You are not condemned to hell for not knowing the truth you are in hell for despising truth. Hindus who have never heard of Christ thereby never rejecting him are saved by Christ still based on their response to moral conscience which we all have(Romans 2:12-16) Since Christ is the creator of all things He gave us the light of creation, the light of conscience, and then Himself the light of the world so as Paul states so eloquently we are all without excuse.
@ClumsyRoot GODS universe His rules dont like it ? @ClumsyRoot pontificating what God expects NO but I read my bible which is Gods blueprint of His will for mankind. I didnt make this stuff up out of thin air as the Darwinist suppose we originate from. How can a human who is finite establish the existence of a.... You cant put God in a test tube and measure his vitals if so he would cease to be God. And im not threatening you Im just pasing on what God passed to moses passed on to Joshua all the way down to my Bishop to me and now you know
@ClumsyRoot (con't) He provided us with the light of creation hoping we would recognize him as the creator. What did we humans do? we worshiped the sun then us so called "intelligent" humans said it was all part of random processes and there is no God? He gave us Himself cloaked in flesh what did we say about Christ? No he is not messiah he was just a man like Odysseus. What more do we want God to do? Come down and stand on top of Mt Everest and say "I AM GOD WORSHIP ME!"
@ClumsyRoot God is spirit He is not hiding we just cant see Him with the natural eye. You can give birth what more evidence do you need? When you cut yourself your body heals by itself what more evidence do you need The bible says "without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God"(Hebrews 11:6) What are you going to do to please the one who created the moons and stars what give him a dollar? we are but a speck of dust compared to Him. "We live by faith not by sight"(2 Corinth 5:7)
Ad-hominem and ranting is the extent of Morey's ability to communicate. Why anyone listens to this idiot is beyond imagination. He is not an educated apologist, and simply will not deal with issues, expecially when someone has a legitimate argument of Calvinism for instance. I have heard Morey say many times to a caller, "you are obviously an idiot" when the caller begins to refute him. Morey is not an apologist, not a theologian. The guy is not worth the price of admission and a liar.
Thanks for the comments "doggysector." Just to update you & others who may read this, Morey fled California in March 2009 after it became obvious that the California Department of Corporations was going to investigate his suspected securities fraud in the illegal acquisition of his now torn down "church building" in Irvine, California. Morey's excuse was he had to leave suddenly to help his ailing mother-in-law in New York. Latest reports put Morey in Pennsylvania. Google search MOREYLINKS.
The truth is that Hank is an idiot and stole the ministry from Dr. Walter Martin. On the other hand Morey is a total idiot and is not worth the time of day.
"goffnett" is saying "AMEN!!" to "the1branch" for his comment which I agree with. Morey's tactic to embellish himself is to bring others down, in this case it is Hannegraaff who has been cast as the villian. Morey has attacked numerous other Christians such as Walter Martin, Josh McDowell, Bob Passintino, Craig Hawkins, & a host of others. Why has he done this? For the same reason he always does it, Morey wants to blast everyone so people will think he's the best overall! Yahoo MOREYLINKS.
Sorry to be soooo slow but I'm still learning my way around this site.. here it is Nov 2009 & I'm behind enough that I think that it's me in the rearview mirror & I just can't get far enough ahead.. blessings
College education is the answer to everything. The young little children go before the mass and learn from enlightened ones ... we are so old fashioned for assuming killing babies is wrong, and that it is bizarre that homosexuals are wrong for coming out and bragging about their behavior. They want to get married now.
Lets kill babies after their born, toss them in the dumpster ... and save the baby seals and whales. 40,000,000 since Roe -vs- Wade Child molesters did wrong ??? Help them!
"goffnet" is making a point of college education & its inability & he is right. In this TRUTHSEEKERBOBMOREY video though it's not really a matter of college education versus ignorance but more a matter of deliberate & calculated slander by Morey. Morey uses "education" as a facade to cloak his real intention in harming Hannegraaff's reputation as best as he can. Criminal fraud & slander are Morey's trademarks (Yahoo MOREYLINKS - Morey is currently under investigation by federal authorities).
I like your point "the1branch," it is short & succinct. Keep in mind that the one who is making all these high & mighty statements about "education" or the lack thereof, is Morey himself. Morey has set himself up as the final arbiter & judge as if he is actually qualified to do so. This is his "con game" tactic to snow his listeners into believing what he says. If Morey can convince listeners that he is this greatly educated "apologist" then he has won the con game. Don't believe him!
The point of the video is to expose to the public what type of individual that "dr" Robert Morey really is. He slanders others while exaggerating his own claims. Search for the blog site "The Saint Augustinian" on the internet & go to their current page for the article "Criminal Fraud & Slander Routinely Practiced by "dr" Robert Morey of Faith Defenders." Morey's criminal activities have been reported to numerous law enforcement agencies. Morey is presently "retiring" & leaving suddenly.
