  • Funny how we cant see where his feet are

  • way and way to fast, try H.I.T. you can do about 5 then

  • i am 12 and i can do 35 but i strugle and they dont look good :)

  • @nadia0ebmocnud0 im 8 years old and i can do 46 with a 10kg dumbell between my legs. the form is not perfect though

  • asshole you stand on floor

you didnt film your leg in

  • @skylegend16866 Jellous much ? :D

    Good work !

  • they are not chin ups your arms have to stretch completly so you arms have to be fully straight that where the strain come in doing 31 chin ups like that is easy cause you not putting any or your only putting a small amount of pressure on your arm muscles

  • everyone's an expert on youtube...

  • cchuck noris could do that whith his third arm

  • i've been training for 2months now and i can do 40+ easy, is that normal because u look way more trained than me.

  • @147258166 Some people are made for doing bodyweight exercises and you are one of them, my friend. :) 40+ chin-ups! You should upload that on youtube.

  • @147258166 Could be because you have less weight then him to pull up? :)

  • u need to go down all the way

  • great work man. good form bad form who gives a shit you pumped them out and they look good to me.

  • @chebra36 Thanks, man! And merry christmas!

  • You started swinging your lower body and using your legs for momentum towards the end. Good job, but I wouldn't call this a full 31 chin-ups.

  • horrible, horrible.

  • Go down all the way

  • Quantity < Quality (form)

  • not proper..

  • you dont go all the way down, you have to have fully extended arms when you are down for it to be a real chin up

  • Good job man! fuck what these other people saying YOU WENT DOWN ENOUGH 2 ME!

  • Impressive more than most can do.Put please next time have the cam so we can see the floor so we know your not jumping off the floor every time you go down.

  • @swag3

only doing chin ups are for fools like u!

  • @swag3

the fck u talking about. he's doing pull ups u monkey : D

  • this guy is jumping, what a puss

  • hey, why dont you not kick your legs up and maybe u can drop your arms.....ALL THE WAY!!! i can do the right technique 21 times. Now, just follow those two techniques and you'll get the maximum rep with no momentum

  • Totally gay.

  • Im tired of seeing all these videos of people doing half chin ups.

  • Couldn't see your legs, their much harder if done with slower and your not going down far enough. Sorry not impressed.

  • nice job bro, ive started doing pull ups casually about 6 weeks ago. I started on about 5 pull ups, now i can do about 12-14 which is alright i guess.

ignore the haters, theres always douchebags like that in vids like this

  • im 13 200lbs and i can do 75 strict chin ups in a row from dead hang no kipping

  • PUUUUSSSSYYYY!

  • im 12 years old and i can do uhm like 12 chin ups but i dont go dead hang i go down till my arms are about 70-90 degrees cause im just a kid :P

  • @dgsaxl1935 Go all the way down, even if you have to do less. Do them properly. I would be far more impressed by somebody doing 20 proper ones than 40 fake ones.

  • that fine

except the fact that i dont see the 2nd part of your body (might using legs)

and the way you are placing your arms in incorrect

i think you can do it better

  • i could do 5000 this is nuttin

  • Impressive, ignore the idiots whining about "your form sucks!" They'll say anything to make themselves feel better.

  • nice

  • My weight is about 85 kg but I suck at chin-ups... I really can't do much, my record was like 10 and even not clean. What's the reason? Can you give any tips? I heard that the most role play the back muscles, not the arm muscles.

  • No! No! - brutal forum I bet if i put a gun to your head and told you to 8 chinups with perfect forum I would have to blow your brains across the room. Theres no room for cheaters bud so stop it.

  • You would lose that bet.

  • @housti Then lets see you do 8 fully extended chin-ups. Also, you must pause at the top and bottom for 1 second. Further, your resistance speed on the way down has to be longer then the speed on your way up. Waiting for your post.

  • Where in the hell have you heard that??? Why do you have to stop at the top and bottom? That's just stupid. They don't do that kind of stuff in real chin-up tournaments.

By the way, you don't have anything to show on your page. Come talk to me when you have posted something worth watching, boy.

  • @housti OWNED!!!

