  • nice video

  • what all of these xenophobes on here never mention is that the "what goes around comes around" would apply to the globabl economy now. Do any of you have any idea how much influence the US has on foreign economies? How many people lose their jobs overseas when US companies enter their markets and swallow up small, medium and even large businesses? This is just a matter of rich people doing what they've always done- make more money by screwing over the workers

  • Harleys are overpriced junk. Even Sonny Barger would tell you that.

Keep spending more for less and get the fuck over yourselves...

  • The most "underrated" bike on the road today. You can't do any better anywhere paying twice the money for something else. Bought the 07' Tourer new and will have 25,000 miles on it by summer's end. Most enjoyable miles I've ever put on any bike. Get one, you won't be sorry!

  • Funny reading all the pro Harley , Comments. Great Bike but don't buy into the "Made in America" nonsense. It should say Assembled in America. Don't believe me. Take a walk through a Harley Parts Department and you'll be shocked. All the parts boxes say Made in China, India, Mexico Etc. It was quite a eye opener for me. They aren't your Daddys Hogs anymore.

  • Hey Gatormon....just for your knowledge....

Harley doesn't make bikes in India.....They ship the bikes from the US to India as Completely Knocked Down units.....and then just assemble them in India, coz the Indian government imposes a 115% import duty on foreign bikes. So a bike costing $5000 in the US will cost $11500 in India.

  • Fantastic bike. I own one myself. Added cobra pipes and Corbin Fleetwood saddle bags and a Corbin Batwing fairing. I have the cherry red. The stock seat is very very comfortable. I had a Honda VTX1300 and the seat on it was brutal. Love the size and shape of the tank and the location of the speedometer. Plenty of power for any kind of riding and doesn't seem like a big bike at all. Check it out. It is a great bike for a great price.

  • Agree wid brotherskeeper7, I came for motorcycles not politics.

  • Politics and Motorcycles, I came for the Motorcycles.

  • Why does harleys look so incredibly gay? Everytime I see those people riding it them I think "I bet those guys are leather fags who likes it up the ass"

  • @SirEricz

Why does you spell so incredibly bad?

You likely are a latent homosexual, thus your thoughts invariably turn to the task of determining who will take it up the ass from you. You'll find your leather queen partner...just keep looking!

  • @SirEricz

Most bikers wear leather to protect their skin in the event of a crash ... if you can't understand why people wear leather on a motorcycle then I'm impressed that you managed to successfully type a comment into youtube, as that requires some intellect.

  • @superjackhamm3 Hahhaha well said!

  • what concerns me about the open drive belt of the yamaha, is that if there are flying rocks that could possibly get caught

in between the drive belt and sprocket. there is possibility of breaking the drive belt & sprocket, that could result in breakage during the ride. yamaha should fully cover the drive belt so it won't catch any flying rocks or debris.

  • Check out the custom V-Star clutch lever at clevverlever , com

  • my dad has one

  • I stand amazed at the discussions americans canhave in front of a motorcycle test. I stand amazed in front of the fact that americans want to protect their industry by misleading and disinformation in the age of internet.

You think I was amazed to know that world financial crysis started because of americans?

I'm romanian and in ROmania I know at least two firms that do outsourcing for american firms. Dell is doing outsourcing in Romania.

Harley Davidson is shit, but... looks nice.

  • you kinda confuse me that was a yamaha video not a harley and america probably did cause the "world financial crysis started because of americans" as you put it but who cares as long as we all can go and ride.

  • Not Business school, but did stick around long enough for a Degree. What Union advocates outsourcing?

  • No, The point is, some outsourcing stems from the cost of Labor unions. How many people know how much money is loaded into the price of a car based on unreasonable differences in benefit costs ? How much different are those from the Non-union skilled employees. The difference makes the sales for imports, let alone lack of competitive quality.

  • Mr. Coffee used to employ Union workers making about 21/hr.They moved to Mexico and paid 2.46/hr.They moved again to China and paid workers about 21 cents/day.How much has the price of a coffee maker decreased as a result? What does your analytically trained mind tell you about that?

  • How about outsourcing CEO's jobs? You don't see many workers flying on private jets or having extravagant perks. Bringing in a foreign boss who would be happy to make what an average working person makes sounds almost genius. Maybe the inventer of the car WAS on to something!?Tell me how the wages compare over the last decade between a CEO and someone who actually does the work.

  • IWLocal8 I have been checking out what you been saying and bitching about imports,I have a question 4 you. As much effort you been bitching on U Tube,WHY haven't you been commplaining to those DEMOCRAPS, that the unions supported that got NAFTA and turning america into a socialist country.

  • It was started by Bush 1. I DO give Clinton absolute HELL for signing it ! I also think he's a POS for lying to the US people on ANY subject. I'm a veteran and if you knew more about me - you'd know that I am a huge supporter of the US Constitution. Any more questions? Also-feel free to PM me if you do want more info/education.

  • I agree, But I voted 4 the constitution party the last 2 elections, the dems want to bankrup us wih social programs and take are guns away. And the reps have and agenda that is not where we need to go.I am a veteran 2.

