?

  • @icool58 The kids INSISTED on doing the assembly. Every time the adults tried to do it, the kids (especially the boy) cried "No, no let ME do it!" They thought it was fun, like some advanced LEGO kit. Hopefully, some parents out there can relate to this.

  • @icool58 cripes, people like you make me sick. I had metal tonka toys and toy guns that looked like guns. I survived. Kids will get hurt regardless of what they do. It's part of growing up.

Drive a car? Fail. Same principle.

  • Not funny to trivialize such a matter. Not funny!

  • @JMassieASU Actually videos like these are the only way to get through to the people in China. If you film something that is obviously denouncing child labor, that video will be censored by the Chinese government.

  • @JMassieASU sure it is, as you type on your computer with components made in China.

  • Ah! great work little ones

  • this is a lie, beds that come to europe or usa are flat pack. i would love to meet the bastard who made this.

  • @TheLongfords IKEA made this. These beds actually are quite sturdy and we are quite happy with the purchase.

  • they are living in horrible conditions!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • lololol mchill out everyone! we know it goes on, but this happens to be a joke

  • soon it will be opposite... i want to see american children working for chinese.. and it will come soon.

  • @ulleule nah thats not gonna happen bitch

  • considering the truth of the matter, its really not that funny to laugh about when you have kids yourself.

  • LOL!!!

  • To Funny :)

  • There are 2.6 million child workers in Nepal. Children work in mines/stone quarries, on plantations and farms where they harvest sugar cane, tea, tobacco, millet, maize and rice. Nepalese children are trafficked into India and sold to work in the carpet industry or sex trade. Bonded labor is a serious issue in Nepal. Bonded labor occurs when a child is left with a debt from their parents or is used as collateral for a loan by their parents that they cannot repay.

  • @hplaserjet2001 I agree with you but if you make a film that is obviously against government practices, then those governments will censor/ban your video and you won't even get through to the people of that nation. The best way to get through to the affected people is to be more subtle IMO.

  • @robthunder Thanks, I recognize that your video was tongue-in-cheek.

Most countries do not have those same restrictions (yet). Consumers can make a difference by how and where they choose to spend their money.

    Your children are adorable.

  • These children are often tricked into cooperating with traffickers because their unbearable situation and are deceived into believing they will be better off. These children, usually boys from 12 to 16 years, are sent to farms in Africa. 200,000 children are trafficked every year in Africa. They are underfed, live in poor conditions and are forced to work day and night. More than one third of the Ivory Coast's economy is acquired through child slave labor.

  • Adidas and Puma also manage their sweatshops similarly to Nike. Children earn about six cents per hour in Bangladesh sweatshops. Sweatshops in Bangladesh are notorious for their many fires and poor safety history. Ten children died in a fire at a clothing sweatshop called Chowdhury.

Child slave labor is also a severe problem on cocoa farms. Slave traffickers steal children from third world countries and sell them to countries such as Cote d'Ivoire and Mali, South Africa.

  • Nike exploits cheap slave labor in third world countries to increase its profits by paying people pennies per hour for their labor. Workers at a Nike operated sweatshop located in Hermosa, El Salvador earn 29 cents for every 140 dollar Nike shirt and 30 cents for every Nike pair of shorts they sew. Child workers earn less than adults in these sweatshops. Workers are forced to work up to 19 and a half hours each day, seven days a week.

  • In 2003, there were 246 million child laborers in worldwide, including Bangladesh, China, India, Mali, Nepal, Salvador, Thailand, the Philippines and countless other countries. Many industries use cheap child slave labor in third world countries to make larger profits. Children are forced to work as prostitutes and street vendors, on farms, in homes, mines and in sweatshops that produce shoes, clothing and toys. 22,000 children die each year as a result of slave labor.

  • man, that's funny. And the kids kept going, didn't laugh or anything. I gotta show this to the wife! Thanks for the laugh :)

  • You should be ashamed. Listen to that kids cough and look at how tiny they are! They obviously need medical attention and food.

You think it is amusing to record and broadcast the dark side of child exploitation? You should be ashamed for doing nothing about this travesty -put down your camera and move your fat ass and help those kids!

  • @juxtn Read my response to the other posters and you will understand more. People in the US already know about this, so the real trick is getting through to the people of the affected nations. You cannot be so obvious that your video gets censored/banned by those nations government officials.

  • @juxtn LOL relax dude, I think that these are his kids and they really want to do the job themselves. This isn't real child labor, just a family having fun. Yeah child labor is messed up but this isn't it.

  • ROFL!!!

  • hahaha
