just to say coyote brown is for the usmc in woodland and dester/aridd areas and yes coyote works great in wooded areas

My dad carried this pack in iraq with him while he was on active duty in the USMC. It's his favorite pack ever, and I just purchased one for myself. I can't wait. I know this pack helped him get through some serious times, and I hope both of our bags last a lifetime.

question for anyone with this pack, is it large enough to fit a sleeping bag in(a sleeping bag in a compression sack) along with other backpacking/camping gear?

@shutit05 Yes it could, if you compress it and put it at the bottom of the pack. after placing in gear you can compress the pack so the pack isnt budging out.

I have used this pack for the past 4 years camping, hiking and everything in between. It's been thrown around alot and shows very little wear. The shoulder straps are stitched into the pack in such a way that you would literally have to cut them out with a knife, they will not rip from the pack. Bottom and top are double layered. I have their pouches attached to mine to organize. All seams are double or triple stitched BEFORE the seam tape is applied with high tensile thread. Worth the money.
