I like the f-holes on the amp. Playing has a Robin Ford vibe. Tone is like a Marshall crossed with a Dumble with lots of nice cabinet resonance on the low end (which surprises me since it's not a very big cab). I'll bet this rig sounds great cranked up.
I believe they were: resonance full on, Voicing: 8 o'clock, Highs: 10 o'clock, Saturation: full on - Vol about 4 o'clock, Distortion: about 9 o'clock. The pedal is capable of way more than this, but that was one of the tones.
WHOA dude .... one HELL of a nice tone ya got there. How much of what i'm hearing is based on the Zinky, vs. the DP-1? (As with most nice amps, i would say 80/20, amp/DP-1.) Rgds, Andrew B.
The Zinky is nice on its own but the DP-1 really pushes and compliments the amp. The Zinky can do all sorts of tones on its own, but the DP-1 takes the amp from very mild warm overdrive (basically warm and clean) to what you hear on he vid. The Zinky takes great pedals well and not so good stuff not so well. So great pedal - great amp - I'd say about equal.
