I keep thinking about that starting gate you have with the big ring that rises up and allows the marbles to start moving. Part of me is always wanting to come up with something simpler or more fancy yet just as reliable, but I haven't thought of one yet. I like the utility of your design. It works, always, and it's not hard to build.
