this is the first sage song i searched for on yt. and i own most of his stuff. just that all the cds i bought in the way back, fell apart. so yeahh #1 sage song for me too
I can see that being Andy's death. Always thought really dead or it was a prank. Leave it to Sage to write about the prank backfireing and adding a personal tiwst on it.
I think as an emcee Sage is dope as hell, I was into his freestyles, wordplay, spoken word, guest appearances and battles. I never really digged his songs. But I would have to say this is his best track ever. The bass line and his dark lyrics blends perfectly. The concept is just deep and intense. I mean who hasn't thought about what it would be like if they died, who would cry for us etc. The message at the end with his dad and how it was too late to go back. This would make a sick movie!
@Basicpiviot you kidding me man?? Sage is my favorite....i have listened to sage since i was 14....i have a signed poster on the wall like a foot away from me, in my opinion (among others) this is on song that never fails to give me goosebumps and shivers, hell sage is one of my main influences for rhymes since i was a young punk
I think this is one of his better songs (at least one of my favorites) no matter when you heard it or how well you know Sage's stuff. I've been listening to him for years and it wasn't the first song from him, I've heard, far from it. I still like this shit a whole lot.
That would have been the shit if their was a fifth person in Deep Puddle Dynamics and it was Sage. Damn i guess i better stop living in the past.... HA HA

i have listened to almost all of sages songs from Joey Beats to his solo music to his spoken work and now with Strange Famous and i can say
