John; Thanks for posting a truly beautiful song but a real shame you didn't get the ending in it would have made the song complete. As for Mario Lanza, Well the human singing voice just doesn't get any better than this.Mario might not have been the Operatic voice of Franco Corelli but Corelli could never sing a song like this and compare to Mario, so who was better? I pick Mario because he could step into the Opera genre as well as popular music and still be Fastastic.

Dear Johnny, Some of mario's best work was done at tha recorder studio's LA. The coke takes were not ment for release at first but as Mario could not record for RCA due to a law suit they were later released. Regards TERRY.