"Vaekkrinhart" has asked: "Why the name TRUTHSEEKERBOBMOREY then?" Robert Morey's favorite fraud tactic is to take something & turn it on its head. For example, if someone in his church catches him stealing church funds (this is reported in the 81 page FIRE report, yahoo MOREYLINKS for more info) then Morey will reply that the church member who reported him is "sinning" against the pastor with "slander" even when the report is true. Our name is a joke on Morey, an irony for search engines.
God can use anyone at any time to accomplish His purpose (Daniel 4:35). God used Pharoah (Romans 9:17-22), Nebuchadnezzar (Jeremiah 27:5-7), the Chaldeans (Habakkuk) & even Caiaphas (John 18:14) for purposes ordained for them. God can use Hannegraaff just as he can use Morey. Peter himself declared that Christ's crucifixion was ordained of God but those responsible were still guilty sinners (Acts 2:23). God can still use the wicked despite their wickedness, Bob Morey being a prime example!
Soranneo has some interesting information. An update: Robert Morey was kicked out of the national association of churches called Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals in Sept 2008 for a litany of Proverbs 6:16-19 sins which he still presently engages in. Morey has been reported to 10 law enforcement agencies & is under investigation for a variety of criminal acts including securities fraud. Morey is now suddenly "retiring" & leaving California. Yahoo/Google search MOREYLINKS.
Hanegraaff is a brilliant theologian. All you need is a sound mind, dedication & determination to understand scripture. Hanegraaff has both. You do not have to know either Greek or Hebrew to know Christ. Anyone with average intelligence can easily break down the gospels if they the have desire. In my experience, the more educated the person, the more the their intellect gets in the way. Many over complicate & over analyze Gods word. David was a poor shepard, Peter & Andrew, humble fisherman.
"Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
@nickybadboy50 Not even close. The Internet has abundant information on Hanegraaff that doesn't gel with your rose colored glasses recommendation. I suggest you do some homework. Read the former employees' testimonies about how he deceptively took over the ministry, the employees who got fired for not rubber stamping his misuse of funds, etc., etc., etc. Go to waltermartin. com and see what Martin's eldest daughter has to say about Hanegraaff.
"It is interesting that Morey & Hanegraaff do not like each other at all & each discredits the other's ministry. It is also interesting that Hanegraaff moved from the West Coast to the East Coast while Morey moved from the East Coast to the West Coast. Both ministries have been involved in a lot of "drama" over the years."
That's for sure, and with all the rumors of Hank stealing C.R.I. (But I still have listened to him from time to time.)
Don't know much about Rob't Morey, but I did hear him spend 30 minutes denying a 15-second passage: Acts 2:38, then turn right around and deny that Mark 16:16 should even BE in the Bible. I suppose those verses prick pretty hard as his particular theology, but I thought they looked pretty simple.
Hank barely made it out of high school. SO WHAT? That disqualifies him as being a sound teacher. So what does a person who was a tent maker, fisherman, tax collector or whatever. The holy spirit is the best teacher. The guy in the video is a bumbling idiot. The same guys who attend all these great schools of doctrine and theology. Are the same guys who run around speaking in false tongues, pay tithes, shout & dance claiming it's the holy spirit. What's the point? School vaildates one? NOT!
"Allrequiredfields" here has pointed out insightfully a trait obviously lacking in "Truth Seeker" Bob Morey's moral nature, namely love. "Clanging gong & cymbol" terminology comes from 1 Corinthians 13: 1-13 where "love" must be a motivating factor in our Christian walk & preaching. Morey fails the test here. We've even done a video on this entitled, "Morey Fumbles Words, Angels & Love." Morey says he lacks perceived "love" because he comes from New York City (I didn't say it, he did!).
On viewing your other posts, the situation becomes clear: one self annointed "expert"(Moray) disses another self annointed "expert"(Hanegraaf). And because the second self annointed "expert"(Hanegraaf)had previously lavished praise upon your own little Weekly Reader effort, you've decided he's somehow more admirable and credible than the first self annointed "expert"(Moray).
Three dim-witted little chimps-all pretending to be "experts"..and fooling no one but themselves.
"BenAliGtor" get a grip! I am not trying to defend Hanegraaff beyond what is feasible. Hanegraaff definitely has skeletons in his closet (any google search on "Hank Hanegraaff" on the internet will tell you that) but my goal here is to focus on Morey, not Hanegraaff. These "truthseekerbobmorey" videos are meant to warn the public about what a fraud Morey is so they will not fall victim to his deceitful schemes (particularly in the financial realm). "Expert" Morey "fools" a lot of people.
Hank doesn't deny the foreknowledge of God. He has clearly said that he believes God knows everything. Please try to pay attention and get all facts correct.
"Winecheesery" you need to follow Walter Martin's advice & get YOUR mind in gear. You are the one who needs to PAY ATTENTION! If you will please use your brain you will discover that it was MOREY who said Hanegraaff denied the foreknowledge of God, we did not say it! This video is just another demonstration to show that Morey is a LIAR, get it? Morey does not tell the truth on not only Hanegraaff but on a lot of things, get it? Please watch this video again & perhaps you will understand.
Look man, you've got to be motivated by love in these conversations about God and his word. If we're s**t-talking on sports or Obama, fine, fire away but lets keep this topic civil, lest we become the hypocrites detailed in the very word we are speaking of.
