BALK is Peresentday AFGHANISTAN , the last name of this great man say that he was AFGHAN but some pooor STEALER from (K)iran try to STEAL HAHA

    RUMI AFGHAN POEM

  • @AFGHANBULLZ sorry but you should read more on Rumi, Balkh is a Persian word and there is no afghanistan in his time, it is called Khorosan and they are Persians, Afghan means Pashton which are nomadic tribes not Persians... Rumi's father was a governor in a city closer to modern day Tajikistan.... A Persian/Iranian governer appointed to the region

  • I belong to the beloved, have seen the two

worlds as one and that one call to and know,

first, last, outer, inner, only that

    breath breathing human being.

    From Essential Rumi

  • Only Breath Not Christian or Jew or Muslim, not Hindu Buddhist, sufi, or zen. Not any religion or cultural system. I am not from the East or the West, not out of the ocean or up from the ground, not natural or ethereal, not composed of elements at all. I do not exist, am not an entity in this world or in the next, did not descend from Adam and Eve or any origin story. My place is placeless, a trace of the traceless. Neither body or soul.
  • Rumi didn't belong to any country or religion, Shams was his world and religion

  • he was from balch he belongs to the afghani site persia was an kingdom not an contry es was 98327875% when he was not afghan he can also not be iran on this time iran was not created so it es absoult bull shit what you say afghan means not only pastho you have no idea

  • he was from balch he belongs to the afghani site persia was an kingdom not an contry es was 98327875% when he was not afghan he can also not be iran on this time iran was not created

  • I do not exist, am not an entity in this world or the next, did not descend from Adam or Eve or any origin story. My place is place less, a trace of the traceless. Neither body or soul.

...first, last, outer, inner, only that breath breathing human being."

  • What's with the B.S Koran verse? Rumi said he is no religion or cultural system, I was going to favor it but you ruined it for me.

  • there a lot of iranians, afghans (pashtuns) and turks triying to steal the tajik history. we saved the persian language and we created the modern persian culture. thanks to the tajiks (dont confuse with the citizens of tajiksitan) today exist the persian culture. our ancestors (samanids, saffarids, tahirids, khwarezmid, ghorids,.. etc) saved this culture. nobody should insult us. no iranian, pashtun or turks should claim our history and inheritance.

    respect.

  • @corderitodedios69 You are disgracing Rumi. Don't you understand, there is no separation between you and I. We are all part of Allah.

  • he was not afghan or iranian. afghanistan is a fake country created by british in 1747. rumi even didnt know what was a "afghan". either, he wasnt iranian. iran is another fake state created in 1935 triying to associate themselves to germans.

rumi was a tajik from the great khorasan. khorasan was part of the great iran zameen (dont confuse with the modern iranian state). who descend from rumi are the modern tajiks from "afghanistan", tajikistan and "uzbekistan".

  • Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't matter that I don't understand the language.

The translations of Rumi's work and message reveal magnificence...

  • This is such beautiful music. I do not understand it but it evokes love in me.

  • @Samadhiatman500 You like this then you will love the afghan singer singing rumi. type in (Ahmad zahir rumi)

  • english or urdu translation please.....

  • lyricsssssss..

  • where did you get the picture from @ 4:00 minutes(time)

  • RUMI UNDERSTOOD THAT LIFE IS NOTHING, TO BELIEVE THAT HE WAS STILL BELIEVING IN GOD OR ALLAH, IS SIMPLY NOT RIGHT! ALLAH IS IN YOU, NOT IN A BOOK, OR MECCA, OR IN MASQE OR EVEN IN ISRAEL OR VATICAN! ALLAH AND GOD IS IN US!!!

  • @aryanmary muslims will never believe you... sorry.. only a very few like me who knows what your saying. im ex muslim anyway..

  • ahange be musighish nemiyaaad.

  • wenaolong, yes he may have been Persian, but so what? Rumi says 'my place is the place-less'. The boundaries are in our imagination, the God that Rumi edifies never put them there and in reality they're not there. We just like to think they are there to justify our squabbles and make life difficult for each other. God and Rumi have nothing to do with that. But if you like to think he was Persian and that comforts you, then please, do so.

  • Please for all those disputing the place Rumi was born, listen to rumi, to what his life represents! Rumi says, "my place is the place-less " Rumi's place is love, the universal love of life, god, existence and people....

