I wish the subtitles or there were subtitles in English but then there is not English in the description so I guess I can understand why there are none. Anyway the point is I really, really liked this. I did not think Opera singers could be so attractive, I sterotype them wrongly in my mind to be fat, ugly but have excellent voices. This is not to say fat people are ugly. The point is Kafyman is both attractive in body and in voice and talent. The gypsy chick is good too.

. ma come si fa a definirla un soprano?? caspita ma cosa capite di voci?? è un puro mezzosoprano, considerando , certo, che ha solo 25 anni, la vera maturità vocale arriverà, anche se dimostra una sicurezza ed una solidità invidiabili, sappiate che ha fatto tutte le prove , dico tutte (e in un grande teatro se ne fano molte, per fortuna!)in voce.

Anche se per ora manca di fascino (secondo me, come attrice), adoro la voce!!!!!!! e sono molto contenta che sarà a Verona quest'anno, spero in un altro grande applauso perché ha un grande potenziale!

I like the end of this scene where Carmen puts on the coat and looks at Don Jose with a challenge, cigar in her mouth. Cool! He is a great actor, he stands there as a doomed man, who knows he has lost his life to her and therefore full of rage. And how he picked up the flower! I wonder, is Jonas really such a good actor or he is Don Jose in his essence? He said in the interview that the role is kind of psychotherapy to him, a way to release the hidden aggression. I like him anyway.
