Why does this game get so much hate? Honestly i enjoyed it quite a bit. The only thing that could be fixed is everyone's speed and how well the buttons respond. But on the other hand this was a pretty nice game. I really enjoyed it.

So with their way too high urge to please fans SEGA released the game 1 year before it was ready which is why there are so many glitches and a few rushed animations.

He mentioned that SEGA hired Japanese voice directors who didn't know much English to do the English voice direction. Jason said he and the other members was made to repeat the same lines over and over because they didn't think they were good enough, and chose the worse one's because they don't know much English.

This was not the worst game in the world, the story was actually decent, The graphics are just plain gorgeous, and the gameplay is reminiscent of SA2. If the Characters had been a littl more developed botrh in and nout of gameplay and the game-breaking glitches fixed, this would've been a classic.

It's pretty obvious that this game IS Sonic Adventure 3. And sonic unleashed is called sonic world adventure in Japan, so sega basically already made 3 AND 4.
How come nobody likes this game? Okay, it may load a bit long (and there's too many loading screens) but, who cares as long as the story is good! There may be some glitches, but do you go around looking for them just so you can go on the internet and talk shit about the game? I liked the stages, they were beautiful and well designed. The one thing I don't like about the game is when Silver has to beat Iblis for the last time. I kept dying on the last part. So... Yeah I freakin' love this game!

While I found atleast 20 glitches in sa1. @mast3rsword64 Very true that, The spindash basically has no purpose in the game. For example, it takes to long to charge up to take out enemies and two, the spindash gets cancelled if you hit a speed track. :/
@MrShazaamable Agreed. To be honest, i completely forgot I had the spindash 99% of sonics story. I never even tried to attack an enemy with the spindash, because I just assumed it wouldnt do anything lol. Oh well, I guess a shitty spindash is better than no spindash at all.
Wave Ocean brings a strong resemblance to Emerald Coast it really does bring back memories I love the music for this and the Killer Whale returned too which brought back more memories It's been a long time since i played this I could listen to this all day it sounds so calm, peaceful and relaxing definitely Beach music you'd hear in Summer :)

@gridhacker If SEGA ever decided to look back at this game. The only problem I've ever had was the collision detection and Sonic's speed slowing down on speed boosters.
@TysonTH1532 On my copy besides the long loading times and what you said, it lags on hubs and town missions. Sonic will not go to walls (Flame Core, I hate you for this), Rouge will get stuck to them, etc, etc... If they divided their team and while one did S4E2 and the other half did a 06 patch, 2012 would be a pretty good year for Sonic Team.

- physic engine was crap
- overal voiceacting was bad
- charactermodel for Sonic was horrible

@mast3rsword64 i know when i got it recently i was like "Wait.... people HATE THIS GAME?! WHAT THE HELL?!" When i got it a few weeks ago i decailerd (sorry if its mispelled) one of THE BEST GAMES OF ALL TIME! the only things i found annoying is the loading screens and the sonic snowboard level because sonic kept getting stuck.

@BboyStudios97 I personally love the game, and suggest you buy it. Though since most people dislike it, I think you should watch walkthroughs of it on youtube to see if you think you'd like it. That way you'll know exactly what you're getting into.

@Devixicus The funny thing is sa1 was glitchy as hell & I dont see people bitching about that. In fact I found much more glitches in sa1 than 06. TBH I love glitches. They're pretty damn amusing, and give me a good laugh. Glitches aside, the game flat out kicks ass imo, and I think people say it sucks because they just repeat what some idiots say when they never even played it.

@mast3rsword64 The reason why I said Sonic's a good mime is before I went to Wave Ocean, I got stuck in the barrier keeping you away from the other side of town. (On the bridge) I never played the original SA (stupid Dreamcast!), but I know it was very glitchy. I hope the fans don't rush Generations.

@mast3rsword64 Back when this game was new and I was about 7, all I ever heard was this was one of the bext games of all time. Now I hear this is total shit. I play this once, and enjoyed it. I rarely found glitches.

@TysonTH1532 On my copy besides the long loading times and what you said, it lags on hubs and town missions. Sonic will not go to walls (Flame Core, I hate you for this), Rouge will get stuck to them, etc, etc... If they divided their team and while one did S4E2 and the other half did a 06 patch, 2012 would be a pretty good year for Sonic Team.

Although i think that a fan ALWAYS suports the team/character, I mean, you're fan for a reason right? Of course this does not unables you to know what games are good or bad.
This one sadly was an unfortunate one, but like you said it's not the end of the world. And now the games are getting way better, let's just hope things get better and better from now on and that the fanbase starts putting their brains to work.