  • english u retard

  • For knowledge about life of Rumi refer to Wikipedia. Rumi was born in Balkh, today's Afghanistan and part of Khorasan empire at the time of his birth. He wrote his works in Persian (Farsi) and moved to Eastern Roman empire (Byzant, today's Turkey) and is buried in today's Turkey.

  • @0Artist

khorasan Empire? :-) i think you have just smoked a joint and have kind of halocination

  • Hello! can someone put translation for this please.. Urdu or English or Hindi please....

    Would be really grateful :)

  • beautiful

  • Rumi was born i Balkhara (Horasan). Latter moved with his father and familly to Iran (Persia) and after in view to avoid the Monglo invasion, all they moved to nowadays Turkey, near Koni. The turkish sufi only took care for his words, but that is the way we have them now. Long live ot all concerned!

  • Listen to Rumi. Did he say I am Turkish? Or Persian? Why do we involve ourselves in these speculations when all that Rumi loved was the Divine, that knows no boundaries of country or language or culture. His poetry takes us beyond all that.

  • @beryl100able You are right, the whole idea here is to be something with an inside capable of increasing in depth to the point of reaching Divine Reality, not increasing in superficiality until reaching supreme pettiness. Besides, no real Persian wastes his time proclaiming his Persian-ness to the world, but is probably busy living the best life he can. That's why I think Rumi was a Persian! :D Haha, didn't see that coming did you!?

  • @beryl100able One Love,peace my friend

  • @beryl100able Ameen.

  • rumi was not from this world

  • i mean Rumi

  • Sufi was a Persian and he moved to Turkey during his youth, this is proven because all of his poems are in persian and his literature is influenced by the Culture of the Persians of that time. however he has lots of followers in Turkey.

  • @shabzadeh88 keep dreaming... yavuz sultan selim wrote all his poetry in persian too..so he is persian too?..well but i like the fact that everybody wants to claim rumi for his or her.. cami says hes no prophet but he has a (divine)book...

  • @isa123454321

rumi described the turks as a people who are only good for destruction, not civilization

  • @IranMarzban this is a filthy lie! persian dog!

  • @DrCaniko

i can give you the source.., he decribed greeks as people who gave civilization , and turks people who destroy buildings

  • @shabzadeh88 He wrote in Persian, so he is Persian? What a flawed logic! I speak and write in English, but I am not English. Read his poems if you wanna know where he is from.

  • @agimac Actually, he states in his poetry that he originated in Wakhsh, a small village now in Tajikistan. His father was a notable Persian theologian, his mother was a native of the region. Persian was his mother-tongue, but he also learned Arabic and Greek and - to some extent - Seljuq/Oghuz Turkish. Yet, he never felt at home among the Seljuqs as the Turks (then nomads) were a foreign people to him. A fact that is explicitly stated by his son in his poetry.

  • @agimac

yes he was persian, as he wrote in 99% of his poems in persian, while arabic was the language of islam (why didnt he write in arabic?), and while he described turks as people who are made to bring destruction. Also he was born in ancient Iranian city of Balkh, where the Iranian prophet zoroaster was born.

  • @IranMarzban He wrote/spoke in Farsi

  • the piano made it all bad for me s:

  • yup, the Piano doesn't work too well for me either! But I guess I should give it a chance.

  • he was persian but he lived in turkey :) as i know..

he might have spoken turkish too but im not sure...

  • Hes not Turk, his from Tajikistan then he and his family moved to Iran.

    Longe live Persians

  • @Mehrnoush28 ACTUALLY BORN IN BALKH CURRENTLY AFGHANISTAN. BUT I DON CARE AND RUMI WOULDNT CARE EITHER

  • oh the one whom my Heart is attached to

from you where i would run?

    oh light of both visions

whitout you how can i see?

    Oh my nack is trapper

from you where i would run?

  • Iran is rich of Peots like Rumi

  • i need tranlatio plz

  • this poem says it all, it says clearly that I am "nothi...ng" in compare with your exsistans! It does not say that I am human and the best creator you ever made!!???!!I wish Molana

could be alive and says I am not religious, just like Jesus to say that I was a

revolutionary just like Che, or Karl Marx says that I am a philosopher not a

socialist or so and so and so humans are still making things up!!!

  • Rumi is about life and nature and universe! It is

interesting that religious people due to their weakness, link everything to

their empty believe because The Superego still tells that there is nothing and

Id is controlling and make people believe in human made stuff!

