Ok, take the "Get On The Carousel" bit, slow it down, take off the rock backing track,add some violins and change the lyrics to "Aha, you paint your world and use all colours.....". That's why Abba could never release this - because the chorus was used in "Hole In Your Soul" and anyway the sentiments expressed here (the crazy merry-go-round insanity of fame and fortune) were recaptured in the newer track "I'm A Marionette". But I agree, "Carousel" had an unbeatable energy about it. WOW ABBA !!!

Great to see and hear this song again. Saw it live in Australia way back when when I was a kid. Very memorable moment - Like many, was disappointed when the boys decided to hack into it to create "Hole in Your Soul" for The Album. Took the guts out of it methinks. @salemthemerciless Yes, we would like to see the girls in all their sexiness, HOWEVER, it is significant to note that the social culture AND even the music competition (or so the public, and apparently Abba too, thought) in the the 1970's was such that the managers of Abba believed that the only way this movie would fly (be successful) would be to make a story out of it. Little did they know what people would think 30-35 years later! (And no "effing" please, & thanks, on Abba comments....)

This is totally SANE!!! One of the great things about ABBA is that they could put out tremendous music, drug-free, no crazy antics on stage (compared to many bands) and no insanity or kooky stuff. Those back-up singers are 100% FANTASTIC!!!

I love this one! This looks like a different edit though. In other clips, I don't think the music is in the background when they leave the stage shot.