  • @housti sorry housti but catss's right, if you don't pause at the top you will do only one motion, wich is not good at all for your muscles. Also, you really do need to slow your way down. there is no chin-up if you leave yourself free-falling after the pull up.Finally, if I'm seeing well, there's a little bump on your body after every chins. meaning that you are not doing chin-ups you are just jumping while holding a chin-up bar. Come talk to me when you post a video worth watching, boy.

  • Hi, I'm relatively inexperienced with chin ups, could you help me out? Some people on youtube say do it slowly and go all the way down until your arms are straight. Others say do as many as you can going half way down like you just did.

I just wanted to ask which is the correct form and also do you do other excercises for the biceps other then chin ups?

    Thank you

  • @gundamWWW For fuck's sake, go all the way down. Not going all the way down is a cheap gambit to increase your numbers. It's no different than not going all the way down when bench pressing, or only going down halfway when doing push ups. People cut out the hardest part of the exercise for the sole purpose being able to say they can do more than they really can.

BTW, these were not chin ups in the video.

  • @housti

YOu build more strenght whilst going down slowly. If you go fast like you did you are using your momentum

  • @housti

You have togo all the way down

  • @housti Your right you get more a workout if you dont fully extend because your muscle does not take a break, instead it has to work more to bring u back up.

  • @TheYungFlyz That's bullshit. Anybody can crank out more if they don't fully extend, and it's because they leave out the hardest phase of the exercise. It's no different than going down all the way when benching or squatting; it serves no purpose other than saying you can do more chin-ups than you really can.

  • @housti i dont normaly comment.. But for best work out. u need to pause.

  • @catstevensssss You're fucking stupid. Since when are supposed to pause for any period of time? Fully extending your arms with each rep is enough.

  • @catstevensssss relax

  • U know i'm starting to have a feeling that u jump up after u go down.

  • ur doing it wrong

  • i go down until i'm hanging. with my legs bend back (i'm 6 2") 10 is my max at the mo but 12 in the next few days

  • Good job dude! I can only do 18.

  • mä saan vaa 30 :( mut oon 16veee

  • Good start. Check out 39 by cwestfittness and she is a girl!

  • he is jumping!! you can heir the noise when his feet touches the ground!!!!

    FAKE DUMB ASS

  • congrats you did 1 correct chin up, your first one! I imagine you can do 15 max fully extended REAL chin ups

  • @EhhMonn haha i'm 14 and i can do 34 chin ups. but im 112 pounds. I could only do 3 but after 4 months of practising i have the record for chin ups at my high school. and take that marines.

  • Some people just aren't good at chin ups.

  • whats the diffrence between chinups and pull ups?? plz reply

  • @sergioskatendless chin ups are palms facing towards you like here, close grip. Pull ups are palms facing away with a wider grip.

  • Don't listen to these internet fitness gurus. Most people can't even do 5. II can barely do 30 but in sets. Good job tho.

  • the man said they're not the best form chin ups in the description...good man!

  • sorry for my english ..it sucks:)

  • you not doing It right..your arms must by straight every time when you in the bottom position..the thing is doing the training right..it doesnt matter how many you do when you DOING IT WRONG. Hard Way Hard Way

  • nice but you need to straighten out your arms more before moving on to the next one

  • impressive, i cant even do one :P

  • most people can't (like myself) when starting, give it some time and the muscles will develop

  • i can hear ur feet hitting the ground

  • All the way down buddy. Those are not real chin ups. Sorry. But keep practicing.

  • looked ok to me. stop crying and show us your chin-ups Lol

  • Thanks, man! I applied for the Emergency Service Unit and these kind of chin-ups were just fine during the fitness test. You got max points for doing 14 chin-ups. Piece of cake! ;-)

  • @housti good job bro, too many haters... and at least u can do more chin ups than a U.S. marine. youtube "marine pull up nyc"....it's quite sad really...

  • Thanks man! I eat marines for breakfast. :D Just kidding.

  • @lucirz You're kidding right, each marine has to do 50 a day, required!

  • @gusisyodaddy 50 a day does not equal 50 continuous chin ups. also i do not kid, just youtube that video if you do not believe me.

  • @housti

  • I don't want to be a hater but the people that are saying these are only partials are right.

  • @poolboyinla and too fast. Everyone I seen on youtube has a 20 plus vid, and they are ALWAYS going to fast.

