I watched the Blind Side at the Theater and PAID for it like everyone else should and these movies should not be available for free - the writers and actors and related persons to the movie get paid by the money that comes in from the Movie and they should not be robbed!  The movie was good!

But i cant do whole lot for this kid but feed him and let him stay at my house.. i wish i could do more for him . if some one out there is willing to help pls. response,, i would deeply appreciate it in behalf of this child.

I just saw the film. Although I did not care for the writing in the film, I totally loved the true story. Thank you the family that all those involved for nurturing his brain. What a story. I just wished the issue of poverty in this country would be addressed as well as the systematic poverty that many don't see as well as the segregation.

Oher's high school coach Hugh Freeze raised eyebrows by taking a job as UM's assistant athletic director for external affairs twenty days after Oher signed with the school. Michael Lewis makes it pretty clear that Leigh Anne is not someone you want to get on the wrong side of. There is a scene in the book where Michael Oher brings a friend over and the friend mentions that he has a kid and Leigh Anne tells Michael Oher that if he gets a girl pregnant she'll cut of his dick, and Michael's response is - She's serious. Shades of Gray and all that, but most people are a rainbow colored mixture of Good and Evil. Porchop probably just got on the wrong side of her.

The better quote in the book is by Sean where he describes his wife as having the heart the size of a pea, she'll step on your neck to get what she wants and not feel bad about it. I don't have the book with me, so I may have the quote a little off, but that is pretty close.

One thing that was not clear until rereading the book is that most of what is in the book is what happened in front of Michael Lewis. You can sort of tell if you have read The Next Next Next new thing, or Liars Poker.

I'm in this movie. 6 rows back from Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw. When the guy in red yells about the "Big Black Bear" on the field in the first game of the season against Milford, I am the kid to the left with the red facepaint that is horizontal Stripes. It was pretty much awesome meeting both of them. Remember this scene and check it out in the movie.

Incredible book. I'm reading it very gradually, and I'm on P. 304 or so. Only about 24 pages to go. I'll probably finish it this weekend, but even up until this point, it's been a great book. This is the first book that I'll be able to say I read from front to back without actually being forced to for school.
