  • It's amazing how you still loving our country knowing all the imperfects we have :)! maybe is truth what foreigners says, when you come to Ecuador, you want to spend the rest of your life here..

    Greetings from GYE, EC :)

  • So you guys retired in ecuador?

  • Some People Act Like Some Of This Things Doesn't Happened In Other Parts Of The world Specially In The USA, Being From Ecuador Living In The USA For Many Years And Also Travelling Around The World I've Seen This And More, There Is Not Spot In The World That Any Of This Things Happens!!!! And Regardless Of The many Issues For Some It Does Not Take Away The Beauty Of This Great Place For All TheEcuadorians That Live There And The New Comers And Visitors This Nation Greets!!!!:)

  • It really depends where are you in Ecuador... If you are in the coast you can be surprised about murdering... If you are in Galapagos you will surprised about the beauty of animals and plants... In the mountains they eat guinea pigs... But in Pennsylvania there is a law that says is illegal to sing in the shower... So everything is in the eye of the beholder

  • It is the sam in the UK you dont need to refrigerate the eggs also the reason for eating chicken feet and head is because is cheap as the salary is $260 per month in ecuador.

Ecuador is a great place to live if you have enough money whereas for an avarage person it can be taugh as they need to be carefull with every cent they spend.

  • I recently moved back to my country (Ecuador) after living for ten years in the states. I left as a kid and lived in S.C. where there are NO Ecuadorians. When I got here I didn't know what to expect but now I have the biggest list of differences it has with everyday matters compared to the US. I love my culture. Its so amazing. Was this video taken in Cuenca?

  • Scene at 1:50 is heartbraking but trust me, for a resident of NYC that's not a surprise!! We have a lot of homeless and intoxicated people sleeping even on the streets of Queens, where it's supposed the better part of the city.

  • lol! I guess so...

  • I stand corrected.. :-)

  • @LatinLetterman

It's government subsidized. If the government ever decides to stop subsidizing, then you will see the price jump to the per liter. But is it likely? Why not.

  • Yucch!!

  • @EsmeraldaJ2011

A bit too exotic for most Norteamericanos.

  • Sorry, you misspelled Ecuador... "Discover Ecaudor Blog"..... See, someone is paying attention to your videos :)

  • @LatinLetterman Oops, it happens sometimes.

  • Gasoline is not cheap. They sell it by the litter. 1 gallon = 3.875 Litters. This means that Xtra is $5.73 a gallon. It is expensive.

  • @LatinLetterman Sorry, but you are incorrect. We checked today and it is by the gallon, not liter. We took a photo of the gasoline tank showing it by the gallon and it is posted on the blog. It is posted under the "moving to Cuenca" category.
