Ive met Mr. Jones personally thru one of my architectural project manager...i cant wait until 5 more days..for the big kick off...plip, plip, ploom!! we got our tickets
In 1989 when Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys, shortly thereafter he began adding luxury boxes & suites to increase revenue. This does not include all the wheeling and dealing of players and front office administration.
During the initial 2 1/2 yrs of Jones ownership, he was losing $40,000 per day. The day he made his first ever profit of owning the Dallas Cowboys, he made $4.20..
How bad life must be when you are so miserable that you knock and put down anything. And by the way, the City is going to make more money out of this than if they would have invested the money and waited 100 years to cash it in.
I'll make this simple. Does it matter how much money the city put in ? THEY voted for it.
Concerning the homeless. There are problems and resources to get every one of them off the streets. Many of them choose that lifestyle, and don't want any help. Sadly, some are mental cases that are of no harm to themselves, but still remain in their predicament.
So...don't try your guilt trip non-sense of a billion dollar stadium here.
How much money have you given to the homeless this year?

I give Jerry Jones credit for this.
He gave the Cowboys, their fans and the city a beautiful stadium.
Everyone will benefit from this.

Na.
That mans is worth billions, let me say that again: BILLIONS.
So, just their first game day there made I think it was around 25 million dollars in revenue.
So. It will take quite a few years to get the money back out of it, but: Football, Concerts and other attractions, Yea.
Good times a head for the Cowboys.

"Jones' enthusiasm is clear and infectious as he points out the detail in every corner of the 3 million square foot building."
Hmmm... I wonder if he pointed out the detail that the scoreboard wasn't installed high enough. LOL.
Over a billion spent on the stadium and he still has that cheap looking hair piece.

How much of the money to make the stadium came from the city? enough money to build stadiums but not enough to feed the homeless.
