  • I recently purchased a Dinair system. Although I have not had an opportunity to use. In your tutorial you mentioned you could use any kind of airbrush makeup you wanted, as long as it is intended for airbrushing. My question is does it matter if the makeup is waterbase or silicone? Thank you for sharing your gift and talent. . I am a huge fan!

  • @lhe6416363 I know this is late but NEVER use a silicone based airbrush makeup in an airbrush machine unless it's specifically made for silicone makeup. Dinair is for water based and alcohol based makeup, silicone makeup will clog up your machine.

  • Your name is lauren?? Look at her necklace!

  • He reason te makeup forever powder has a bad review is because it is white and It goes on your skin white and takes forever to blend

  • Great review.

lol that's really funny how the thing lights up lmao!

I have the Luminess Air Brush kit. i like. and I feel the same way about airbrush eyeshadow. Which I'v tried.ehh.. btw have you done airbrush eyeshadows??

  • This was helpful, thanks.

  • i love muy dinair!!

  • I am in love with the dinair system! I think the small one runs for $249 which is very well priced compared to other systems. It comes with everything you need as well as two foundation colors and then additional colors I believe are $19, my bottles have lasted almost two months. All together I believe it to be a good investment I used to use the Laura mercier foundation which I love but it was $42 and I had to buy it like every month it seemed like! Hope this helps you guys and queenofblending

  • Super question is this better in your professional opinion for certain types of skin? Like I have super dry skin and if I use some make ups it looks super dry/ oily/ ashy on my skin.

  • I've always wanted to get one of these, but I feel that it might be time consuming. How long does it take to do your full face? (:

  • I'm having such a hard time deciding whether I want to buy this or not. I probably did like hours of research. And while I haven't seen any complaints, I just can't tell whether it's worth it or not.

  • That looked so cool kind of scared me, reminded me of the dentist for some reason lol but cool. Is the whole dinair airbrush real expensive?

  • im considering of getting a dinair...how are you liking it so far?

  • Comment removed

  • "Just so i know if we're at the same "about to die" level... if it comes to that"

    LOL

  • HEY girly startin off in the makeup world as a artist..Im not sure which way to go regualr foundation or airbrush foundation....if airbrush foundation which system?

I hope u can help thankx in advance

  • Hi, I just want to start off by saying I love your videos!!! Great Job!!!

My question, may be silly and I should probably know the answer, but I'm going to ask anyway: Why did you apply your blush first and then go over it with your foundation? Isn't it usually the other way around?

I'd like to get into airbrushing and would love to know, in case you've found that is a better method. Hope to hear from you soon!

  • you being accused of airbrushing your eyeshadow is just a testament of how much of a professional and talented make-up artist you are!

This was fun. I think the blinking light is hilarious! im not sure if i would buy something like that for myself..but it looks cool!

  • yeah you get accuse of air brushing your eyeshadows cos its so blended well it looks like u have lol love it. thanks for sharing

  • Okay Lauren I love you, Now I'm not sure if it's possibly the lighting but that Dinair foundation makes your skin look really ashy. You're extremely warm toned and would work the best with a yellow based foundation, this one makes your skin take on this mushroom-gray like color that just doesn't do your beauty justice.

But of course this observation could just be nothing more than bad lighting. For all I know in real life it could look fantastic .

  • @Counterbrilliance it's the light bulb I recently changed in my little lamp that I use for lighting. the foundation was fine :(

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA Awww okay. Yeah I noticed it cast a cool toned shadow on you throughout the video, that's why I thought it was the makeup that was making you look ashy. Lighting is always tricky when working infront of the camera.

  • can you do a tutorial please on using lip tars as contour products

  • Do you HAVE to buy their foundations? Or can you put your own in there?

  • @pristineejustinee you can put whatever airbrush foundations you want. just make sure it's meant for airbrush!

  • @pristineejustinee just a note make sure with the dinair gun you are only using water based foundation, silicone based foundation will clog it

  • why haven't you made a video about IMATS new york

  • @piedelly i haven't edited it yet, tutorials are a bit more of a priority. :)

  • faut pas avoir peur de beurrer épais fille

  • What type of compressor do you use?!?! I totally could not hear u lol

  • @malyboobarbee I was just going to ask the same thing..