  • maybe rumi is the greatest religious poet of all religions and times. for me, he is a great inspiration and help for my spirtitual life, and i´m not a muslim. but rumi speaks for everyone whose heart is open minded!

  • I say, love Rumi,

let peole say what they like to say

Love has a price, I say

  • has any one realised every time there is a web side of rumi it is filled with garbage with some idiotic foolish statements always? think about it brothers and sisters there are wrong people could be CIA any one using these web sides to create or keep us in arguement or make those who really want to read on RUMI or HAFIS or any great muslims hate these web side or new comers to be discussted by these web sides

  • Thanks for the translation. A beautiful

    song/message.....

  • I love his poetry can you please translate it in English. Thanks.

  • thank u it is wonderfull thank u thank u thank u

  • Beautiful song ever

  • The central theme and message in Rumi's poems is the smelting of human into the creator by unconditional love - what results in the reunion of human and divine - leading to the consequence that every being is from divine origin, what mankind has forgotten.

  • Beautifully put, exactly right!

  • Beautifull. I wish I could speake the language so I could understand more. can anyone help to translate this into english it would mean so much to me! thank you.

  • i can help you translate but the original value will be lost...the structure of languages are different...it's hard to translate some words because they're specific to one culture and don't exist in another.

  • We think nothing of but LOVE in its most supreme form,

    aoa

  • do any one has this in english or urdu language

thank you still is beautiful in this also but it more to understand what is singing thanks

  • these paintings of the persian women and musicians are fabulous!

  • That is so rude, disgusting and unfair of you to say leader2007.

The Pashtuns werent always like this, and not ALL of them are like this now. This is a direct result of the filthy, evil Saudi-exported crap.

Traditional Pashtuns, even traditional TALIBAN, were nothing like this. They've never been the most intellectual or forward-thinking people, thats true, but so what? They were decent enough.

The normal Pashtuns are the biggest victims of this death cult, more than any other people.

  • Muslimah1987: Indeed.

  • @Muslimah1987 Fuck Saudi Wahabism.

  • Could someone please provide a translation for this beautiful poem...I dont think it's the same one as the one in the description.

  • I LOVE HIM!!!

    WOW BEAUTIFULL POEM!

  • He was born in Balkh (Afghanistan)

  • That poem is supposed to be from Rumi?

Very strange... I know Rumi as a very tolerant broad-minded friend of god. I think the Jews and Christs and all those who didn't define themselves over any religious zealousy visiting rumis burial speak more about this man than this poem.

  • Beautiful!

  • very very big snd beatiful Rumi

  • Rumi is an AFghan!!

  • ur ass is afghan only

  • he dosen belong to anybody ...hes not from east or west....hes not from this world....so bahs nakon.....bahs nakonid hichkodom arzeshe zadane in harfaro nadarid....so keep silence...:)

  • Don't get angry friend. Bask in your secret knowledge.

  • Sufism, Islam, Shiism, etc., all are same, all are branches of Islam, all are mind controller, slave creator.

About Rumi, He always been Iranian, he remains Iranian, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, all were pare of Iran, on time of his living, therefore he cannot be claimed otherwise. There was no Persia, Persia is WRONG term that been used by Herodotus, because he only could see tip of his nose from Rome where he was sitting

  • his Name was Mawlana Jalalludin Balkhi Rumi....Balkh is in Afghanistan...which in that time was Persia. So Technically Rumi was Persian...not Iranian..he is more Afghan than Iranian...but as a technicality he was persian.

  • not to insult you or to create unneeded discussions, but its a fact that afghan means pashtun. Pashtuns are different from persians, so rumi cant be called afghan/pashtun. He spoke persian, was persian as you say. Also persia is a western name (copied from greece and romans) given for Ancient Iran. Khorasan was the cultural hart of ancient Iran.

  • Rumi was not an afghan. You see afghans are partly Mongolian, and Mongolians did not invade Iran at the time of rumi, they did after rumi. Also Afghanistan is a new country(1747AD).It was Iranian land and the Iranian incompetent king lost it to nomads from north who invaded that land. There is no such thing as Persian.Iran is all there is and its language is Parsi and others.Rumi was a pure Iranian who lived in modern day afghanistan which was IRANIAN LAND,not AFGHAN land.Hence he spoke IRANIAN.

