GREAT MOVIE! Classic Barbara Hershey! (1982) Almost 30 years now I would love to see "hollywood" try to remake this classic.....some cannot beat the originals!
@559mrbear There are actually very few movies that have been remade that I think are better than the originals. "War of the Worlds" with Tom Cruise is one I like the remake of. I'm pretty sure that rumor about the "ghost" in Three Men and a Baby is false. There's a particular scene where you see what looks like a young boy standing behind a curtain. It does look creepy. But I read somwhere that it was just a life-sized cardboard cut-out of a young kid that was left there accidentally during filming. Cheers! :)

What surprises me most, is the display of (functional) nudity. I know Barbara as a broad minded actress, but I mean, this was an American production, right? Wasn't it censored at the time and in subsequent tv runs?
If the thing was from another dimension it could not be trapped by this world's physics. What was it there in the ice? Curiously, some people tell me they see some satyr-like creature breaking out for a moment... But I don't see it.

Now I realize not everything in it is 100% accurate (movies add a lot of non existent drama) but I believe its accurate enough to scare hell out of all of us!! @NYCParanormal a closer investigation found that it was in fact carla being haunted because nothing has happened since as to the reason behind the haunting is still a matter of debate but to this day since moving out of the house the original still experiences attacks but not as severe

@napachild I'm actually hearing the "C" word as well! Certainly the T at the end of it. A harmless entity would use her name but as this thing is completely malevolent I can see it using vulgarity to try and demean her as a woman and thus the C word would make sense. I'd need to see the script for the definite answer, though. Not a word heard much in 80's movies though, but with the rape scenes it kinda fits. I originally thought it was inchoherent growls :p

Wow. What a splendid and excellent acted movie, and with a minimum of special effects for a change!
What surprises me most, is the display of (functional) nudity. I know Barbara as a broad minded actress, but I mean, this was an American production, right? Wasn't it censored at the time and in subsequent tv runs?

If the thing was from another dimension it could not be trapped by this world's physics. What was it there in the ice? Curiously, some people tell me they see some satyr-like creature breaking out for a moment... But I don't see it.

yeh i did struggle to find part 1, yeh i think there are some things that we cannot explain, like ouja boards for example. there are some things we cannot comprehend. thats what makes the supernatural even more interesting

really chilling movie thanks for the upload, yeh it is based on a true story, for hundreds of years theres been stories of incubus and succubus demons, so who knows this might just be true.

@27cruicky I'm pretty sure its true. I'm one of those people that believe in evil just as much as good. Its another situation of "why her?" What in the world did she do to cause this? Its like asking why God takes people when He does and causes so much pain. The most chilling part is that science could not destroy this thing. Slowed it down some, but didn't destroy it. I believe only God can destroy evil.

@princess0724326 Your welcome! The most interesting part is that this is based on an actual case that occurred back in 1976. Now I realize not everything in it is 100% accurate (movies add a lot of non existent drama) but I believe its accurate enough to scare hell out of all of us!! Why did some evil entity (I believe it to be a demon) start picking on this poor woman to start with? And science didn't destroy it--just weakened it. Its something to pray for that we are spared this!