  • @malyboobarbee an Iwata!

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA THANKS!!

  • i love your nails :)

  • Please continue using this and do a follow up:P I got one of these for my birthday and the foundation does not seem to stay on...it rubs off like if it was dirt and when i cry you can see where my tears have taken the makeup off...please help me:)

  • I would love to be your client someday :)

  • @queenofblendingMUA I hav never used an airbrush foundation kit..so I wntd to knw if u put the blush first nd then the foundation or is tht just how u personally use it?

  • "just so that i know we are on the same about to die level" lmfao

nd my OCD is wishing that you set the other eye in the video! aaahhh!

  • LOve you!!!! <3

  • Nice :-)

  • do you always airbrush blush before foundation? does it work better this way?

  • @aliceekimm it's not a rule or anything, I just do it because I like the way it makes the blush look more natural, blended in and toned down!

  • lol that little laugh at 5:28 was sooo cute!

  • i love your nails! & thats pretty neat! hmm something to think about getting:)

  • question! what the best way to match the colour when working with a client? do you swipe a drop on their skin straight from the bottle or do you spray it onto their face and adjust as needed? thanks!

  • @amandaXOeu I've gotten pretty accurate with eyeballing at this point but i did used to test it on the side of their cheek at first!

  • no lie i actually had to fast forward to 6 minutes and skip the rambling before i could actually see her applying the airbrush

  • @ItzMeErica oh, good for you.

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA holy moly you responded?! lollllll

  • How do you feel about Luminess air? I heard it was good, but I'm a bit wary about getting one... >_>

  • @YukiElectrique I haven't tried it before, so I can't say too much.

  • I thought you said that we weren't going to be seeing you for a while due to you being a big-fat-liar? Just wondering. You were all sad and everything. Are you also an actress?

  • @jtorz ?

  • @jtorz ummmmmmmmmm....did you watch the entire video or take a look at the description box of that video? I'm guessing, no..

  • wow that looks great! i use air brushes for painting my masks, and have seen body art videos which are amazing! i never thought you could use it as an everyday make up thing/.

  • beautiful

  • cool:-) love to try it

  • can you use any foundation w/ the system ? like mac face and body or another liquid foundation ?

  • @TheBrainfood oh man, I've done it once, i dont think i could do it again. I'm not artistic enough and definitely not patient for it!

  • @endiawa ooh nice!!

  • @lilypond1929 a few minutes, like you see in this video. :)

  • LOL Danger Zone!

  • youre so pretty naturally! the airbrush is amazing

  • youre a bit too close to the camera, i feel like im right in your face.

  • @logIT135 my face is meant to be the focus.

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA ah okay, i love the finished effect, though. i had no idea what it would turn out like - wow!

  • that looks good. flawless:]

  • The airbrush looks really good on you ! Even tho your skin is already nice without it!

  • @MAKEUPBYMELLA89 thanks!

  • i love the blush color on u :)

  • Can you pleease do a video on your hair , how to style long hair , what products to use etc. ? If there allready is one , what is it called ?

  • @Kiwiims there's really nothing to it, it's just in a bun most of the time but I could!

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA That would be awesome : D

I'm really curious about your hair , people are always talking about it being so long , but I've never really seen much of it ; c

  • You look beautiful as always! The airbrush system looks nice, I've never had airbrushed makeup done

  • do you know if you can try it out for a month an return it if you dont like it, its so expensive i dont wana buy something and not be able to use it!! lol

  • @TheOPIaddict i have no idea what their return policy is , but im sure it wouldn't hurt to email and ask them!

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA i went to there website and there was a whole section on returns and exchanges i probably should have checked that first thanks so much!!! another question did you put the blush on before the foundation?

  • LAUREN- CAN YOU GIVE ME/US TIPS ON HOW TO BECOME A MAKEUP ARTIST? And also how you became a VERY popular MUA.. LUV Ur WORK!!! Thx girlie!!

  • @RobynEstell1 a lot of it is networking and just keeping your name out there.Test shoot a lot to build the portfolio and work on improvement! Just keep at it!

