true, the HD version plays 'funny', but that has nothing to do with your uploaded file, youtube re-encodes the file anyway... so I am presuming it's to do with youtube's encoding...

nope it's just youtube or something that's making it laggy.

I mean with a Core 2 Quad Q6600 @2.4 GHz (or intel c2d e6600 @ 2.9ghz for the guy above) it should play buttersmooth. but this HD movie (with some others) are also laggy with me. though most of 'em work just fine

In order for the video to run smoothly under the 720p quality, your CPU should be at least 3.0 Ghz single core or better.

It doesn't work quite right for me either. The sound and video get really choppy. Like really quick chops though. It's weird. And my computer isn't bad. Core 2 Duo at 3.33Ghz with 4 gigs of ram. So... I don't know. Maybe it's comcast. comcast sucks.
