if you do not know already dr cid is the father of balthier i was suprised at first then realize this when i remember balthier mentioning he had a father who went mad in his experimentations and theories and he looks like dr cid DING! with balthier and cid's similar facial and hair and such it is kind of obvious.

@bigbadalastor I'm sure at one point (think on the Phon Coast) Balthier says outright that Cid was his father. So it kind of was spoon fed.
