I really like exploring the darker side to metal. Offcourse the darkest of all is black metal. But this is deffently in the top 5. My life goal is to create the blackest music.
btw Chuck is spot on when he talks about categories. They're all bullshit. metal is metal. There's like 100 fucking subcategories now and the arguments on I see on here are so embarrassing, like "dude you're totally stupid it's not technical screamo grindcore it's black death sludge coregrind, jeez everyone knows that"
I love how it stops at 2:33 then starts right up again. It's so simple but epic. Scream bloody gore was the first death metal album I ever got. At first I laughed at it and thought it was so ridiculous. A couple years later I pulled it out again and realized how fucking great it was. Sure the quality isn't the best and there's mistakes all over the place (the drummer is a bit sloppy at times) but it actually adds to the charm. Classic album.
