  • Great song :-)

  • These cats played at my brothers club in Brooklyn back in 77'. They were awesome. RIP Jimmy.

  • Cant wait to make a video to this!!!

  • if you love this song as much as I do then you naturally would want to hear the full length version. R.I.P. Jimmy Williams

  • @fanofprotopic Was he the lead singer? If so, didn't know he passed....

  • @newark boi u r sadly mistaken my friend.

  • @MrDeathdealer79 I think newark was trying to say the TERM House Music came from Chicago. People in the N.Y. area been calling that same style of music " Club Music" for years. Everybody knows Frankie knuckles is an import to Chicago from N.Y.; Brooklyn to be exact. When he landed there, that's where that TERM House Music started. Much love, Newark, NJ. 973....07102 .

  • One of my old time favorites!! Oh how I remember.

  • I'm happy to have found yet another awesome song,

sad on the other hand for being born in a time after the disco/funk era where music is seen as a source of money rather than a source of joy.

  • this is the best jam from the 70s that ive ver danced to!!!!! i could could dance to his all night long too!!!!

    BlackTwiggyBeverly

  • I can dance to this ALL NIGHT LONG! One of my top five favorite songs EVER!

  • This song is truly one of my all time favorites.

  • @SuperSandy54 Great minds think alike then! I've uttered similar sentiments to my kids - when I go - the vinyl STAYS! As for this tune, well what more is there to say, that hasn't already been uttered? Just a brilliant BRILLIANT groove, from their fantastic 1st album.

  • To all you all Chi-town cats who claim house came from Chicago, here are some Philly cats back in '76, House is another word for the "sound of Philadelphia". Double exposure, MFSB, First choice ect.........

  • @newarkboy22 Amen to that! The output from Philly in that era staggers the soul. And this song is the best of the best. To this day, i can't keep still when I hear it.

  • The episode aired on April 23, 1977 with guests Teddy Pendergrass and Double Exposure (the band, not the TV show).

  • ....Music (sigh)........

  • The lead singer is the one and only James Williams. The group is in the studio producing a new CD collection.

  • I love to look at the crowd. They be jamming and don't give damn who is looking. Matter of fact, if you was there and had time to look, then you were the lame.

  • What a voice ! What''s the name of the lead singer ?

  • @jeffbeck70 ... James Williams sings lead for Double Exposure.
