these walking robots things are all well and good... but they gotta take time to program in movements in case some asshole comes along and gives it a swift kick from the side. I mean... it's got no arms, so it would just topple over with the person inside and probably cause alot of injuries. They need ways to prevent things like that happening.

I know, this is just the first run, etc... but it seems to me that the "human factor" is always left out of new concepts.

For example: GM's new Segway car... it's apparently not going to have airbags because it doesn't go fast enough to warrent them, and seatbelts for your comfort, not anything practical. But they don't seem to think of the idea of some other jackass in an old non-computer GPS controlled car crashing into this thing at 60mph. I want air bags for that.