"Allrequiredfields" is still dealing with "BenAliGtor" & the multiple comments he has made. Since I have already commented to "BenAliGtor" myself I'll let this ride.
"SaudaraLink" you are correct. Morey has a tremendous problem with pride along with all the other sins listed in Proverbs 6: 16-19. Morey has also claimed that he should have been put in at CRI instead of Hanegraaff which adds to his animosity towards Hanegraaff. The only degree Charles Haddon Spurgeon had was a "BA" degree meaning a "Born Again" degree as he said (which is good enough for me). Morey, because of his Proverbs 6 traits, attacks in all directions. Go saintaugustinian blogspot.
"The only degree Charles Haddon Spurgeon had was a "BA" degree meaning a "Born Again" degree as he said (which is good enough for me)."
Spurgeon was an evangelist. He never claimed to be a scholar. Hanegraaff-who has no education beyond high school- has never survived formal study of the languages of (Koine) Greek or Hebrew: if presented with an original authograph of scripture (written down as "God breathed" it, and not a translation), could "the Bible Answer Man" even read it? I doubt it.
"Allrequiredfields" has commented on "formalities." To cut to the chase in this particular video context is to point to the fact that formal education has its place but not in the way that Morey is using it in his argument here. Morey here is deceitfully arguing that Hanegraaff is supporting "open theism" which is not the case. Morey then "piles on" to his phoney premise by blasting Hanegraaff's educational background. This illustrates Morey's often used methodology in slandering others.
Ah, "BenAliGtor" you are no "evangelist" or "scholar" yourself, are you? Can you read Greek or Hebrew? You could if you tried. Abraham Lincoln taught himself law before he got into politics. I wasn't aware that Hanegraaff ever claimed to be a "scholar." "Truth Seeker" Bob Morey CLAIMS to be a "scholar" but is he? I can CLAIM to be a "grand master chess player" but am I? Morey makes a lot of CLAIMS about a lot of things but is he telling the truth? His "Islamic Invasion" proves he is not.
If presented with an original autograph of scripture (written down as "God breathed" it, and not a translation), could "the Bible Answer Man" even read it?
BTW, I earned my own doctorate by the time I reached my 26th birthday. Those lacking a legitimate formal education are the first ones to cry sour grapes when confronted by that fact. You may be right about Morey's lack of credentials- but that certainly doesn't make Sham-a-graaf an "expert".
"BenAliGtor" you seem to be under the delusion that I am here to defend Hanegraaff which is certainly not the case. Hanegraaff just happened to provide a useful platform here to show the public what a liar Morey is. I respect formal education since I hold a BA in Advertising from a major university but that's besides the point. The point here is that Morey is using a canard to attack Hanegraaff (see all the Christian blogs against Morey & his slanders, links at "saintaugustinian blogspot).
Confronted by what fact? What a boring argument. You could turn this around on those who are formally, legitimately(?) educated, who feel that simply their education arbitrarily grants them authority on matters. I know plenty of "legitimately" educated dolts. Furthermore, unless your doctorate specifically pertains to this conversation, save us the internet-boasting. And is it not Morey, the now apparently uneducated, throwing the first stone? ...honestly, why are you even commenting on this?
And of course, Luke was a physician in the First Century who never attended medical college.
Some, however, I think if you were diagnosed with cancer, your first reaction after prayer would be to seek consultation with someone whose education & training reflects 20 centuries of advancement: a board certified oncologist, published in a subspecialty relating to your particular diagnosis, and not a self taught quack whose educational background would be more akin to that of Luke.
"BenAliGtor" we accept your "apologies" for your "oversight." Based on what you have said in your several comments your use of the plural form of the word "apology" is appropriate to say the least. In case anyone missed it, the subject of this video is "Truthseeker" Bob Morey and his "oversights." Morey makes a big deal about "high school" Hanegraaff but conveniently leaves out his own numerous shortcomings which are legion (check out his lousy "scholarship" in the "Bloody Mary" video, etc.).
For our information "BenAliGtor" please inform us of "First Century medical colleges" with their accompanying rosters of professors (with their qualifying medical credentials for being teachers) & their lists of students & graduates. Please document for us your source material for this information & perhaps someone will take you seriously. While you're at it please provide educational data relating to medieval college professors who taught & believed alchemy & the flat earth to the credulous.
The rather massive oversight here is the necessitation of the Holy Spirit in judging the words and meanings of scripture. The requisites for healthcare are intellect and technology, but God will confound the simply 'educated' man, when trying to make sense of his word from a solely intellectual standpoint.
Your point, although an interesting sound-bite, has no relevance to this issue. Your intent is obviously to discredit Hanegraaff,so you have simply found the wrong youtube video to do so.
"Allrequiredfields" I like a man who knows his Bible & does not use that knowledge deceitfully. I like your reference here to 1 Corinthians 1: 18-31 particularly verse 27, "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty..."

