Really old. Mickey Mouse's debut was in the short-film Steamboat Willie which premiered on 1928. Timeless River (the world) is present in the KH Universe so I'm assuming Mickey is 78 years old in KH2 and 67 years old in BBS.

@aquapearlvoice89 to be more accurate, ven theme is the combination of roxas and sora them. the beginning have roxas them and at around 0:58 it have sora theme in it.
Sora was born just as Vens heart was split by Xehanort and with vens heart being shattered, newborn sora then found a way into vens heart and fused his heart with vens to repair it.... so thats why sora has command of a keyblade.. Also when sora was split, roxas couldn't take soras body, he took vens, so soras heart was split into 2 instead...... Roxas gained vens heart but since vens heart was once again shattered, he suffered memory loss about being Ven and began a new life as roxas
@NextaroS Not really sure. All i know is that Ventus is from the past, when Sora and Riku where just little kids. Then in the future Sora's nobody is Roxas who looks exactly like Ventus. i won almost all the KH games and i think i should know why by now. They might explain it in KH: drea drop distance or KH3.

Okay, so basically how I understand it is like this: At the end of Birth By Sleep, Ven's heart merged into Sora's heart. That's probably why he can use the Keyblade. When Sora released Kairi's heart (whose was also residing in Sora's heart), Sora turned into a heartless and Roxas was created. When Kairi's heart was released, Ven's was probably also released and the nearest person he could reside in next was Roxas'. That's also probably why Roxas has a heart and can feel.
@xionglacie You got it, except Roxas only has half a heart, due to Master Xehanort taking away the dark side of Ventus and only leaving the light damaged heart left which merged with Sora at the beginning of BbS. That must also be why he couldn't remember anything after becoming a Nobody, where as the other Organization members could remember everything from their past life.
I thought this. Suppose than a person is made by a heart,a body and a soul,nobody have a soul and a body. When Roxas was born probably he had Sora's soul..but..when Sora returned himself thanks to Kairi..Roxas was not supposed to just disappear? Instead he became a new "person"different of Sora..Because maybe he have Ven's heart? But..it isn't a only thing with Sora's heart? Then..how is possible that Roxas exist and CRY?! @ChibiSaretta Actually Roxas seems to be Ventus's Nobody... BUT! He isn't a normal nobody because he still have an heart. I can't find a definitive explanation to this until some new game will come out. Probably Sora will save both Terra, Ventus and Aqua, at least. Maybe they want to save Axel too, but I can't imagine how it would be possible.

@ChibiSaretta Actually, Roxas is in fact Sora's nobody..but due to the fact part of Ven's heart was in Sora, his nobody (Roxas) took a very similar. appearance of Ven. It's believed that Roxas can feel and is an exceptional Nobody because of Ven's heart in Sora is believed to have went into Roxas when he was created.
So because of the epic battles that occurred in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Terra was succumbed by darkness, Aqua tried to save Terra, but in doing so she remained in the Realm of Darkness, while Ven heart had an internal fight between himself and Vanitas, which was Ven dark side. However, it is so sad that Ven won a pyrrhic victory, and now his heart relies of Roxas. Hope his heart is restored completely in KHIII.

Quite frankly beautiful and touching music combined with one of the most moving story lines in gaming history with stunning visuals has made Kingdom Hearts the truly phenomenal piece of art (and i put emphasis on the art, as this is like no other game) and maybe one day will be better recognized for what it truly is as this can move any person as much as any drawing on a canvas.
@hercludes I've played through the MGS series myself, (all the ones available on the Core playstation consoles anyway) and despite the story being good it's general characters haven't quite the emotion of Kingdom hearts characters, despite and i fully agree Big bosses death is pretty damn sad, i just find the ending to kingdom hearts bbs just downright tragic! i mean come on, technically everybody dies :L
@05smooney Yeah, but you have to remember that Kingdom Hearts is more cartoonish and anime then realistic, were MGS is in a more serious tone and actually teaches themes. It also is much more serious and raises the question if what happened in MGS is possible in the future.

