theres another way i found that makes normal polish to matte. u put on ur own nail polish of w/e colour then put on the normal top coat. Wait for about an hour to dry then use a little bit of nail polish remover and rub against ur nail bed. It'll give it a matte finish in the end

you should wear your hair curly all the time. i think it looks really gorgeous and my best friends hair is naturally very curly. she says the secret to making her curls less frizzy (if thats why your straightening your hair) is to not brush it or blow dry it. i just thought you might want to know that. im not trying to be rude or anything, but i just love your hair curly!

Nail Tech FYI: Noticing small bubbles in your nail polish applications? Don't shake the bottle, I know it's a bad habit . so, to prevent this, roll the bottle between both hands so you don't end up with bubbles on your nail polish. Ta-Ta!

At first with the matte polishes I didn't like the idea, I thought the effect looked like you didn't take care of your nails, or use top coat. You're comparison to a sharpie made me laugh cause that's totally what it looks like. I didn't know that Essie made this product, but now that I see it I think being able to use existing polishes in combination with a matte top coat will let me take advantage of the trend, but not be stuck with lots of matte polishes when the trend fades. another way you can "matte" your nails and i found out about this by accident. Once you apply your polish and top coat just before it is fully dry when it is at its sticky consistency, just place your nails over steam. I found this out a while back while i was boiling soup after i just did my nails haha

Yeah, I think satin (that would be nail polishes with the shiny finish) are sooooooooo much prettier then matte. I think matte just makes it look cheap. :/ But, that's just my opinion. Great review anyways! ;)

I love matte finishes. I have one by OPI "You don't know jacques", which they also have in a regular cream. I love the colour, hate the polish....it turned your nails yellow even if you only have it on for a couple hours!