What did we humans do? we worshiped the sun then us so called "intelligent" humans said it was all part of random processes and there is no God? He gave us Himself cloaked in flesh what did we say about Christ? No he is not messiah he was just a man like Odysseus. What more do we want God to do?

Help them!
goffnett 2 years ago
"goffnet" is making a point of college education & its inability & he is right. In this TRUTHSEEKERBOBMOREY video though it's not really a matter of college education versus ignorance but more a matter of deliberate & calculated slander by Morey. Morey uses "education" as a facade to cloak his real intention in harming Hannegraaff's reputation as best as he can. Criminal fraud & slander are Morey's trademarks (Yahoo MOREYLINKS - Morey is currently under investigation by federal authorities).
truthseekerbobmorey 2 years ago
I like your point "the1branch," it is short & succinct. Keep in mind that the one who is making all these high & mighty statements about "education" or the lack thereof, is Morey himself. Morey has set himself up as the final arbiter & judge as if he is actually qualified to do so. This is his "con game" tactic to snow his listeners into believing what he says. If Morey can convince listeners that he is this greatly educated "apologist" then he has won the con game. Don't believe him!

ok i didn't really understand the point of the video. i must have missed what you were trying to say.

Why do have the name "truthseekerbobmorey" then?
I don't get it at all. (?????!)
Vaekkrinhart 2 years ago

Morey has been reported to 10 law enforcement agencies & is under investigation for a variety of criminal acts including securities fraud. Morey is now suddenly "retiring" & leaving California.

You'll quit before you read it all. It's ugly.

I suppose those verses prick pretty hard as his particular theology, but I thought they looked pretty simple.
bjobe1964 3 years ago
Hank barely made it out of high school. SO WHAT? That disqualifies him as being a sound teacher. So what does a person who was a tent maker, fisherman, tax collector or whatever. The holy spirit is the best teacher. The guy in the video is a bumbling idiot. The same guys who attend all these great schools of doctrine and theology. Are the same guys who run around speaking in false tongues, pay tithes, shout & dance claiming it's the holy spirit. What's the point? School vaildates one? NOT!

It's plainly ad hominem.
What matters not is his formal education. It's the construction of his arguments.

We've even done a video on this entitled, "Morey Fumbles Words, Angels & Love." Morey says he lacks perceived "love" because he comes from New York City (I didn't say it, he did!).
truthseekerbobmorey 3 years ago

"Winecheesery" you need to follow Walter Martin's advice & get YOUR mind in gear. You are the one who needs to PAY ATTENTION! This video is just another demonstration to show that Morey is a LIAR, get it? Morey does not tell the truth on not only Hanegraaff but on a lot of things, get it? Please watch this video again & perhaps you will understand.

