is that a lloyd&gay pan? i can't tell if the outside notes are bored too. very beautiful. someone commented already, but i'd try some anodized panyard mallets. better response than wood. i beat the crap out of my first pan with wood mallets, but i prefer the anodized on my bore pan.

agreed with Basstarde. Learn the piece a bit better, and slow it down! I want to hear the song, not just a rep of the song played as fast as possible.
