Jerry Yester was with the Spoonful from the first album, but wasn't part of the band. He actually owns the only live tape of the band done at the Night Owl Cafe. When Zally had to leave Jerry was the most logical choice to take his place. Oddly enough both Zally and Jerry ended up producing Tim Buckley.

Three. Joe Butler (former drummer), Steve Boone on bass and Jerry Yester who replaced Zal on Everything Playing and has been with them ever since.