  • NOT COMPLETE . Better practice to do it right and after post it.. sorry but it true!

  • not to hate or anything but the first 10-20% of the motion from a _fully extended_ dead hang are the hardest part of the exercise. i could do pull ups with arms ALMOST extended almost from day 1, but it took me 2 months to get to the first real full dead hang pull up (i also gained 5kg in the process, prolly some of it muscle, which didnt help :)). same applies to chin ups. try to do the full exercise on a higher bar. youll be stronger for it

  • ur weak. jk

  • Can I do pushups half way and have those count also during a PT test? The answer is no, they don't count. Five eighths to three quarters is not a real pull up. Divide the number 31 you brag about by 2, that is the actual number you can do in a fully extended downward position.

  • look slike legs touching the ground

  • good work man, no matter if fully extended or not ... if u dont extent 100% ur muscles at least work all the time and dont rest between the reps!

  • This is not proper chinups my friend...your arms have to fully lock, this is like 75% locked

  • You did 29 near good form pull-ups the last 2 you swung your legs which gives you lift and makes it easier for you arm's but still good performance.

Try doing 31 with your arm's fully extended and do them slowly work's your biceps more or try wide chin ups for your lats slowly

  • this isnt a chin up its a pull up and its 10 times easier then the real ones

  • chinup = palms facing you

    pullup = palms facing away

    chinups are easier than pullups.

  • you have it backwards

  • Fucking this.

  • hes jumping off of the ground notice he doesnt show his feet in the vid

  • Hey man! Good Job. I usually just do 12-14 once every couple days or so and it really shows! I don't usually try to do it so quickly though.

  • wow bukkk shit every time he comes down u can hear him bounce on swomthing

  • these kind of chin ups are mainly biceps training do wide chin ups for lat.

  • a door frame is 6 foot 6 inches, stretched arms two inches from the top... You must be a chip up dwarf.

  • Wow, you're so funny.

  • 6 foot and funny :D

  • 30? 0.0

  • do em right, or don't do em at all

  • Exactly!

  • @FrankGarrett316 i cant do em right anymore due to a shattered elbow in iraq. i now do pullups similar to this form. are they not the right way still?

  • ya he's totally touching the floor when he goes down, look how his grip loosens when he goes down

  • ur supposed to go all the way down n ur prolly jumping of the floor, next put the camera vieiw where we can see ur whole body

  • Ok, I will.

  • i'm a twelve year old girl and i can do 48.you have to go up all the way

  • shut up

  • shut the hell up lol

  • Hey SexyFrog, I dont know where you learned English but the definition of a chin-up is in its name. You have to bring your chin all the way up and then you have to fully extend your arms and go all the way back down. That is a chin-up! He is doing half-ass chin-ups! I could probably do 50 half ass ones but real ones are a lot harder to do. So suck it you dyke!

  • i could do 18 and im 16

  • i dont doubt it but your probably like 135lb

  • how many times have you hit your head

  • 4100435608 is correct! Those are not chin-ups! He is not going all the way down. Your arms must be fully extended at 180 degrees for it to be a chin ups. Those are like half chin-ups!

  • Wrong, you dumbass.

  • its still good .i know he didnt went all the way down but its not bad .i try it 3 days ago and did 20 proper form .i dont know if i could do 30 i am not used to do them like this guy .on the info says hes 78 koilo thats 171.6 pounds .

  • pointless not going all the way down, no wonder your fat

  • @4100435608 haha thats not very nice ?

  • I can do 15 proper ones in one set by going all the way down, but after that it's hard to do another 15 reps in one set.

  • lol when i was 18 i could do 50, but with straight arms unlike this guy NO PROBLEM.

2 years on and im crying like a baby at 6.

    dont smoke

  • nice job bro, all i can do is 3. But im only 12 and i just started

  • not going down all the way

  • very nice

  • is this special because i just started with chin ups (well actually my first attempt to gain some muscle i am 14 an can do 12 clean chin ups the 5th time or so, maybe i am superman

    ^^ JK

  • nice bro.

  • I can do 10 chin-ups strict form but i have a question do u have to fully extend is that the normal way or no? cause i seen people barely go down

then i see others go most way but i usually just go dead weight where i am fully extended and did 10... i do these at my gym but i have a tree outside where this branch is pretty good for them

  • you dont go down all the way.. do it again, do it right.