  • The Constitution Party wants to turn the US into a Fundamentalist State - not very Constitutional.(so much for seperation of Church/State)Islamic Theocracies don't work - why would a Christian one be any different? Before you get all rattled-look on their official homepage - "returning the US to it's Biblical foundation"(I'm paraphrasing-but remember reading something very similar there)

THANK YOU for your Service regardless of where you stand on anything.

  • that may be true to a point, for fundamentalism, but I would rather have them in goverment than the muslim's,i've never seen so. baptist commiting suicide 4 jesus! the party stands against liberal anti god veiws and big goverment, and there against nafta and gun control, and not changing the constitution to appease the leftwingers. I'm not saying there any better but at least there trying to keep america to be ruled by the majority, not amerika ruled by the minority.

  • Buy Japanese!

  • Does the engine misfire on the demo 1300 like it does on my 2007 V Star 1300. Are you going to mention the handle bars are too short and all the turbulence behind the Tourer model OEM windshield?

  • i dont get why u never see cruiser riders wearing full face masks, i know u see those racers wearing them, but dont cruiser riders care about their face? as well as their skulls?

  • Well, I agree, But with full face helmets, You look out of proportion with a cruiser.

  • yeah, but maybe i like my face and id like to keep it, even it means looking less bad ass. never take ur ability to chew for granted. lol i dont even ride, but i wanna get my license next spring. so ive been looking at videos of bike crashes. i dont care, im never gonna not protect my face.

  • @daviewavie112

Have to agree. I have done the open face/half helmet thing and even though the ones I had were DOT and SNELL rated that isn't going to protect you from trama to the face. Also I got tired of eating bugs and getting debris hitting me in the face at speed. But to each his or her own.

  • LOL

  • i guess icsshotgun is so smart seems like he study his american history very well and believes everything he is told on T.V. Way to go man it's just another ignorant american, please open your damned eyes and wake up.

  • very nice ride!

  • Then be happy when your kids can't find a decent paying job. You can teach them about converting dollars to yen and see how useful it is to them.

  • How about have them go get an education so they arn't stuck in those jobs anyway. Its going to a global ecomony. Get competitive or get out. Also Harley is made in India mostley. Alot of stuff is made elseware and people get good jobs importing, designing, inventing. Get educated and be an inovator. Then leave mass production yawn jobs to someone else.

  • Sorry, I live in Milwaukee and have seen them built. I have a BA, and, there isn't anything mass production about my job. It would have you screaming like a little girl in five seconds to try.

  • Harley makes bikes in India...also has deal with China..Makes parts there also..get off your Harley high horse ass..Last time I checked this was America and we can ride or drive whatever we want to or can afford to.

Ride what you like but get your facts straight.Ya wanna bich then wirt to Harley Davidson and see what they tell ya.

If you do ride a Harley look real hard at the parts on it.Harley out sources from many other places.

  • AMEN!!

  • @Gatormon

I agree, take pride in your ride.

  • @Gatormon--- Rightly Said

  • @Gatormon most harley riders are old fat pussies anyway, so who cares what they have to say, mate

  • much too Old for a Crotch Rocket, maybe I'll trade my Honda shadow, for one!!!

  • Try Harley you rice eating yen spending anti-American dolt.

  • hey IWLOCAL8 go fuck yourself you faggot all you do is look at JAP bikes and make bad comments . if your so PRO AMERICAN get off china made computer cause i know it aint made in the USA ......guess only PATRIOTISM YOU HAVE HAS TO DO WITH A STUPID MOTORCYCLE ....GO FUCK YOURSELF

  • Served in the 82nd Airborne. I support US made products. Don't be pissed at me because you support Jap companies.

Fucking WANNABE fat ass dick smoking bandit.

  • WHAT EXACTLY MAKES ME A WANNABE

  • damn your stupid

  • Why the fuck do you hang out on pages of things you hate. Fuck off dude.

  • To shut up idiots like you who support foreign economies. I spend my money where I make it-US. If you're happy riding bikes that drip soy sauce-go nuts. Just don't go getting TOO patriotic on us. LMAO

  • as long as your are raiding (or driving), you are in a way, supportting foreign economies. gas and oil are from mid-east, metal came from south america and electronic are made in asia. and there is nothing wrong about it, it's called globlization; foreigners watch hollywood movies and eat bigmac too....

  • You obviously don't "get it". Must be too young...

  • I'm old enough, and I do get it. I bought 2 Harleys, both pieces of Shit. Fatboy spent first six weeks of ownership getting fixed, four different issues. Bought a 2004 Roadstar, and a 2004 Vstar 1100, modified both, never had to turn a wrench to fix either one.. Never fails to start or please. When it;s MY money, American Quality has a lot to prove. Maybe the US union workers should figure out it pays to put out quality before cashing the paycheck.

  • Sure you did. A buddy of mine went over 200,000 miles last summer. Support foreign companies - you're just as bad as the idiots who outsource jobs. It IS your money - don't cry when all of the jobs go to the same place that makes your Japanese and you don't have any more money - you can feed your kids your import.

