It was full of kids; their training for Saddam's Republican Guard started with their kidnapping and brainwashing as children, as well as many other uses they had by being imprisoned. I dont understand why the Interim Iraqi Government didn't form a Federal Republic when they were given the chance. That would allow limited autonomy to all areas, but they still have to answer to the central federal Government. Then everyone would be happier.

Kurdistan is an autonomous region that has no link to the central Iraq government. we have our own economy, language, flag, culture and military. our constitution is also different. and if the Kurds want the USA to stay in Kurdish territories then no other country can legally prevent it. and no they are not, in fact some months ago they established a permanent military base near Dukan. there are rummers that they will build military air base too like that of Ancharlik.

I've read a book by a Marine Corps chaplain telling how he witnessed a prison being liberated in Iraq. It was full of kids; their training for Saddam's Republican Guard started with their kidnapping and brainwashing as children, as well as many other uses they had by being imprisoned. That we are at war is regrettable, but the good that could be done and is being done in Iraq is wonderful

almost makes you cry. Coming from a family who survived the holocaust this makes me feel that action is taken to try rid the world from evil and help those in need.

Contrary to media propaganda and news filtering, most Iraqis, not just the Kurds, feel the same way. Most of the resistance we face isn't Iraqi resistance at all, but a majority is committed by Iranian and Syrian fighters. I'm not just another armchair politician speaking either. I studied in Iraq for 2 years in college, and I'm back again as a US Army Infantryman. This is all first hand info, so let's see how long it takes for some Michael Moore brainwashed clown to question my honesty.

My husband recently went to NTC to further train b4 going to Iraq. The Kurds are here in America to help our soldiers understand the culture and language, and to provide "real world" situations so that our guys can come home safely. I feel sorry for the kurds. that they are stuck in the middle of this hellish war. I am all for a kurdistan. thank kurds for helping to train troops in the US.

The news just reported that only 1/3 of the EU support Turkeys bid to get in the EU. HAHAHAH Damn Right! Reasons for that are: they wont accept that they commited genocide against the kurds and they will not give OUR LAND BACK! (cyprus)

it is not your land, there is Cyprus!!! by the way, turkey will refuse Eu membership but EU will run behind Turkey like a dog, as they did in Helsinki Submit 1999, by giving a membership. i mean thats 1500 for every month, thats 12 months a year, for 3 years, thats 54,000 Insurgents dead in the same amount of time it took to kill around 3000 Troops! Now, not every month was the same of course, so lets HALF that number, thats still 27,000 Insurgents vs 3,000 US Troops in a course of 3 years.

They will have independence, as long as the Coalition is there, if I am right there are now 200,000+ Trained Iraqi Security Guards and Troops, which means we might all be out pretty soon. But, hmm who is winning? No one ever seems to report on how many Insurgents died, but here is a quick number. In a 1 month battle, 1500+ Insurgents died, compared to 3 years to kill around 2000 US Troops. So it sounds like the insurgents are losing quite badly with those numbers

I dont understand why the Interim Iraqi Government didn't form a Federal Republic when they were given the chance. That would allow limited autonomy to all areas, but they still have to answer to the central federal Government. Then everyone would be happier.
