I just knew he died... It was a shock, I was reading "he was" and " he did" and could not just fuckin believe it. A truly guitar hero, and a singer, not a great voice, but his voice. RIP.
Every time you listening to Gary's music he always played the solos a different way, you learn one version then you hear another and he has played something total different in certain parts, totally been able to improvise the way he did & sound so good, you learned something different all the time, this is what makes him the best that ever was!!! R.I.P you and your music will never be forgotten.....
Gary Moore was a musician and guitar player who truly deserves the accolade of a "rock and blues great". He was one of "few" guitar players in the world who combined a beautiul guitar tone with creative, melodic licks, beautiful vibratos, and lightening fast leads where each note of the melody could be heard. This shows Gary at his finest: fluid guitar playing alternating between slow, melodic licks, and lightening-fast runs. A guitar hero who belongs in the rock & blues hall of fame. RIP
this is history .Hate to say this!!!:BUT you fucking retards we don't care about your sexual orientation or any of your stereotypes it's just music and maybe that music was born before most of you ware born .....excuse my grammar not american
is it me or is that not the same les paul the peter green used to own??? "used" being the word here!! but gary has changed the neck pick up back to its original position!!! in other videos of this guitar it has been around the other way to get so called output!!!! look for your selves!!!!!
Unfortunately no kidding. The thing with Still got the blues can be looked up in the internet. The lawsuit against Gary lasted for some years. Anyone can also see Nordrach perform the Original music on You Tube.

Gary is very great. But a great stealer of music also: this song is a ripp-off of Roy Buchanan, "Still got the Blues" is 95% stolen from the German Band Nordrach; this is official: Gary now has to pay them money.- he still is allowed to perform "Still Got The Blues" nevertheless.
Thanks for posting Mr Murray. Have sorta followed your career...Gary Moore is the No 1 guitarist as far as I'm concerned, so I followed you there. I managed to get a beer out of David C overdale when I saw you guys at the Colston Hall Bristol in the early 80s and we were (and Jon Lord) in the bar escaping Magnum, your support band on the night. Always thought that line up was the best - more bluesy. Seen the current line up - not for me. Maybe I'm gettin' old. Hey,,,like I care. Cheers.
so what your gay . i never said owt about that it was not me i dont give a fuck about gays . i just dont like gary moore the man is the biggest cunt in music . look what he did to peter green . he really dose hate him .
you stupid boy!!! i'm not gay and never gave any indication!!! just goes to show how fuckin stupid you are!! no taste in music no taste in humanity and no taste in life!!!!! YOU ARE THE CUNT !!!!!!!!
Gary Moore went to see Fleetwood Mac play in Dublin when he was a teenager.
He became a prodigy of Peter Green and when Peter became pissed off with the music business, he "sold" his 1959 sunburst Gibson Les Paul to Gary and that is the Guitar he can be seen playing.
I went to the Blues for Greeny concert at the Hammersmith Odeon and it is the ONLY gig I have been to that I was approached outside by a ticket tote who tried to BUY my tickets from me.
BTW Gary was at his very best when you were the bassist! Parisienne Walkways, Empty Rooms, and Still Got the Blues in particular will never be topped and hold a very special place in my music shrine. Thank you for posting and best to you!

Does he need to be a fantastic singer? I don't think he does.
