Papelbon has an ERA of 3.9 which is AWFUL for a closer. Gagne as in Eric Gagne (proof you didn't watch the red sox before last year). The sox signed him and paid a ton and he turned out awful. Francona should be playing Reddick (BA .414) instead of JD. And Matsuzaka has a career era of 4.25. Every yankee pitcher has a lower career and season era.

Crawford doesn't all of a sudden suck, he'll be back, remember he's young. Next year we have Reddick, a better crawford, a better Jenks, a better Buccholz, a better Dice-K, and so forth.