truthseekerbobmorey 3 years ago
"SaudaraLink" you are correct. Morey has a tremendous problem with pride along with all the other sins listed in Proverbs 6: 16-19. Morey has also claimed that he should have been put in at CRI instead of Hanegraaff which adds to his animosity towards Hanegraaff. The only degree Charles Haddon Spurgeon had was a "BA" degree meaning a "Born Again" degree as he said (which is good enough for me). Morey, because of his Proverbs 6 traits, attacks in all directions. Go saintaugustinian blogspot.
truthseekerbobmorey 3 years ago
"The only degree Charles Haddon Spurgeon had was a "BA" degree meaning a "Born Again" degree as he said (which is good enough for me)."
Spurgeon was an evangelist. He never claimed to be a scholar. Hanegraaff-who has no education beyond high school- has never survived formal study of the languages of (Koine) Greek or Hebrew: if presented with an original authograph of scripture (written down as "God breathed" it, and not a translation), could "the Bible Answer Man" even read it? I doubt it.
BenAliGtor 3 years ago
"Formal"? I'm no respecter of formalities.
allrequiredfields 3 years ago
"Allrequiredfields" has commented on "formalities." To cut to the chase in this particular video context is to point to the fact that formal education has its place but not in the way that Morey is using it in his argument here. Morey here is deceitfully arguing that Hanegraaff is supporting "open theism" which is not the case. Morey then "piles on" to his phoney premise by blasting Hanegraaff's educational background. This illustrates Morey's often used methodology in slandering others.
truthseekerbobmorey 3 years ago
Ah, "BenAliGtor" you are no "evangelist" or "scholar" yourself, are you? Can you read Greek or Hebrew? You could if you tried. Abraham Lincoln taught himself law before he got into politics. I wasn't aware that Hanegraaff ever claimed to be a "scholar." "Truth Seeker" Bob Morey CLAIMS to be a "scholar" but is he? I can CLAIM to be a "grand master chess player" but am I? Morey makes a lot of CLAIMS about a lot of things but is he telling the truth? His "Islamic Invasion" proves he is not.
truthseekerbobmorey 3 years ago
You still haven't answered the question:
If presented with an original autograph of scripture (written down as "God breathed" it, and not a translation), could "the Bible Answer Man" even read it?
BTW, I earned my own doctorate by the time I reached my 26th birthday. Those lacking a legitimate formal education are the first ones to cry sour grapes when confronted by that fact. You may be right about Morey's lack of credentials- but that certainly doesn't make Sham-a-graaf an "expert".
BenAliGtor 3 years ago
"BenAliGtor" you seem to be under the delusion that I am here to defend Hanegraaff which is certainly not the case. Hanegraaff just happened to provide a useful platform here to show the public what a liar Morey is. I respect formal education since I hold a BA in Advertising from a major university but that's besides the point. The point here is that Morey is using a canard to attack Hanegraaff (see all the Christian blogs against Morey & his slanders, links at "saintaugustinian blogspot).
truthseekerbobmorey 3 years ago
Confronted by what fact? What a boring argument. You could turn this around on those who are formally, legitimately(?) educated, who feel that simply their education arbitrarily grants them authority on matters. I know plenty of "legitimately" educated dolts. Furthermore, unless your doctorate specifically pertains to this conversation, save us the internet-boasting. And is it not Morey, the now apparently uneducated, throwing the first stone? ...honestly, why are you even commenting on this?
allrequiredfields 3 years ago
Obviously here "allrequiredfields" is turning his guns on "BenAliGtor" for his "education" comments so I'll stay out of this one.

Sounds snobby. Christ, Peter, John, etc. did not have advanced education.

BenAliGtor 3 years ago
"BenAliGtor" we accept your "apologies" for your "oversight." Based on what you have said in your several comments your use of the plural form of the word "apology" is appropriate to say the least. In case anyone missed it, the subject of this video is "Truthseeker" Bob Morey and his "oversights." Morey makes a big deal about "high school" Hanegraaff but conveniently leaves out his own numerous shortcomings which are legion (check out his lousy "scholarship" in the "Bloody Mary" video, etc.).
truthseekerbobmorey 3 years ago
For our information "BenAliGtor" please inform us of "First Century medical colleges" with their accompanying rosters of professors (with their qualifying medical credentials for being teachers) & their lists of students & graduates. Please document for us your source material for this information & perhaps someone will take you seriously. While you're at it please provide educational data relating to medieval college professors who taught & believed alchemy & the flat earth to the credulous.
truthseekerbobmorey 3 years ago
The rather massive oversight here is the necessitation of the Holy Spirit in judging the words and meanings of scripture. The requisites for healthcare are intellect and technology, but God will confound the simply 'educated' man, when trying to make sense of his word from a solely intellectual standpoint.
Your point, although an interesting sound-bite, has no relevance to this issue. Your intent is obviously to discredit Hanegraaff,so you have simply found the wrong youtube video to do so.
allrequiredfields 3 years ago
"Allrequiredfields" I like a man who knows his Bible & does not use that knowledge deceitfully.
