  • I actually saw this plane over the weekend, I didn't however get a ride in it. Excellent piece of heavy metal, and it's liberating to know.. the Witchcraft is the last flying B-24.

  • @Bowlinking Last flying B-24? Man that's sad!

  • Absolutely fantastic. The gorgeous deafening roar of those engines would be more than worth the cost of admission for me

  • I can't understand why there are so few hits on this, it's an excellent piece of film.

  • my grandfather was a waste gunner on the liberator over china, india and burma

  • Absolutely awesome! I just took a flight here in Tacoma/Narrows here in Washington state just yesterday on this Liberator as the Collings foundation came through our town. This video is wonderful!

  • I got to ride it over Seattle and up to Bellingham WA. several years ago it was awesome! Didn't have to pay a dime, but had to find my own way home! LOL =)

    No problem!

  • Love that plane. I love the old sound

  • They all "leak" oil. Its not a matter of money, it's gravity at work. That's why you always see them walk the props through multiple times before start up. That clears the oil from the lower cylinders to prevent a hydraulic lock.

  • I remember when these came through Phoenix, they landed at KGEU - my homebase. It was a big scene but they charge alot for the rides. They weren't letting us walk through the Libby either which makes me sad as its my favorite bomber from the era. Still pretty neat seeing one in the pattern.

  • This is the best video of what it's like to fly in a B-24 Liberator I've seen...! Only prob I had was I think my Hat flew off during take off.....lol.

  • ill bye it from him for $15

  • Lovely - someone tell me how to fly in bombers like these. Very hard in Sweden...

  • @bipollh this B-24 was here in Virginia on the east coast of the states bipollh, will be back in the fall...... just bring your credit card, will cost you about $400.00 to ride in a Liberator or Flying Fortress.... $1300 for some time in a P-51 Mustang.. I like how this guy edited his footage with his friends on the ground....and yes lovely sound and sites... he must be a Texas State U alumni...

  • ive been in it. isnt it like 500 buck to fly in it? its the only flying one left in the world.

  • Yeah Im not surprised, it was puking oil when I saw it. First thing they did was jump out and throw down a million catch cans. I dont know whats so hard about fixing leaks on a bird like this other than nobody wanting to shell out the cash...

  • Very meaty bomber. Much perfer to be in one of those than a B-17. Also arnt the yellow shells on the side painted onto the plane. Mean how Many other planes it shot down??

  • in fighter planes that is.

in this case its the bombing missions flown by the plane.

  • Favorite WW2 bomber ever. Safest plane of the war.

  • thats the only flying one left in the world. ive been in it.

  • You are so lucky dude!

Did you have to pay alot?

  • wouldent wanna be in a 65 year old tin can. who knows what'll happen when you lift off, the whole thing could come apart

  • your more likely to die in a car accident than in a plane.

and im pretty sure they keep that B-24

    in top condition.

  • not likely, i hate cars, i drive motorcycles