  • just for your information afghans are not all "PART MONGOLIAN" so educate yourself more in depth before embarrassing yourself and your people by posting ignorant comments. Rumi Was a Mystic...he knew not of Race, Gender, Sex, Religion or Belief...he was not an iranian or an afghan..he was Rumi

  • you should read more carefully. He said "partly" and not "Part"."Partly" means that some part of the country are."Part" means they are ALL part-Mongolian. Besides i would bet my life that if Rumi was a negative person all of you fags would have said he was Iranian right away, and none of you would say "oh yeah he belongs to all of us, no borders for him".So please Fuck off and dont try to fucking steal the glory of a nation simply because you cant match him. He was Iranian, fucking accept it.

  • calm down theres no reason for you to get involved or upset...you should know that you stress yourself for no reason...your words mean nothing to me. i dont know you nor are you important to me in any way...love. live. and fuck your mom. =] peace!

  • LOL so much for you not making fun of yourself and "Your People" haha.

    Have a good day moron.

  • lol get a life where the hell did you get into this? ur hella bekarr!

  • I was gonna explain the difference to your illiterate ass,but phalanxQTPR explained it.Forget the whole mystic thing okay, thats just nonsense talk people feed you these days to sell their ideas and books to people like you. Rumi never wanted to be worshiped like he is today.Mowlana was a Muslim man from Ancient Iran and not a god. Also he was quite firm about his country Iran, and his language Parsi, as he identifies himself with the two several times in his work.Seems YOU need some education son.

  • it doesn't matter where rumi is from? he taught universal LOVE,the Oneness of Humanity,he did not care about color or race or religion........ Rumi = complete human being

  • brother you are right, he was a mystic, not confined by any lines~

  • Greate PERSIAN POET- PERSIAN EMPIRE RULLS

    PERSIA/IRAN: LAND OF GENIOUS

    Thank you for posting

  • subhanallah!

  • beziar ziba, dorood be shoma

  • It is obviously something beyond what your little brain can absorb. You're on the wrong page. Go back to MTV's the Jackass pages.

  • 'Tis poetry, DoomMoofy aka احمق

Apparently something you cannot understand; so leave it be and say no more.

  • As Salaam,ya as salaam,Al Dunya?Dunya ya Dunya,Salaam ya salaam.

  • What is this talking about history and who is who and who is what? Everything that rises will fall, does it matter how? Religions and empires have come and gone, does it matter why? Forget that and the other thing and be this "this" does not rise or fall, this is boundless and free and does not divide, dose not say "mine" or "yours". Be this.

  • Rumi has written the greatest poetry.

  • People!

Iran/Persia didn't become shia untill the 15 hundreds through the safavids. before that they were sunnis,so don't mix up history.

  • why is this video not working anymore! :( please fix it :( thank you

  • What do women's pictures have to do with the poetry of Rumi?

  • Love

  • WOW!!!!!!!! BAH BAH.XXX

  • it's so relaxing, thx for that... god bless his soul.....

  • you are the best.

  • Any one knows the singers name ????

  • سپاسگزارم

  • Rumijon?

  • Super, perfecto, che Ziba...

  • Very nice clip.

May Allah Forgive Me And Bless You.

  • i am filled with you Rumi

  • very nice i love it,, keep up.. thanks

  • Yes he preached that...Indeed.

But he goes beyond more mature state...where woman with dress or music is nothing.

Human race stands face to face with their lord and LOVE...What more u can ask for.

    Did Muhammed(pbuh)taught any different?

    LOVE HUMAN-LOVE ALL,

What is the the Verse before every Sura? LOVE my friend LOVE...May Allah Show us all the enlightment.

  • yes he did. I am a muslim. And anyone can understand that to love must also mean to hate. Do you love the kafir who wants to destroy your religion? Muhamad saw during ramadhan would make the dua, "oh allah kill the disbelievers who fight you" I can kill on the battle field and it is the best act of love for allah, it is true ibadat to die for allah. this is not ibadat. You are worshipping your own vanity

  • No my friend. Allah can forgive anyone whom ever Allah want's. Allah loves Even G. Bush...Hate is the mother of terrorism and Allah forbid that.

Jihad is legal- as a last option, and needs certain conditions...I'm sorry to tell you even in USA no body is going to kill you just because u take the name of ALLAH.

If I'm in the wrong path PRAY FOR ME.

  • Brother, open your eyes. The Crusader history is reviving, the US is committing genocide on your muslim brothers and sisters. The muslims are used as pawns to control dar al Islam. Tasawuf without Sharia is heresy. Imam Malik Said that. Islam is total, our worship becomes stronger the harder the task. May Allah help us ameen