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA Thx so much for responding!

  • You should do a video on your piercings!!!

  • @2244girlygirl2 it's only ears and a septum, it would be pretty boring haha

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA welll i think it would be interesting to watch and talk about your expierences becuase i noticed you have a couple cartilage piercings. but if you think you might. can you pleaaaaaaassee !! Thanks so much for replying .i love you and your videos. your like the Gueen of makeup. welll the queen of blending . bu ya know ! :0 <3

  • this is the first time i've ever saw anything like this- i didn't know that airbrushing your make up on even existed lol! i couln't imangine doing my make up like that every day though lol! :) it looks really good on you though xxx

  • imats haul

  • Lauren, is it okay to use powder blush if you airbrush your foundation? I've been seriously thinking about buying a system, because I have really oily skin, especially in summer, and my skin is only just starting to clear up...do you recommend the Dinair more or the other you mentioned in the beginning?

  • @yaxofossiad yes, I do it, just to bump it up a tad. The other thing I mentioned was really just the compressor, doesn't really have anything to do with the makeup itself. i would just trust and rely on that for in my kit when I have multiple people to do.

  • I prefer to use a foundation brush to give an airbrushed look rather than actually airbrush. To each their own.

  • do u have dry or oily skin?

  • @belen0076 my skin is pretty much in between. or combo, i guess

  • i wanna see this in more detail!! i love your vids . i hope you get a hd camera sooon :)

  • @ale0x34 the camera i use is hd i just dont feel like waiting forever and a day for it to save and upload and all that. its too much. but I think the detail in this isn't so bad once it finishes processing.

  • Great vid! Can't wait for those new OCC products! Could you possibly do a video on how to contour w/cream? I guess I just wanna know which brush to use :P thanks in advance!

  • @TheMascaraAddict I actually just use my fingers, i have more control blending it and I use a sponge to help with that on my clients!

  • I love the look!

  • i wish i could get that

  • you know i am glad you did this because I had gota DINA MATCH and they emailed me back the same colors for my kit from a pic they saw of me an if you look at my profile we obviously arent the same color I am so glad I didnt send out for it I been holding out til the end of next month for the Iwata kit with the whole pro line unfortunately I am not a makeup artist or atleast didnt go to school for it but hopefully I am hearing the Mac store in NY sells them without having to give your cert.

  • Gah, you look amazing WITH or WITHOUT makeup!! (: So pretty!! Don't let anyone EVER tell you that you're not because they are just haters!

  • You r one of the first ladies i ever watched on here & u blew me away first time i saw u..u r awesome!!!

  • you sound so much like Mila Kunis

  • @TheChelseacraze thank you for saying Mila and not Meg like everyone else hahaha

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA lol xD I don't even associate her with that show really. but you're welcome :'D

  • it looks really smooth, but it seems to be a little light? Maybe it's the lights. I'm just used to your hands on approach I guess. But it looks really smooth..

  • @juju55488 i was thinking that too!! that light bulb is iffy to me. not sure if I like it or not...might have to change it back. it was hard to tell if the color matched or not. I think I could have used a drop more of the darker to be honest!

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA well you'll try it again...you are afterall the Queen of Blending... :)

  • You're skin looks beautiful and flawless! I love the effect!

  • thank you!

  • lmao!!!!!! the light blinks when it gets too high!!!!! hahahaha!!! btw you do awesome work!!!!

  • you are awesome lauren...you have the sweetest air about yourself

  • Does it feel liquidy as you spray it on? I would be tempted to try to blend it in.

  • @afranda not really, it just feels like a really cold almost like icy wind blowing on your face, if that makes sense. best way I can describe it haha

  • I looks amazing!

  • @xCrystalDo pretty awesome channel ;)

  • If people airbrush on eyeliner, how do they do their waterline or tightline?? Eeeek

  • @bouncyball7890 ACK!! I don't know but I wouldn't recommend trying it!!

  • hey everyone can you please stop by my channell thank you so much xxx

  • the color looks really good on you!