  • Union Labor IS WHY outsourcing happens, and quality drops for paying ulaborers 40 bucks an hour not to educate, sweep floors, and retain a job just for coming to work everyday. That's changing fast and you all can feel it coming. I buy American when American makes the best quality in the world. period. We have in the past, and that's the only way "American Made" will survive.

Same Quality 4 same money, American, but it ain't happening, Harley, big 3 - Ain't selling 'cause they ain't better.

  • "Union Labor IS WHY outsourcing happens" If you really want to look stupid, keep writing along those lines. Outsourcing has nothing to do with Unions. Unions help keep jobs right were they are.

  • There's a good testimony... look what they've done for the automotive industry. Yup, - "Right where they are."

  • OF COURSE labor unions play a part in outsourcing.

I'm guessing you didn't go to business school... Try visiting the Dept of Labor and graphing out some stats.

  • You think maybe Free Trade instead of Fair Trade might have something to do with it? I'm guessing others like yourself who could give two craps about supporting US companies has more to do with it than Unions. (who COLLECTIVELY BARGAIN - meanining Labor AND Management AGREE on a contract) I'm guessing any schooling you had didn't involve extensive logic.

  • Yes, I DO give 2 craps about supporting American Companies,.But like children, they don't learn by enabling them to repeating mistakes over and over. I'm sure we differ on the definitions of agreement, and duress (here's where term collective comes in). If USA workers paid based on performance, we wouldn't be having this discussion. My 2 post grad degrees have given me accredited license for comprehensive logic evaluation and critical analysis... That's why I end up with accurate evaluations.

  • Buying foreign does not support American Companies. How much logic is needed to understand that?

  • everyone has one of those on youtube

  • Are you only trained to say certain sentences? I keep having deja-vu.

I have my very own fat little cyber-stalker.

    LMFAO

  • There aren't any US made computers dumbass because idiots like you buy foreign shit that doesn't get charged tariffs.

Keep buying foriegn goods. Just don't whine when the only job you can get is night shift fry cook. Oh wait, that's where you are now. But instead of work, you videotape yourself doing chickenshit burnouts in the parking lot against a wall. Guess you won't get that promotion to delivery driver.

  • i guess i could not have a job and be on welfare . my job dont pay the best but i can still build a bike so much fuckin cooler than yours (and not have an outrages monthly payment)i guess if i was cool as you i would set around and bad mouth erverybody that i feel is below me AND IF I WAS A FRY COOK WHICH IM NOT WHO GIVES A FUCK I GUESS YOU FAULT ALL PEOPLE THAT R TRYIN TO MAKE A LIVEN....I BET U HATE MEXICANS ..I DONT BLAME THEM I LOVE AMERICA ID WANNA BE HERE TOO

  • My wife and kids are Mexican Tubby.

If you keep buying foreign shit, the good jobs will ALL get sent overseas and you'll be lucky to get promoted to fry cook.

My great UNION job pays good enough that it isn's an outrageous (learn to spell moron) monthly payment to own a couple of Harleys that could easily blow the doors off of your piece of shit. (and both of them have front and rear brakes)

    BUY AMERICAN

  • lw0782/.hhgp -00klj

  • If you knew anything about Harleys you'd know that whatever you spend on one you will spend 3 times the amount on repair. When Harley decides to put out a bike that isn't PURELY to make an old fuck feel like he's in a social club, it'll be a cold day in hell.

  • If you knew anything about Harleys, you'd be able to fix them yourself...

  • thats the only true thing youve said all harley OWNERS need to go to MOTORCYCLE MECHANICS INSTUTE and get a degree .that away theyll be able to ride down to hooters for there monthly HEY LOOK AT ME IM A BIKER get together

  • Ita about being on two wheels and if you look your american harley isn't 100% american.

  • It's a hell of a lot more American than any Yamaha, Honda, or Suzuki.

The profits stay in the US and help OUR economy, not to some Japanese CEO.

  • Hey heres an idea. Ask a Harley dealership for a military discount and watch them laugh at you. I am in the navy and that is what they tell all VETS. Yamaha the devil as you describe them gives me 20% on every part I buy.

  • Awesome - someone who fights for the US but supports foreign companies.

(At least thank you for your service)

  • Yeah well I'd buy a harley if they weren't the most expesive thing on two wheels. Sure you can say they are worth more (debatable) But I just cannot afford one at this point (22 Y.0) I own 2 Vstars (1100 Classic and 1100 Custom) I have never had a problem. My dad owns a Harley (softtail i think?) And has nothing but maintanance issues.

  • Nothing wrong with honesty. My buddy just went over 300,000 w/Road King. I've NEVER had any issue with mine.

  • HEY fel her, do ya remember the shovel head, the flat head ,the block head, and now HD got a new model its called the knot head, its being built for the people who dont no any better

  • honda shadow is a nice nice bike, i was looking at the honda 250, nice and simple

  • I got it :)

  • Come on dude, you can read better than that~!

    Put some oomph into it!

  • As an owner... very nice ride! Join the fansite at 1300tourer dot com for more info!
