Allah SWT says that there has not been an nation that has not been sent a Prophet/Messenger to warn them and guide them to Al Islam- the oneness of Allah SWT. Prior to Muhammad SAWS was Isa (Jesus) A.S. That is the one they have to say. The people of Nuh (Noah) have to say Noah and so on and so fourth and Allah u Allam.

@schoolbusfan when Muslims refer to syed'na Mohamed (alai il salaat wa'l salaam) as 'Abd' it does not mean 'slave'...even though Arabic as a language uses the word 'abd' in that context when referencing humans, when in reference to our Prophet (alai il salaat wa'l salaam) it actually means 'servant'. Some people may say there isn't much of a difference and it's difficult to explain here with a character limit, but 'slave' implies an unwillingness not assumed in the will of a servant.
