OMG. My mouse was failing on me and I decided to clean it because somebody told me that my mouse failing may have been simply becuase of it being dirty... I cleaned it... SO MUCH BUILD UP. And now it works! Thank you so much for making this video.

A ball-mouse is an optical mouse where the interaction of the ball and the rollers drives a pair of optical choppers. Cleaning the ball can be helpful, but the rolled and impacted ring of debris on the rollers has to be pried loose. The plastic clip on the removable cap of a ballpoint pen is good for this. You can then use the cloth to give the rollers a wipe. A laser-optical mouse avoids this problem, but is susceptible to surface fluff and/or hand-grease on the desk's surface.

You can submerge your ENTIRE motherboard, and everything else into 99% Alcohol, and it wont harm it.

Of course you NEED to wait until it is completely dry, before using it :-)

I take my mouse apart to clean it all the way in side, but the last time i did it a spring came off of the scroll wheel part, and now I can barely touch it and it'll switched turbo scroll. Can you please tell me how to fix it?