  • I could only do 30 in the past, slow motion though.

  • Wouldn't pass an Army chin up test, he's not going all the way down

  • your right

  • if he went all the way down

he would lock his elbow joint

    and that's bad

  • join the marines and tell them that.... we go full extension or they dont count at all

  • I can only do 15, but i go ALL the way down....much harder by lifting your entire body up again and again, not just half way up, all the way down and up

  • You aren't going all the way down. The arms need to lock out.

  • I train few chins everyday, and have trained that for atleast half a year no, still I dont manage to be able to do any more than maybe 6.

  • wow you are doing something wrong then, i was able to get 10 after 3 weeks and i dont lift weights or anything

  • Dunno what I could do wrong. I start from hanging and pull myself up fast and go down slower and up fast again.

  • do 5 then take like a 30 min break then do 5 again. try that for a few days then take a day or two off to give the muscles time to build up. then try 7 twice a day then a few days later take a day off. its not the most profesional way to do it but thats kinda the way i did and i can see improvement.

  • lmao my little brothers only 15 and he can do 30 without stopping

  • Great job man. Would like to see how many pull ups you can do next. Those are the really tough ones for me.

  • What kind of chin-up bar are you using? If you could send me a message I would appreciate it.

  • nice but ur not going all the way down, be interesting to see how many u could do if u did, i can do between 10-13 going all the way down, chin ups are tough!

  • thats not true if he slowed down and controlled himself he wouldnt swing i can't do 31 but i do as many as i can with minimal swinging cause it go abit slower and you get a better results than rushing to do 31 id rather do 15 good 1z than 30 bad 1z

  • not bad, not bad buddy... but still....

  • quality over quantitym my friend... :)

  • you cant do 5 stop hating pussy

  • i aint hating, just making a point for his own good, and i can do 16 strict and wide grip pull ups nad 18 deadhang chin ups,if you want ill post a video

  • go all the way down u douche,

  • ayakların yeere carpio amcık aazlı :D yermiyim ben bunları

  • do these things stuff up the side of your door?

  • I can do 100+ NUGGU!!!

  • I just some one doing 31 USMC chin ups and thats what I call the best fit possible...

  • The thing these people never realize when they post comments about go down to straight arms, is if you do that, you start to swing. And swing a lot. The only way that you can always go to straight arms is to have a partner in front of you keeping you from swinging. That's why in gym class when they are testing you for reps they always have someone ahead of you with a straight arm to keep you from swinging. Just my two cents.

  • thats a great point and could never realise how i would always be swinging almoast uncontrolably. Now i know!

  • True, but if you cross your legs and pull them all the way back, this prevents swinging a lot.

  • get a babe to hop on his back while doing these - then I'll be impressed

  • Arms are always bent, this makes it easier to do. Do each form a dead-hang and see how many you can get. Also, at the end your kicking up using your legs. This adds to the number of reps but usually do not count because it's considered cheating.

  • when thes start getting to easy i just put some weight plates in a rucksack works really good and u will see some good mass gains on the biceps

  • impressive but u should really do them with striaght arms. much more effective for ur arms and more impressive.

    however still good performance

  • agree

  • fake

  • Nice, but...

Full chin-up is from ready position (straight arms, not bended in elbows) to chin above the bar.

Most of your chin-ups is "half chin-ups" - starts from bended elbow.

In some professional test like in army that chin-ups will be deleted from your overall score.

  • No justiin mää saan vaa 1 lihaksen....

  • Moni mieskään ei saa yhtä leukaa. Ole ylpeä. ;-)

  • ..its fake ? lmfao

  • Those are 31 half chin ups. He didn't go down all the way...

  • YES!

  • ive done 50 can probley do around 70

but i usaly put 20kg weight on me and get 8-12

  • When i do chin-ups i do them in three series. I usually pull first 8 then 15 and finally 26 chin-ups. I have evolved during a few months quite fast when doing chin-ups in three series instead of pulling just once. I have trained chin-ups erratically about 10 years. I haven't tried my record for long time. My weight is 100 kg.

  • i can do 15 and im 13>.> *i suck*

  • thats pretty embarassing

  • nah i've seen some fats doing those they cant even get 1 now thats embarassing
