uclrichard! Remember me from the live version of Electrolite? We swapped a few comments back and forth. Been awhile hasn't it! I remember you saying your a fan of the older R.E.M. What do you think of this version? Personally, I think it's a very hard song to cover and get close to the original version even with this good performance.

You do play well...been playing R.E.M. since I first saw them in 1983 (just saw them again here in Prague). "Luckiest record store employee"??...we make our own luck...and Hes the one writing the music and standing up there every night doin it...maybe one day this guy will have Youtubers covering his material. Buck made good of what is clearly not spectacular guitar talent...but his sound is his own and a huge part of R.E.M.s "Sound"...No Buck No R.E.M. its Buck and Stipe IMO that make R.E.M...

I should also say that Peter Buck although not the worlds biggest of guitar talents...is highly underrated!!!...and I've never felt let down by his performance on stage...hes rock solid and confident in what he does...I think his sound speaks for itself.
