The Chinese government wouldn't even let his wife travel to Oslo to accept the prize for him. This is the first time since Nazi Germany that the Nobel Peace Prize was not handed over. This is very shameful for a country that claims to be open and modern now. Everyone in the Chinese government should kill themselves.

@Max2385 Do you know what's even more shameful? That this is actually a prize of the Norwegian parliament instead of the Nobel committee and that this prize is actually political in nature which doesn't fulfill the true meaning of the Nobel peace prize.

The Swedish Nobel committee also oppress the the Swedish opposition. Contrary to tradition they refused to invite the new member of parliament, Swedendemocrats party leader for political reasons. They are no better than the Chinese dictators.
