Sorry, but that's just plain wrong. Hermeneutics, Systematic Theology and Church History do not ALL AGREE on anything. Hermeneutics is human interpretation. You're not saying that humans are infallible are you? Also, you did not answer my question re original language. Do you not know the language Yeshua spoke? Yeshua never, ever, said the word HATE. My own future is banked on this message. It is more important than comfortable living, secure retirement and being remembered. I believe in God, and that His perfection demands perfect living I cannot attain. I believe that Jesus and His sacrifice is the only adequate payment for my wrongdoings AND that He helps me today to move in a direction of better living despite my deep-seated inclination to do otherwise. I am not at all sold the Sola Fide (by faith alone) argument. EG. You don't need to fix yourself, you can't, keep raping and murdering and it will all be okay as long as you believe solely in Jesus. @Dedvserv You can find the two key points to what you are searching for in Mark 1:15. The two things are REPENT and BELIEVE. Unfortunately, the vid only addressed the BELIEVE part. You need to REPENT from your sins. When you repent, you will want to keep God's commands, cos breaking them simply means you have not repented. We as fallen creatures cannot keep His commands by our own strength. Therefore, we need to be born again and only thru the help of Holy Spirit, will we be able to do so.

I love this vid! I really like the boldness of declaring Christ as God which is rarely heard. Many times people refer to a nameless God that can easily be confused with a god. According to my understanding of the Word belief alone is not the all encompassing factor of salvation. When we look at the bible we must be sure to understand who's talking, who their audience is, and what message is trying to be conveyed and the time period in which the writing is speaking of.
I can simplify it even more. Throw away the bull crap and mysticism and you have a very simple scheme of things. The fact is ,as i see it, every one knows in some subconscious whether their actions have been good or bad and upon death metaphysical pathways open up their true view of themselves as a final reflection. From there more metaphysical pathways leave your fading conscious with a residual felling of pleasure or anguish. That is not to say some entity that is god is not at work

@MrJcis1 Regardless of who we are or what we believe, God is going to give us a chance to be with Him right until the last moment. He loves us that much and wants everyone to spend eternity with Him. Salvation is up to Him and He will hold it out to us until the last nano second because we are precious to Him.

Throughout the entire bible we're told that Jesus the one and only Son Of God (not the trinitarian "God the Son" as is never mentioned in scriptures) clearly makes distinctions between Himself and His Father who art in heaven as he taught us to pray. John 17:3, 20:17, 14:28. Although through inheritance (Heb 1:3,4) he is the express image of God, I believe not once do the scriptures say he sent himself.

If Jesus indeed was God He would have sent Himself, not let someone send Him. Interesting thought, a lot of times we are speaking in a way that lines up with biblical principle. Even though it does not specifically say it, there is enough scriptures that support it. Kind of like the Trinity. Nowhere is this word in the Bible but it is truth.

@compendiumgravemind i'd say sin accelerates death, like smoking, gluttony, etc... and certainly suicide is overwhelmingly a sin and brings death, i base this on NDE, near death experiences that cite many hellish experiences and being punished for killing themselves, but i wonder if this happens for the worst cases - terminal with massive pain... maybe the most selfish suicidals get the punishment treatment in the afterlife...

I am not at all sold the Sola Fide (by faith alone) argument. EG. You don't need to fix yourself, you can't, keep raping and murdering and it will all be okay as long as you believe solely in Jesus. How does this make sense? What God allows this? Many enlightened Christian theologians reject this interpretation and replace it with by "Faith AND Charity" which in the old days meant loving acts. Evolution is supported by a wide range of observations throughout the fields of genetics, anatomy, ecology,etc.If you wish to challenge the theory of evolution, you must address that evidence.You must show that the evidence is either wrong or irrelevant or that it fits another theory better. Of course, to do this, you must know both the theory and the evidence.

The universe, however, had a begining, something the scientists have confirmed.
So who threw the switch? answer God. Something had to exist which is eternal and beyond the confines of time, space, "natural" law. That is God.you need to start thinking away from the idea that god is an old man on a cloud. That is a christian view of God not mine.

@Dedvserv You can find the two key points to what you are searching for in Mark 1:15. The two things are REPENT and BELIEVE. Unfortunately, the vid only addressed the BELIEVE part. You need to REPENT from your sins. When you repent, you will want to keep God's commands, cos breaking them simply means you have not repented. We as fallen creatures cannot keep His commands by our own strength. Therefore, we need to be born again and only thru the help of Holy Spirit, will we be able to do so.

I love this vid! I really like the boldness of declaring Christ as God which is rarely heard. Many times people refer to a nameless God that can easily be confused with a god. According to my understanding of the Word belief alone is not the all encompassing factor of salvation. When we look at the bible we must be sure to understand who's talking, who their audience is, and what message is trying to be conveyed and the time period in which the writing is speaking of.

The bible says Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." So if your wrong then you would be dangerously wrong. But if your correct and there is some entity that is God that has made provision through his Son, I would want to be harmlessly wrong and accept His sacrifice He made on the cross in my place. The bible says when we accept the sacrifice He has provided for us our names out written in the book of life...

@MrJcis1 Regardless of who we are or what we believe, God is going to give us a chance to be with Him right until the last moment. He loves us that much and wants everyone to spend eternity with Him. Salvation is up to Him and He will hold it out to us until the last nano second because we are precious to Him.

This is a great video, and yes we must believe in Christ to be saved, but we must first REPENT of our sins. We must humble ourselves, agree with God that we are wrong- (SINNERS). What a fantastic video! Praise to The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost! The Lord gave us everything and we through our own free will chose to destroy His perfection, and yet He still loved us. Then He sends Himself as Jesus The perfect man, not as a king or in riches, but as a humble servant, to save us from our own destructive path. @MrJcis1 Thanks. Although im well aware of the false roman catholic doctrine of the trinity. Throughout the entire bible we're told that Jesus the one and only Son Of God (not the trinitarian "God the Son" as is never mentioned in scriptures) clearly makes distinctions between Himself and His Father who art in heaven as he taught us to pray. John 17:3, 20:17, 14:28. Although through inheritance (Heb 1:3,4) he is the express image of God, I believe not once do the scriptures say he sent himself.

If Jesus indeed was God He would have sent Himself, not let someone send Him. Interesting thought, a lot of times we are speaking in a way that lines up with biblical principle. Even though it does not specifically say it, there is enough scriptures that support it. Kind of like the Trinity. Nowhere is this word in the Bible but it is truth.

@glorp896 still so. sin in anyway shape or form does not bring death. ironicly im some cases sin can lead to death. a person who sins a lusts for drugs, wile of obtaining such items in turn gets killed by a drug dealer then yes... sin kills... however what one person finds sinful another finds virtue. its all opinons. there are no morals. only what socity allows without judgement or punishment. at one time it was more normal getting married at 12 then ever before once and now is not.

@compendiumgravemind i'd say sin accelerates death, like smoking, gluttony, etc... and certainly suicide is overwhelmingly a sin and brings death, i base this on NDE, near death experiences that cite many hellish experiences and being punished for killing themselves, but i wonder if this happens for the worst cases - terminal with massive pain... maybe the most selfish suicidals get the punishment treatment in the afterlife...
- i think sin can be quantified, at least in terms of probability...

@compendiumgravemind you are actually just right as to the marriage age, because one state, NEW HAMPSHIRE, allows 13 year old girls to be married... the boy has to be 14 and the parents must consent... and several states have marriage laws below the usual age of consent which is 18, but this also is lower in some states... most states its 18 or a bit below, 16, but well above 12, minus NH... a sinful state of course ;)
