I am about to do this swap. I found the ratio for the 6 speed but not the 5 speed Manual -- Standard 6 speed Gear Ratios 1st 3.166 2nd 2.050 3rd 1.481 4th 1.166 5th 0.916 6th 0.725 Reverse 3.250 Differential Ratio 4.529

Your GTS trans, isnt it a different gear ratio?

And is it worth getting a fidanza flywheel for a stock GT?

Yes the gear ratio is different, I would probably be batter off with longer gears for the Turbo but I sacrificed that for a better cruising gear.....lower rpms at highway speed.

I wouldn't get anything but a stock flywheel for a stock GT.

hey I was told that by a transmission shop that I would need a bunch GTS parts to install the trans in my GT. Is this true? If so, what parts?

Your shop is either a bunch of morons or they were trying to scam you, all you need is the transmission from a GT-S......that's it, nothing else.

thats awesome, I have a GT and I think it busted the main shaft in the trans, I have been looking and the only decent priced trans I've been seeing are GTS's. Was it an easy fit?

It's a 1 for 1 swap pretty easy.