  • which air gun would u recommend for me to use on clients? Ive never used one b4, im thinking just for base and blush. oh also, can u spray ur blush after the foundation, is their a reason why u did it 1st? Thank you so much, i always learn a stack from ur vids xxx ps: been following u on twitter lately too xx

  • @msmadamemakeup a gun similar to this one is nice. I've only used a couple different ones, so i cant go into a bunch of comparisons. you can absolutely do blush after, I just like to do it that way. makes the blush look more natural and just a habit!

  • looks to time consumiing

  • @altimablackberry i agree, for daily wear. I dont know if I could do it on a regular basis.

  • i love you. Enough said :)

  • @lightning452 :D <3

  • Hi Lauren. I wanted to know which is the best airbrush system, and are there any that can be used w/ a face & body foundation? Thnx...

  • @nette817 i actually use the make up for ever face and body foundation, it goes on really nicely. i couldn't really say which is best because I've only tried a couple so it wouldn't be fair to pick a number one. i never had to venture off, to be honest. my iwata has been good to me!

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA Thank you so much for responding. I know it can be overwhelming with the amount of comments you receive!!! Happy Easter.

  • Can you use another type of foundation for dinair's system? I have a dinair system but I was gifted tempto foundation and it seems not to work well I get a spiting action is it my gun or the foundation?

  • @tymurren5 yea, it shouldnt matter. maybe the gun needed to be more cleaned out ?

  • @QueenofBlendingMUA Is there a better or another way to clean it, I put the rubber band on it and let it run with hot water..THANK YOU SOOO MUCH or getting back to me,,, took the brush apart and cleaned it then put it back 2gether and Ill get a nice even srpay then it will spit,, Ill look at it again and see if these any more cleaning I can do,,

  • Yea i feel the same way about airbrushing shadows.... Its like i dont have the control i want

  • eww lip tar on your face not a good idea haha

  • @stephtonikk why ?

  • @eLtherd I dont see it having a good finish, or good feeling on the skin. I also dont see it being healthy for the skin at all haha. Its just not made for that.

  • @stephtonikk i've been doing it and nothing has happened. my skin is fine. feels fine when I wear it. Look fine as well. I also use it as a cream blush. It actually is more of a multi purpose product that was released as a lip product.

  • LOVE the nails in this video Lauren!! and thanks a bunch for doing an airbrush tutorial.. i've been thinking about investing in an airbrush system, just don't know which one to choose yet!!

  • same one i use

    haha

  • totall feel the same way and understand. what vid was it?

  • U hhave beautiful skin, Lauren! :)

Btw when i watch you, you reminds me of Snooky! It's not necessarily a bad thing xD

  • I've missed you Lauren! lol I miss your tutorials... hope you're doing well. :)

  • Lauren, can u use normal liquid foundation in the gun? And what's the coverage? Full? Thank you!

  • @BrittzNWC You can't! I have that gun and I tried and it was sooo difficult to clean out from the gun, and it looked really bad! xD

  • @BrittzNWC regular foundation should not be used in an airbrush gun. it is too thick, too concentrated and not formulated to blend "on its own". and most airbrush foundations are a buildable coverage.

  • @BrittzNWC I wouldn't unless it was diluted, not all foundations have thin enough formulas to go through a gun and will clog it super fast. I'd stick with foundation that's meant to be airbrushed!

  • You have BEAUTIFUL skin Lauren!

  • i liked it. i love the blush color!!!

  • Lauren... YOUR NAILS!!! ^_^ love them!!

  • @AndeeLuvsMakeup HA!! that light, I laughed so hard after I was done with this..just turning it all the way up, like it was going into a panic. I don't know why I found it so hilarious!

  • @pbchick123 ikr

  • i would love to see you do makeup on someone else

  • @pbchick123 I did a tutorial on someone else a little while back..it's still up. It's always easier and convenient for me to just do it on myself :\

  • I always watch your vids but never need to comment. I have to say though that the airbrushing covered the darkness you have around your chin area much better than your normal foundation. This is a fair observation and nothing else, less someone jumps down my throat.

  • @AustraliaFour that's a helpful observation! thank you!

  • It looks light and natural. Very nice

  • I <3 you! just thought i'd say that : )

  • I use the same MUFE foundation