@05smooney It's in a more serious tone, it does ask the question of that it is very possible that what you see is possible, with cloning, advance technology, ect. Even if you were right about magic not already being invented and Japan inventing it, remember that Japan follows a system of honor. I severely doubt that they would abuse it. Also, "the door to pure darkness..." that's something to do with KH, not MGS. Does KH display hand-to-hand military style combat in various terrains? Nupe.
@hercludes It does however feature Keyblade to Various enemy combat thing in various location, allow me to give some as examples. Inside a giant whale, The end of all the worlds, that place where the lion king lives y'know the pride lands, inside a spaceship with stitch, inside a big multicoloured heart inside a big cold steam punk castle (hollow bastion), Twilight town, Traverse town, A COLLOSEUM, Atlantas, London, Tarzans jungle and wonderland. I look for quantity, not quality in combat. :3
@05smooney Well, quality > quantity is a good thing. Anyways, I was talking about more realisticly. Anyways, MGS is the grand father of all Stealth Espionage games. It came out a long time ago with Metal Gear on the MSX, then Metal Gear 2, then Metal Gear Solid, ect. If you haven't played these old games you won't harbor much of a like towards it. Anyways, while I liked the game KH, it was just too easy, if something was a bit hard I'd just level up a couple times and go and kick ass. :/

Example, Raiden is Solidus's adopted orphan who he trains to become a soldier. Solidus is Old Boss's perfect clone, and is the President during MGS 1, not only that but Big Boss himself gets parts from Solidus when he is badly injured because Solidus is so closely identical to Big Boss. Raiden is the main character in the second game, and encounters Snake. Raiden
Ok, so your talking about things realistically but, really this is shaving down to personal preference, and whether you enjoy the more beautiful fantasy side of gaming or the more serious themed side of gaming, now Metal gear solid may be the grandfather of stealth espionage but that's because there's barely any other games like it with such a large cult following which can compete. Kingdom hearts is hugely succeful in a massive market, where there are hundreds of games like it.
@hercludes However kingdom hearts is now still one of the most successful RPG's to date, and i realize that MGS has in depth characters however, they are portrayed to be more military (would you not agree) and this is why i favour Kingdom hearts characters. Each kingdom hearts character has a beautiful and epic story behind them, whether they're sqaure enix/soft born or not. To me the adventures and toils that characters like Sora go through carry allot more emotion and allot more touching.
@05smooney I agree with the RPG, but not as much with Sora being more emotional and touching. Swinging a keyblade at heartless and nobodies isn't really convincing or emotional.
@05smooney then later becomes a cyborg, I forgot how :\, but anyways when he becomes a cyborg he helps out Snake later on in the game. They are currently making a game called Metal Gear Solid: Rising, featuring Raiden as the main character, where you can actually play as him and learn more about him.
Raiden also means Thunder God, which is the basis of Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Lightning Bolt Fast-Paced action or something similar to that. I could go on for a long time about this, but I'll stop
I Personally think that When Sora became a heartless in kingdom hearts 1, he kept his heart, but ven's heart, which may have healed by that point, created RoXas and stayed with Roxas, which sort of explains why Roxas feels as if he has a heart
correction. Ven never actually lost his heart per say, it was damaged, it took residence in Sora as Sora's heart was strong enough to heal it. Thusly when Sora had a nobody it took the physical form of Ven but had it's own set of emotions a.k.a Roxas. Jeez I haven't even played all the games through and I know this. >_>

Now instead of coming up with theories as to how Roxas, Ven and Sora are all inter-connected, we should all realize we share a common bond: We love them all and Kingdom Hearts is truly an amazing thing.

That's the great thing about Kingdom Hearts; the soundtracks of all them are so good, it's as if they also tell stories. Motifs, recurring themes, etc are the norm.
@Dragonquester01 I would treat Ven and Sora as separate individuals. Since Ven lost his darkness in his heart, his heart was damaged and thus shared some of it with Sora for now. I think he lost his heart after defeating Vanitas which later merged completely with Sora from what I understand. Since Sora later becomes a heartless in KH1 for some reason his Nobody took Ven's appearance, maybe because Ven's heart was with Sora all along. Well at least that's how I see it anyway. :)
Ven's heart went to Roxas, because Sora's heart was gone & Ven's was not. So Ven's heart went to Roxas, that's why Roxas looks & sounds like Ven. & That's also why Roxas alwways thought he had a heart, because he had Ven's all along.

you have most of it right but i think that when sora is turned into a heartless ventus's heart returns to his body in castle oblivion. aqua creates the castle as a safe haven for ventus and xemnas mentions at some point that roxas was from castle oblivion. i think that roxas is ventus's body, wht was left of ventus's heart and whtever is taken from sora to create a nobody, a fraction of his heart or copies of his memories. that's y roxas seems to feel even though supposedly doesn't have a heart.
@taxsuin Yeah. Ven's heart went to Sora. Sora became heartless. Roxas, his nobody was created. Sora's "spare" heart, Ven's heart, went to roxas. Roxas became whole and looks like Ven. That's basically what happened.

