@Class317Max Yeah its amazing in there. thing with weekend upgrades is you dont get all the food and the meals. You should try a peak time and get a full english breakfast.

@harrisonaard1 I traveled from Manchester Piccadilly to Milton Keynes first class with virgin trains for less than £25. Booked in advance and had a student rail card. Without the railcard it still comes up to about 30 odd quid. Not bad for service like this! Having found that deal, I seldom travel standard class with Virgin Trains if I can help it. That being said, Virgin's seats are a bit rigid. Nothing on the big soft seats you get with East Coast. But no free drinks or food with East Coast.
