@JivaRiah That footage (shot by someone else) made me go out and buy a camcorder. It seems like before I saw that video all the home video concert footage I had seen looked and sounded terrible, but when I played that video and listened to it in surround sound I was completely blown away.

I recorded the entire audio of this concert. I need to transfer it to my computer one day. I always had to travel a long distance just to see them, since they hardly ever came to Houston, but they're worth it!

I was there at the show and saw them in the crowd hanging out, so I had a chance to go up to them and tell them how great I thought they were. Actually, my friend dbl dog dared me and that gave me the courage to go up to them. They were really nice.

I went up to Carrie before the show and told her that I loved the short film she starred in called "Fan Mail" and she burst out laughing. That was pretty much it for me. She seemed nice.

Corin fucking abuses and tortures the HELL out of her voice, and it always comes scurrying back to her. she's so talented.

i only got to see them when they toured for the Hot Rock @ Fitzgeralds. They kinda blew off Houston for "All hands on the bad one" for Austin, but came back with Pearl Jam for "one beat" which i didn't go to...*sigh*

I blew off the Pearl Jam concert too. I can't understand why S-K stopped playing Houston. They always had good crowds. I remember seeing them on the "Dig Me Out" tour at Fabulous Satellite Lounge on a Saturday at5:00 P.M. show that was really great. The Fitz concert w/ Versus was cool also. I've got a Seatle concert that was shot a few weeks before the Fitz show and they did pretty much the same set. So it's almost like I got that show on video.

it works! i was at this show, and remember not knowing any of the new songs because the album didn't come out for another two months. amazing show :)

That's great! I just tried it last night and it didn't work. I guess these things correct themselves eventually. Did you stay until the very end of the concert? Carrie's guitar string broke on the last song and the band left the stage. A lot of people thought the show was over, but they came back with a great encore.