The similarities of their themes isn't coincidence, their similar for a reason. The reason is because when Roxas was created he got Ven's heart after Sora released his own heart to wake up Kairi, which is why Roxas looks like Ven. So you could say in a sense Roxas WAS Ven, reborn as Sora's nobody but we all know Roxas is still his own person because we know Sora's gonna rescue Ven from his sleep and return his heart in KH3. The question is will Ven have Roxas' memo

Coincidentally, Sora, Roxas, and Ventus have all "slept" at Castle Oblivion.
Sora for a year while regaining his memories, Ventus is still there, and Roxas when he passed out there.

Okay, so basically how I understand it is like this: At the end of Birth By Sleep, Ven's heart merged into Sora's heart. That's probably why he can use the Keyblade. When Sora released Kairi's heart (whose was also residing in Sora's heart), Sora turned into a heartless and Roxas was created. When Kairi's heart was released, Ven's was probably also released and the nearest person he could reside in next was Roxas'. That's also probably why Roxas has a heart and can feel.

@xionglacie You got it, except Roxas only has half a heart, due to Master Xehanort taking away the dark side of Ventus and only leaving the light damaged heart left which merged with Sora at the beginning of BbS. That must also be why he couldn't remember anything after becoming a Nobody, where as the other Organization members could remember everything from their past life.

I thought this. Suppose than a person is made by a heart,a body and a soul,nobody have a soul and a body. When Roxas was born probably he had Sora's soul..but..when Sora returned himself thanks to Kairi..Roxas was not supposed to just disappear? Instead he became a new "person"different of Sora..Because maybe he have Ven's heart? But..it isn't a only thing with Sora's heart? Then..how is possible that Roxas exist and CRY?! I hope that Roxas had Ven's soul. Because if it is so..Roxas can BE Ven..

@ChibiSaretta Actually Roxas seems to be Ventus's Nobody... BUT! He isn't a normal nobody because he still have an heart. I can't find a definitive explanation to this until some new game will come out. Probably Sora will save both Terra, Ventus and Aqua, at least. Maybe they want to save Axel too, but I can't imagine how it would be possible.

@ChibiSaretta Actually, Roxas is in fact Sora's nobody..but due to the fact part of Ven's heart was in Sora, his nobody (Roxas) took a very similar. appearance of Ven. It's believed that Roxas can feel and is an exceptional Nobody because of Ven's heart in Sora is believed to have went into Roxas when he was created.

So because of the epic battles that occurred in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Terra was succumbed by darkness, Aqua tried to save Terra, but in doing so she remained in the Realm of Darkness, while Ven heart had an internal fight between himself and Vanitas, which was Ven dark side. However, it is so sad that Ven won a pyrrhic victory, and now his heart relies of Roxas. Hope his heart is restored completely in KHIII.

Quite frankly beautiful and touching music combined with one of the most moving story lines in gaming history with stunning visuals has made Kingdom Hearts the truly phenomenal piece of art (and i put emphasis on the art, as this is like no other game) and maybe one day will be better recognized for what it truly is as this can move any person as much as any drawing on a canvas.

@hercludes I've played through the MGS series myself, (all the ones available on the Core playstation consoles anyway) and despite the story being good it's general characters haven't quite the emotion of Kingdom hearts characters, despite and i fully agree Big bosses death is pretty damn sad, i just find the ending to kingdom hearts bbs just downright tragic! i mean come on, technically everybody dies :L

@05smooney Yeah, but you have to remember that Kingdom Hearts is more cartoonish and anime then realistic, were MGS is in a more serious tone and actually teaches themes. It also is much more serious and raises the question if what happened in MGS is possible in the future.

@05smooney It's in a more serious tone, it does ask the question of that it is very possible that what you see is possible, with cloning, advance technology, ect. Even if you were right about magic not already being invented and Japan inventing it, remember that Japan follows a system of honor. I severely doubt that they would abuse it. Also, "the door to pure darkness..." that's something to do with KH, not MGS. Does KH display hand-to-hand military style combat in various terrains? Nupe.

