  • or buy a vdery long ethernet cord and run it through the basement to your room, thats what i did

  • that thing is like $20 more than the 360 wireless adapter

  • the 200mbps solution gamenet whatever costs $20.00 over than a regular wireless adapter

  • i looked it up and its worth more than the wifi adaptor wtf???

  • The particular model I used costs more than the Xbox 360 wifi adapter, but there are several competing solutions that cost far less.

  • You have to have your ISP hooked up somewhere in the mix to get Internet, so the spare DSL modem would need to connect out to your ISP somehow

  • Yes that should work - assuming the DSL modem you are referring to has a way to uplink to your current network connection.

  • Ethernet over Powerline adapter. The one in the video is made by Corinex.

  • Online or major electronics stores like Best Buy.

  • Get a router with more ethernet ports and connect that first. ;)

  • Roughly two thousand feet or about 609 meters

  • You can get competing products at both places. I don't know if you can get the brand demoed here, but any brand will work.

  • Ethernet over powerline works with any ethernet cable.

  • It's compatible with any router.

  • Ethernet over Powerline or some similar variation

  • What's not true?

  • w8 duz this came with those 2 ethenet cables?

  • It comes with the cables.

  • hey where can i buy the products you showed on this film.

  • Best Buy, Circuit City, ebay, Amazon

  • can u plug the Ethernet powerline into a powerstrip (not power outlet).because i heard u cant.

  • You need to plug directly into the wall.

  • you need a router that supports wireless to get the Xbox 360 wireless adapter to work.

  • $20-30 on ebay for something that works more reliably than wireless

  • They work with PCs and Macs too.

  • for the wirless i have a wirless internet and a wirless dell card that plugs in like a usb can i use it on the 360???

  • The only wireless USB card that works with the Xbox 360 is the official one from Microsoft.

  • will using an ethernet cable for my 360 affect my router signal to my laptops whic are all wirless or can use the cable for the 360 and have no problem using wirless with laptops?

  • Using a wired connection for your 360 will have no impact on your wireless connections for other gear.

  • how can i get one of those plz??????

  • Read the about this video and click the link

  • @SteveRocka50 u should buy them at best buys

  • i know im being dim but where abouts do i get those and how much are they

  • See the about this video

  • click the link in the video description for additional options on where to find cheap ones (ebay being a good option)

  • ebay is a good option but i dont know what there called could you please tell me the name of this device

  • Ethernet over powerline network adapter - seriously, click the link in the about this video - all the additional answers you seek are there.

  • I've had the same ones installed and running for several months. A friend of mine has been using similar ones for over a year.

  • yes.

  • If you're already using wired connection, you don't need this. It's very possible the connection is bad because of someone else you are playing against.

  • not on ebay. And you get the advantage of no signal drop out when gaming online

  • maybe... depends on the signal strength. This method uses the powerlines in your house, so you don't have to worry unless the distance is greater than 2000 feet.

  • where do i get one???

  • Full details are in the link in the video description.

  • I have a < $80 US Solution.

No profit for me straight from netgear

    connect multiple devices

  • they don't need to be these secific ones - the competing solutions have similar components (possibly the same componets)

  • read the about this video section

  • It's an ethernet over powerline adapter - read the About this video for additional details.

  • You get an alternative to wireless.

  • great video

  • Your a Legend u saved me £60 ($100)

  • theoritically yes, but you should really have a router to protect your home network anyway.

  • will this work with a cable modem? and my modem olny has 1 ethernet port on the back but it has 1 usb port we dont use.

  • Yes it works with cable. You should spend $30 on a router to connect to your cable modem and then connect these to your router.

  • Details for where to find it are in the link in the description of the video in the About this video section. ;)

  • i fixed da prob and HAD GREAT RESULTS. BUY THIS. DNT THINK TWICE! AMAZING AND YET EASY TO PLAY LIVE WHICH IS CHEAPER (SUM ROUTRS) AND DNT NEED A WRLESS ROUTER. I FINALLY GT 2 PLAY LIVE THANK U SOOOO MUCH AND HOPE OTHERS WILL GT DIS!!!

  • You may need to do some configuration on your router for it to work. I don't know the specifics of your router.

  • Connect one side to the back of your router and one side to the back of your Xbox. Watch the video - it's all there. :)

  • All Ethernet over powerline solutions work well between floors. That's the setup I have. That's also the setup my friend Brandon uses in his house.

  • the router that you have,

will that work on xbox live wirelessly with the xbox 360 game adapter?

because on the xbox official site, they say that they dont support the routers with SRX technology..

  • It's worked for as long as I've owned it

  • It means D-Link will outsell the GameNet adapter. Most of the companies making these things are all buying the same parts from the same manufacturers.

  • how much did you buy yours for and can i have your wireless adapter

  • They retail for $170, but you can find competing models for much less.

The wireless adapter is getting used on my second Xbox 360.

  • It is wired and you can still connect to Media Center or Windows Media Connect

  • It likely would be faster - it's 85 Mbps and far more reliable than WiFi. I regularly game at a friend's house who has a XE104

  • Best Buy, Circuit City, eBay - see the link in the description for more details

  • Dude u r friggin awsome! Thanks 2 u im gttin 1 and plaayin on live. THANK U SOOOO MUCHHHHHH!

  • Yes that one will work as well.

  • out of curiosity if someone lived in an apartment and did this could someone else steel heir connection?/

  • I don't know for certain whether you could or could not steal someone else's connection using these, but it seems unlikely since most apartments are on their own separate power.

  • and da 3rd u dnt need a wireless router rit just a reg like a Dsl router and the do the ethernet cables have to be da same or can dey be dif Please write bak so maybe i can gt 1!

  • You do not need a wireless router - any wired router will work. Most of the units come with the Ethernet cables, but any Ethernet cables will work.

  • Genius. Yet so simple.

  • Fuckin brilliant mate i saw the set on ebay for cheap and im gna get it now thanx alot.

  • does it matter the distance away ur 360 and reg router and comp are cuz my 360 is upstairs and comp downstairs

  • I saw something that suggested you wouldn't want to be more than 1000 feet away, which should cover almost any house or apartment.

  • nice video, but i have 1 question. My 360 is on the 1st floor and router is like exactly upstairs (2nd floor). If i buy them can i play live even with the distance. PLEASE RIGHT BACK!!!

  • Yes - that's exactly how I'm using them. I have my router in my office on one floor and the Xbox 360 on a different floor.

  • SWEET! Thats awsome man just 3 more questions how much are they and where do i gt them

  • Any consumer electronics store should have them - although they seem to be cheaper on eBay. See the link in the description for more on where to get them.