@hercludes It does however feature Keyblade to Various enemy combat thing in various location, allow me to give some as examples. Inside a giant whale, The end of all the worlds, that place where the lion king lives y'know the pride lands, inside a spaceship with stitch, inside a big multicoloured heart inside a big cold steam punk castle (hollow bastion), Twilight town, Traverse town, A COLLOSEUM, Atlantas, London, Tarzans jungle and wonderland. I look for quantity, not quality in combat. :3

@05smooney Well, quality > quantity is a good thing. Anyways, I was talking about more realisticly. Anyways, MGS is the grand father of all Stealth Espionage games. It came out a long time ago with Metal Gear on the MSX, then Metal Gear 2, then Metal Gear Solid, ect. If you haven't played these old games you won't harbor much of a like towards it. Anyways, while I liked the game KH, it was just too easy, if something was a bit hard I'd just level up a couple times and go and kick ass. :/

Example, Raiden is Solidus's adopted orphan who he trains to become a soldier. Solidus is Old Boss's perfect clone, and is the President during MGS 1, not only that but Big Boss himself gets parts from Solidus when he is badly injured because Solidus is so closely identical to Big Boss. Raiden is the main character in the second game, and encounters Snake. Raiden

Ok, so your talking about things realistically but, really this is shaving down to personal preference, and whether you enjoy the more beautiful fantasy side of gaming or the more serious themed side of gaming, now Metal gear solid may be the grandfather of stealth espionage but that's because there's barely any other games like it with such a large cult following which can compete. Kingdom hearts is hugely succeful in a massive market, where there are hundreds of games like it.

@hercludes However kingdom hearts is now still one of the most successful RPG's to date, and i realize that MGS has in depth characters however, they are portrayed to be more military (would you not agree) and this is why i favour Kingdom hearts characters. Each kingdom hearts character has a beautiful and epic story behind them, whether they're sqaure enix/soft born or not. To me the adventures and toils that characters like Sora go through carry allot more emotion and allot more touching.

They are currently making a game called Metal Gear Solid: Rising, featuring Raiden as the main character, where you can actually play as him and learn more about him.
Raiden also means Thunder God, which is the basis of Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Lightning Bolt Fast-Paced action or something similar to that. I could go on for a long time about this, but I'll stop

I Personally think that When Sora became a heartless in kingdom hearts 1, he kept his heart, but ven's heart, which may have healed by that point, created RoXas and stayed with Roxas, which sort of explains why Roxas feels as if he has a heart

correction. Ven never actually lost his heart per say, it was damaged, it took residence in Sora as Sora's heart was strong enough to heal it. Thusly when Sora had a nobody it took the physical form of Ven but had it's own set of emotions a.k.a Roxas. Jeez I haven't even played all the games through and I know this. >_>

@Dragonquester01 I would treat Ven and Sora as separate individuals. Since Ven lost his darkness in his heart, his heart was damaged and thus shared some of it with Sora for now. I think he lost his heart after defeating Vanitas which later merged completely with Sora from what I understand. Since Sora later becomes a heartless in KH1 for some reason his Nobody took Ven's appearance, maybe because Ven's heart was with Sora all along. Well at least that's how I see it anyway. :)

Ven's heart went to Roxas, because Sora's heart was gone & Ven's was not. So Ven's heart went to Roxas, that's why Roxas looks & sounds like Ven. & That's also why Roxas alwways thought he had a heart, because he had Ven's all along.

@jonx2sam05 Almost right. In fact, Roxas IS Ven, since when Sora became a heartless, the "empty shell" that eventually becomes a Nobody if the Persona had a strong enough will that was left was Ven. Roxas isn't like the other Nobodies because he is technically not a Nobody, since he has a heart. This means that Roxas is just Ven that was ejected out of Sora when he lost his heart, with his own heart included. Sorry if it's confusing ^^"

you have most of it right but i think that when sora is turned into a heartless ventus's heart returns to his body in castle oblivion. aqua creates the castle as a safe haven for ventus and xemnas mentions at some point that roxas was from castle oblivion. i think that roxas is ventus's body, wht was left of ventus's heart and whtever is taken from sora to create a nobody, a fraction of his heart or copies of his memories. that's y roxas seems to feel even though supposedly doesn't have a heart.

The similarities of their themes isn't coincidence, their similar for a reason. The reason is because when Roxas was created he got Ven's heart after Sora released his own heart to wake up Kairi, which is why Roxas looks like Ven. So you could say in a sense Roxas WAS Ven, reborn as Sora's nobody but we all know Roxas is still his own person because we know Sora's gonna rescue Ven from his sleep and return his heart in KH3. The question is will Ven have Roxas' memo
